Noory says:

"There's room for me to get better than I am."   :o

My favorite part is when Noory said,
I will answer any questions, & not hold anything back.
Then proceeded to  dodge the next question.  LOL.
Great interview MV.
Congrats to both you and Curtis. Well done!

MV I agree with what you said about broadcasting audio on the internet.  It's cheap, easy, and people do it all the time.   Netflix is probably the biggest bandwidth hog on the internet, is it not?   An *easy* solution for shitty streaming is more buffering, especially when it is only audio.    I can't believe this koz guy didn't say that.

Go listen to the show from 10/23 too.

It's quite entertaining, even though MV sounds like Jimmy Chunga.

But it is from  time when we thought Art was going to be with is for the next 3 years, so it is slightly depressing to listen to in light of that aspect.  Kind of like looking back at life before 9/11.

Those guys are awful hard on Falkie for driving a new Lexus though.

Hell of a show. Michael, you and Curtis are great. The inaugural gabcast was a hoot. I may just cancel my npr subscription. Now that you have us all hooked, don't be pulling an Art on us and break our hearts. Looking forward to the next jam

SpecSheet Nov 5 2013:

Falkie! You did NOT sound like I imagined whatsoever.

Bateman: I enjoyed listening to your viewpoint. Good speaker, think on your feet, solid insights IMO. (e.g., the meth-head truckers and the cat ladies reference, etc)

Can I assume the paranormal nut guests you didn't want to mention by name were Michael & Nicole Sebqastion? :)Because that was MY impression of them.

MV: Ever since you made a small reference to it I've been trying to think of a new name for BellGab in light of events. I got nothing so far.

Jazmundo: When you said you were short with your wife I wasn't sure what you were getting at at first. :) BTW, you sound like a great guy judging by your voice.

MV: Sorry to hear about your Hershey Squirts in Morocco. Why do you insist on drinking the water? :) But that was a lovely story to open with!

Nice to hear SaucyRossy, B_dubb, Spinner and the General! (Good point, General!) Good job to Curits too!

Fun show.

Oh and loved the input from Ryan. Where has HE been hiding all this time? Can he be the BellGab mascot? :)

LOL...  I have only watch a couple but you'd think someone would give him the courtesy of at least one listen.

Thank you.

I sometimes forget to Americanize my language when I'm not talking to Aussies.

When I lived in the States and I would talk with people on the phone (ie: calling for pizza, booking something or talking to government agencies and the like) I would often just put on an American accent (yes you guys have the accent, I speak normally) just to be understood correctly. :)

And it would probably work too, unless you ordered a Vegemite pizza. Dead giveaway.

Ahahaha. No, I didn't! I did say some are strange and I ignore them. I saw you post this in ufo chat after my call. Didn't recognize you, and in here saw your avatar and giggled.

true, but the question is...
how large would an apartment complex.... full of world of warcraft and call of duty players feeding on free Red Bull.... need to be to exceed bandwidth usage of Netflix?

huge. i used to run call of duty servers for a large gaming clan. with over 150 players connected over multiple server instances, we were only pushing around 10mbps. To put that in perspective, a single HD netflix stream can easily run between 7-10 mbps. So 150 netflix streams would use 150x the bandwidth of 150 COD players.

hmmm.... ok then.... would a netflix style porn service pull as much use/bandwidth? maybe?  ;)

"Being short" with someone is pretty American as far as I know. As long as it means the same thing.

WTF?   Falkie posts videos of himself all the time.

Obviously I haven't seen any of them or I wouldn't have posted that. Also, I am blind, I have all images turned off (which is why I don't have an avatar) and have all avatars turned off, etc. So WTF indeed.

(Added in edit: I suppose I could explain a little. I have "images" turned off in my browser and "read" peoples' posts with a "text-to-speech reader" in my PC.)

Forgive me Tarbaby, I meant no disrespect to the handicapped with my comment.  Sometimes I fail to remember that even blind people "read" the web.  Sorry... seriously.  It's a shame though, you'll never get to see Falkie in all his glory.
