It would be much simpler if this character Obama simply granted all these nice illegals amnesty or made them one of his "dreamers." Unfortunately for them he apparently is going to delay his amnesty plans (except for the illegal children he is shipping around the country and the illegals he releases by his "catch and release" policy) because he doesn't want to negatively effect the elections because most Americans are against his amnesty plans. Very cynical move but expected from such a character as Obama, and they still have an open-border so it is not all bad for the cartels, sex traffickers, gang members, and illegals.

More TB outbreaks? Likely due to illegals but officials are being very tight lipped on how it started.

At least we all will have Obamacare when all the diseases brought by illegals, over our open-border or by his illegal dumping policies, start to break out.

How many of these kids will be attending Sidwell Friends school in Washington DC?

What's good for our kids schools should be good for the Obama girls' school.

I would love to hear their sputtering opposition to this.
They say the usual "do as I say, not as I do" or bring up the "security issues" related with being a Presidential daughter. Interestingly, I'm surprised (not really) that Sidwell allows the daughters to have armed guards considering they are founded, and I guess run, by The Society of Friends. The Quakers used to be against violence, serving in the military, etc.

" WASHINGTON (AP) -- President Barack Obama has quietly slowed deportations by nearly 20 percent while delaying plans to act on his own potentially to shield millions of immigrants from expulsion.

The Homeland Security Department is on pace to remove the fewest number of immigrants since 2007, according to an analysis of its data by The Associated Press."

"Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other." John Adams, 10/11/1798

That about explains our current dilemma. Uh-may-zing. The Founding Fathers were so completely fore-sighted, it almost makes one think America's founding was Providential...

I agree we need to control our borders but I'm not for sending malnourished kids in a van to Quetzlcoatl. I think they are refugees and should at least be temporarily granted asylum until it is safe enough to return to the their families.

They will never be sent back/returned to their families. This is a fairytale being told to pacify us. I, myself, am too old to believe in fairytales. If anything, their families will be scooted on over here to join them...I mean, that was their plan to begin with.

I call it "Anchor Babies version 2.0."  You are right. Even the HEARINGS for the "children" (some of which are in their late teens and early 20's) have been scheduled for years from now (if they even show up) but they will be used to bring families in with them (our misguided immigration policy has a priority on "families", often extended even.)

-Nobody, or most people, don't want to see families separated or children in trouble but taking this policy to its logical conclusion will destroy the country. And why do we officially decide that "children" from certain countries are necessary to take in and protect but not those from other countries? Not to mention the problems associated with education, housing, healthcare, and funding for "children" with so many problems (diseases, illiterate, emotional trauma, pregnancies, criminality or gang affiliations, etc.) Especially when we have children HERE with problems and families HERE with problems! How is importing more problems going to help our people, veterans, healthcare system, education system, unemployment, crime, etc?

Unless it effected his policy to Balkanize the nation directly (like big losses for his party or people calling for a secure border) I think Obama could care less. He has already caught and released illegals who are gang members and even child molesters and rapists. Why should he care if a terrorist gets through? His house and hia children are protected. And they mainly cross Into states where people wisely voted against him. Anything to destroy, sorry, "fundamentally change" the country.

So the Feds are building yet another new building for the comfort of the friendly illegals. Of course, if you are a US citizen who is homeless or poor, or even Veteran who has fallen on hard times or has medical or mental conditions- good luck finding affordable housing, shelter, education or healthcare in many cities or get some some secret "waiting lists". But nothing is off limits if it helps illegals. Free healthcare, free education (even for adults), basketball courts, flat screen televisions, air conditioning and heating, and all for free! Simply walk across the open-border and, if you happen to get caught, you are set up! We will even give you a lawyer to help you with immigration issues!

Reading this you would think this is just one of those daily crimes here in the USA caused by immigrants, especially illegal immigrants. But it goes to show you how it is not just the USA that has amazingly awful immigration policies. And, due to political correctness, they even release criminals, or ignore sex crimes if committed by immigrants in Britain.
"Zalkalns, who moved to Britain in 2007 after serving his sentence, was arrested but then released in 2009 following an accusation from another 14-year-old girl who said he had drugged and sexually assaulted her, British media reported."
"The 14-year-old went missing more than a month ago while walking along a canal in west London and the Latvian man, a convicted murderer, was seen nearby at the same time.

The suspect, Arnis Zalkalns, who served eight years in prison in Latvia for stabbing his wife and burying her in a forest, has been missing and police believe he may have returned to his home country."

If Duncan Hunter Jr. says it, you can take it to the bank and cash it. I know his dad (former congressman of same districts) and he is the most honorable the man I`ve ever known.

I'm a little suspicious of the claims of ISIS members crossing our open border. But certainly they could quite easily (assuming they could get to and through Mexico.) I'm more concerned with the average illegal who walks across the open border and commits crimes- sometimes violent and sometimes non-violent- or brings and spreads disease.
Stories like this one that you see daily are more worrying than the current border threat by ISIS. I don't know what is more crazy: that we have a President who encourages people like this to come here illegally or that a guy only gets 12-15years for that crime!!

The terrorist cells are here, growing, and will hide for as long as it takes.

They aren't going to do small time terror operations like the Boston Marathon, the Oklahoma beheading, the Ft Hood shooting, starting forest fires - those were all done by Muslems unaffiliated with terror groups.  Those events give them little benefit.

No, not being fools, they will wait to strike a devastating coordinated and relentless blow, which could well destroy the economy and our political structure.  A handful of people at a time coming in and settling here is all they need.

I'm sure there are cells but I doubt, at least until recently, most of them were coming across the open-border or are from ISIS. Most are people we actually let in legally, those "students" who over-stay their VISA that we don't round up or monitor, and those radicalized in our prisons where we allow Muslims to recruit. Also, I've heard some weird tales about Fethullah Gülen cult and the "charter schools" and camps he has set up in the USA and around the world.

Having said that, even if Islam never existed we should still have a protected border. Can you even be a country if you have no border?

But is there even any truth to the cries that the borders are more porous than ever, or is it just the conservative media trying to hype it?  I've heard Clinton (Bill) say that the borders are more secure than anytime since he became president, and looking at the both the money that has been spent on Homeland Security since 2001 (I've seen figures from 400 billion to one trillion) and the leveling off of the undocumented population in the United States since 2008 or so, I believe it.  For myself, I now need a passport to enter from Canada which is something I never needed before.

Obviously illegal immigration remains a problem but when will it not be a problem?  When Fox news says it's not?  When another trillion has been poured into it?  When there are forty foot high depleted-uranium clad walls with barbed wire and a twenty mile wide zone of land mines and America is an armed camp?  I know I'm using hyperbole but how will you know when enough is enough?  How will you know when it is time to stop depleting other federal programs so that monies can be directed at border security?

When the US economy sinks illegal immigration, usually, goes down but a large concept that nobody discusses is that another reason the US allows illegals for so long is not just about new voters for Democrats, the ability to expand the social systems and Federal government, the Balkanization of the country, cheap labor for corporations and farmers, or even more prisoners for the prison systems (often out-sourced and private) but to help prevent total destabilization of those countries, like Mexico. Immigration allows some pressure to be taken off those governments and economies and allows, especially in past decades, capital to flow BACK to those countries (in the past, usually, it was male worker immigration who would remit funds back to their families and towns in their native country.) Western Union etc also made $$ from it. Only more recently, especially under Obama's tacit encouragement, did they start dumping children en masse or had children even travel on their own to try to become a "dreamer."

The only known terrorist entry into the US were through Canada, whose border remains effectively wide open while the Mexican border is patrolled by drones and massive BP expansion. But the right isn't at all concerned about the Cdn border. The logical conclusion isn't rocket science.  The right wants to distract us while ISIS comes across the northern border and shelters in Idaho's conservative enclaves.

I'm not sure the definition of "terrorist" is, actually. I'm guessing usually it involves a political motive or, in the current era, Muslim. Though in my state "terroristic threat" can be just threatening a peace officer for retribution, threatening the government, or threatening your wife, etc.  But, even if they aren't political terrorists or Muslim, there are plenty of killers, etc who cross our open-border. One illegal who was a serial killer obviously comes to mind, but there are others. Just open the newspaper and read up on the latest murder or child rapist. Or visit a prison where a good percentage, especially in States like Texas, California, and Arizona are illegals in prison for other crimes. A decent percentage of Federal prisoners also are illegal. (Granted much of these are for so-called "non-violent" crime like fatal DUI accidents, narcotic distribution, etc. Not all illegals in prison were rapists or killers- though many are.)

Right. And we all know how forthcoming and transparent the Obama administration is, right? Come on.

The only reason you never hear about this is because the other networks refuse to address the problem. It's not a popular topic of conversation on the official Obama propaganda networks (essentially, all of them, with the exception of Fox News).

Thankfully, there are few good local news  outlets doing the legwork necessary to uncover the truth. None-the-less, I feel confident you'll have no problem at all with accusing everyone in this report of lying, distorting and misleading the public. I honestly wish I could be that naive. Life would be so much less complicated.

Another great thing our friendly illegals participate in is sex trafficking. Besides the frequent rapes committed against US citizens and children they also enjoy bringing in women and girls for use in prostitution rings, often the nice technique is to rape them frequently to "bring them in line for use."
http://www.imperialvalleynews.com/index.php/news/national-news/11617-defendant-pleads-guilty-for-role-in-brutal-sex-trafficking-ring.html
An added benefit is the victims of the friendly illegals' sex trafficking rings is also, often become refugees on a U-Visa and so help burden our social system but can later, hopefully, (by getting a Green Card and then become naturalized) provide a increased voter base for a certain political party and the traffickers, if caught, can be added to our burgeoning prison system. A win-win!
