Before I moved I used to get his show on cable on the Tech TV Channel...Great Show! Leo is one of the brightest and most intelligent people I've watched. He avoids getting too techie on you so you understand the topics.

He's not a tech snob. Have you ever seen the tech guy skit on SNL? EvB is like Leo too. Very nice and helpful when it comes to technology....The school where I work is complete crap at tech help. I called IT/help and they always tell me "you won't be able to do it yourself". I had called about setting up an outlook-type e-mail program with my faculty email. Assholes!

nearly two years later, i've come to the conclusion that leo laporte is an insufferable phony.  i do not like this man.  however, i continue to listen to SOME of his network's podcasts because it's a really good way to stay connected with tech news.  i wish i could find a decent alternative to his network, though.  it's difficult to suffer through laporte and his stable of hipster subordinates.

Here in my local market, Leo Leporte is aired by 970 WFLA-AM on Sunday Afternoons. I'm in no way whatsoever a tech junkie- I use a non camera cell phone, my digital camera is the same one I bought in 2001, I drive a 53 & 80 yr old car & truck as my everyday rides.

When I listen to his program, I find some stuff interesting, but most everything else is over my head as I don't know what the hell he is talking about! However he does come across as laid back and easy going and doesn't have a huge ego. At least that's how I perceive him.

Leo Laporte sounds like he really loves the sound of his own voice.
