I got a fat raise and a bonus today, kids! LET'S PARTY!

(Granted, I spent a year working three jobs and perfecting the art of bullshitting my way through corporate job interviews, but still. DREAMS DO COME TRUE!)
Congrats!  I appreciate when they actually notice that I half kill myself to make their company run well... It is not so much the money itself, but there are very few ways for a company to say "'thanks" and "well done" that are not monetary...

It is nice to hear that they recognized something that you have been doing.  :)

***Perhaps I should move the above post to the Bellahaven thread?  ;)

Watching the morning news with my first cup of coffee. I saw Under his video that George mentions he doesn't have a working cell phone yet. Something about it taking money, which has been in short supply ?

Oh, and CreditKarma was wrong??  :o

He is proud that he stole somebody's walker?

Can't believe the dufus called a bill collector to dispute a writeoff. "This says I don't owe you any money. Is that true?"

The thing that bothers me MOST in this video, I THINK, might be the comment he made underneath about needing a working cellphone, that costs money.  I think EVERYBODY knows that poor people can get FREE cell phones...

safelink for example:

https://www.safelinkwireless.com

I would post it under his video, but he will just delete it if I post it...

I know he prefers the very expensive IPhone, but, well, you know...

just sayin.

Heres another one:

http://www.assurancewireless.com/Public/Welcome.aspx

I think both of these services give you a free phone and limited minutes, but once you get the free phone, you can upgrade the plans, and/or purchase minutes cards, if you need more time.

How dare yew come in here offering a common sense solution! LOL ;D

PS I have an Iphone 5s with a crack at the corner of the screen that works just fine. I'm sure if I wanted to I could make youtube videos with it. But why would I do that? The crack is purely cosmetic and I have a case over it. Also there are many great non Apple products available as well but what do I know I'm just another hater so I will STFU now.  ::)

I understand perfectly. My LG phone has a chip in the corner of the screen, but the case I have on it now covers most of the chip, and it still works fine in every way.  I like everything about it, so I'll keep it as long as it works.

I'll try to STFU now too...

You also pointed out with that much money he could buy several computers but alas they would be windows machines. Oh I also have written both my novels on a 2006 macbook that still works beautifully. Also did all of my podcast work on that as well when I was still doing that sort of thing. It was $125 on ebay like four years ago. So buying used is also a way to go as well but I've probably said too much already.

And are you still making videos? I always enjoyed them.  :-*

Edit: who uses credit karma to determine their score? They estimate it, it's not an accurate score. Makes you wonder what he's trying to get financed none of which would be our business if he didn't share. lol

I'm a big EBay fan.  That's were I do most of my shopping!!  I haven't been doing videos lately. I've made many excuses for why I stopped doing them, but the truth is... Once I learned how much my videos angered George, I stopped doing them.

I felt so ashamed...

Well I think you should still do them if you enjoy them. I shop ebay a lot. Got some killer deals on doc martens and some other things I couldn't find anywhere else. I also don't need the latest and greatest technology. Never have.

Anyway back to hating away the day! One thing I learned about this thread a long time ago is trying to help someone who doesn't want help and only wants your money is pointless. But yet I still can't help but offer a more frugal solution. LOL ;D

Well, Yes, George prefers Amazon to Ebay as we all know.  Speaking for myself only, I can't afford Amazon. Ebay makes things that would be otherwise out of my financial reach, very affordable.

I have to admit, I'm addicted to the dramatics, and the chuckle factor of this thread, and bellgab in general.

There is a level of absurdity to this thread that makes it worth the read, although I would have to say the same thing for a lot of the threads here.
I couldn't sleep at night if I was soliciting donations online. I would feel down right awful. But to each his own. I kinda wish I had the expendable cash these people do to donate it to Falkie. LOL Although I would do something else with it like maybe invest in some stock options :)

I would still contribute to George if he did a really good live show, but as it is, if I had extra right now, I would donate it to MV.  Mostly though, I like to give anything extra to my neighbors. It's not usually money tho.  I still believe in "Charity begins at home".

There have been recent studies that shopping for something and purchasing it - say, spending the last dime to your name on marked-down Halloween decorations - produces a greater dopamine rush than the act of using the item itself.

This is why you haven't seen Senda playing with his AppleTV since the day he 'unboxed' it.

You could give Senda one of everything ever invented since Cavemen, and he'd still grift.

I wonder what kind of sexual harassment training George got when he was in retail.  He still seems to think its about sex and not power.

The Big Guy must be delusional from all the cleaning products.

Praise Norm.

Maybe George gets a dopamine rush by grifting.

What's your "rush" Hater?   Hating? Eh..

The best Falkie story was when he was fired for plunging the toilet. I mean who doesn't close the door for that.

Perhaps if George added more fiber to his diet he'd be able to make these turds more regular like.

If I recall lots of filth scrubbing - shower, floor, head, stove and an amazement that no one wants to sign up to be his in home help.
