Utter bullshit. In IT? If a foreign worker is employed in a US IT firm, they are not being paid less than an American. Theyre there because they have the expertise...

It's also the biggest companies who are the worst abusers.  Fraudbook, Apple, and the ''Do No Evil'' Google phonies probably lead the pack, followed by the other companies with the names you know.  Interestingly enough, they are also the ones you hear about lobbying for this garbage, lying about the ''need'' for all these foreigners.

There is no doubt there are some very smart, highly intelligent foreigners working for our high-tech companies.  The idea they are better workers or ''have the expertise'' is incorrect.  In engineering, as in most other professions, expertise is learned on the job.  Due to cultural and language barriers, they are not as good.  In general - not everyone.

The ones from Europe, certainly from Western Europe fit in much better.  India, South Korea, China, these engineers tend to be less innovative, less productive, less able to work with a team, need more of their manager's time.  Again, not everyone, and again, it's cultural.  There have been plenty of very successful engineers from these places who've reached the top ranks of their companies, or gone on to form their own.  Many are exceptional.  Others are industrial spies.

The idea that we need to bring thousands of engineers from elsewhere is nonsense.  It's about cost cutting.

That certainly sounds like a recipe for success that these hugely successful firms would follow.  Finally I understand why they have outsourced- they want less innovation and more failure.

I feel as though I should look for supporting or contrary "evidence", but I get the feeling that to find anything other than "anecdotal evidence" or opinions is going to be tough.  I suppose I could just accept your assertion as fact.

When I post one (statistic), I'll let you know.

In the mean time I'll continue pointing out the obvious gross flaws in the bullshit ones posted here

Source for the claim that these foreigners are not as good?  ;)

That sounds about right. Resistance is futile.

Oh? The Republicans have spent the last eight years saying how bad the ACA is and yet they catch the car and oddly don't have a comprehensive, easily understood and inclusive answer yet.

You senile demented Putz! How many times do we have to tell and remind you?
I, Meister,  am *not* Female, am *not* a Dyke, *not* homosexual, *am* heterosexual male, had *nothing to do with* your personal difficulties. Nevertheless,  you remain a vile and violent-natured demonic-spawn as I long ago recognized and as you continue to demon-strate! You are _not_ easy to like/love, in your Bellgab personna to be sure, I must remind you, and so that you have enemies somewhere should not surprise anyone. You *are* detestable. But my stating that fact openly is proof of nothing more than my fullfilment of obligations -- the responsibilities that accrue and attend to "knowing".

You think 14th is bad? It will drop like a rock now

Trump Budget Proposal Cuts $9 Billion from Department of Education
After-school programs, instructional support and research face cuts; school choice gets boost

But instead of college kids can learn to carry a rifle

Trumpís budget requests $54 bn defense increase, while slashing other departments

You mean they will learn a useful skill?

The chairman of a US congressional committee on intelligence said Sunday that he has seen "no evidence" that President Donald Trump's campaign colluded with Russia during the runup to the 2016 election.

Based on "everything I have up to this morning -- no evidence of collusion," said US Representative Devin Nunes, head of the House Intelligence Committee, speaking to the Fox News Sunday television program.

Confirmed by FBI that no evidence exists that Obama ordered a wiretap on Trump tower, or Trump was wire tapped. Also confirmed that GCHQ didn't spy on Trump on Obama's behalf. NSA boss agreed with GCHQ view that Trump's accusations are nonesense and unhelpful.

Who would have possibly guessed that outcome. After all, Trump and his poodles gave no evidence, and even admitted it was only what they'd heard by a right wing radio host and a 9/11 truther on Fox.

But Comey did confirm there is an ongoing investigation into Trump, his poodles and the Russians.

The manchild isn't fit for purpose. He should return to his tower and stay there. Out of harms way.

I see he hasn't tweeted his reaction that everyone in authority home and abroad thinks he's an idiot and spouts bollox.

He can't help himself. He's an adolescent in an old man's body. Spicer must be on some serious anti depressants knowing he has to spin the shit that Trump comes out with.

To be accurate,  Fox's election polls were as far off as other MSM outlets so I wouldn't give any of their polls much weight .  LA Times and IBD were the most accurate.

Do you really think they'd differ much at this point? Regardless of overwhelming negative public opinion Trump would call all of them fake. It's impossible for the narcissist to admit he's not the great man he believes he is.

So, in other words Blah, blah, blah.... Trump bad! How original of you! You've only posted this same sentiment about a thousand times before. I guess that's how propaganda works though. Keep repeating the bullshit and hopefully enough sheep will pile on.  :D

I think narcissism is a prerequisite for running for president. I can't think of a candidate in my lifetime that didn't exhibit that trait. That being said, I think Trump should can the tweets. They should put a whiteboard up in the Oval Office bathroom and let him go to town.

You'd still allow him in the WH? He needs to be put in a rest home. But no doubt his faithful still think he isn't a demented fool with absolutely no self awareness or care for the damage he's doing. He's making the USA a laughing stock. All by himself, because Spicer just repeats what he's told to say. Ryan is a coward.

CONFIRMED: NO COLLUSION WITH RUSSIA ON THE PART OF TRUMP OR HIS STAFF.

Let's not forget that the Dems, whose number include virtually all the corporate media, have fabricated a narrative based on a non-event (Flynn's perfectly legal phone conversation with a Russian diplomat and incidental contact by low level staffers) and parlaying it into a months-long controversy and an expensive and time consuming congressional investigation.  We have all been witness to the MSM daily promulgation of innuendo, unfounded rumor and outright lies aimed at bringing down Trump's presidency.  There is no room for honest people to disagree on this fact and anyone who fails to acknowledge it is an unprincipled lout, a liar or a goddamn fool or maybe all three.  Citing Trump's shortcomings in defense of these coordinated acts of sedition in no way justifies it and in iteself demonstrates the perversity of left wing thinking.
