Looks like I didn't miss much by skipping this show.  Thanks for the reviews, everybody.

A Knapp-sack of tricks couldn't pull this one off. These guys just recycled the more common "alien lore" and are trying to sell their book of it.

In other news I have been having strong cravings for corned beef rehash today.

DeLonge literally wouldn't answer one question straight, not even about his Podesta emails He just kept saying It's really exciting stuff but I don't really want to talk about it right now. THEN WHY THE FUCK DID YOU COME ON THE SHOW?!  ::)

Count me out for any future DeLonge shows. Total con man!  ;)

Lol agreed. I'm a little surprised Knapp has stayed on board with this one and am curious if he will continue to report on it. I found myself contemplating the possibility that they believed everything they said and all the meetings really happened, and that they are the victim of a huge practical joke. "Podesta you old bastard! I just had these two assholes in my office talking about spaceships. I just looked at them dead serious and said 'Greek mythology'. That's it! That's all I said! They thought it was great!! They're off to Greece."

"Nice!  Next time you gotta mention the Sumerians, trust me they'll eat it up!"

That used to be a late lunch for me, until I realized my already poor sleep was being negatively affected by all the caffeine and booze. Who knew?

I had to pull the rip cord on the DeLonge/Levenda episode as well.

Kept waiting for it to get better and before you know it you  are 45 minutes in and like "Why the hell am I listening to this?"

 Groovy Baby

Honduran Lost City/ Witness Encounters
Sunday - March 19, 2017
Hosted by George Knapp
Guest(s): Douglas Preston, Simeon Hein

First Half: Rumors have long circulated about an ancient lost city hidden in the Honduran interior. Author and researcher Douglas Preston joins George Knapp to recount his aerial mission using LiDAR laser technology to map the terrain under the rain forest canopy. He'll share the tantalizing surprises of what the flight revealed.

Second Half: Sociologist Dr. Simeon Hein details his investigation into how our society treats witnesses to unexplained events, UFOs, and mysterious beings. He looks deeply at why our society is so reluctant to engage and address the critical issues raised by such phenomena.

Sounds like a good show in the making.  I enjoyed binge-reading a couple Preston books awhile back.

Sigh...I'll be there but I'm very skeptical after that last UFO show with unquestionable shill, Tom DeLonge.  ::)

Knapp better make good this time!  >:(

Nice. Seems like it will be a good show. Preston is good. He has some good books, "Monster of Florence" I really liked and I'm not usually a "true crime" buff. His other ongoing fiction series is getting a bit ridiculous and I've stopped reading but the early stuff was pretty good for the airplane read.

I'm not sure what Knapp's fascination  is with DeLonge.  Most of us saw a clunker coming with that show.  Maybe Knapp just likes Blink 182. ???

Yeah DL's first appearance was kinda cool novelty-wise, but the last couple have nosedived.  I thought I even picked up some irritation on Knapp's part last time, so we may only hear him again via bumper songs.  ;)

He hosts Sunday. Today is Saturday. Connie Willis is hosting. I know that today is Sunday but it's Saturday's show. Tune in Monday to hear Sunday's show when Knapp is hosting.

LOL - I was thinking it was Sunday night already. I've been keeping odd hours lately. Awesome - I gained an extra day. ;)
Thanks for bringing that to my attention J.J.  :)

You took daylight savings time too far man ... It's go ahead 1 hour, not 1 day.  Good news is now you have a day to rest up for the show.   :D

Wow. Look at the crowd hanging out in anticipation. Seems I'm not the only one who can't wait for Knapp Night. We're like little kids with our noses pressed against the window waiting for the toy store to open ... or latest iPhone release.  See you tomorrow night!
