Who were all those people who demanded that you ban me?

C'mon people, stay focused! Falkie needs $5000 to begin court proceedings to sue Chefist (on top of the $4000 needed for a convention that may or may not be about aliens). There are skirmishes breaking out all over the faintly populated areas of bellgab.

Think of the children! But don't get twitchy about it, perv.

If Falkie dies of hunger I'm blaming bellgab.

i'm fine.

you can still attach certain files.  just not images, since there are countless third party services that can host those images for use here.

when heather told me what you said, she did not say "gravitysucks told me this."  she told me it was someone by the name of ******* *****.  your actual name.  she did not know who you were based on your legal name, but i did.

it will.

I just went through every single message I sent Heather and there are three times i mentioned your name. No where in those three messages or in any other message did I even come close to suggesting that you were plotting against her show, and I would never believe that anyway. 2 of the times were talking about your hands off attitude in not banning people that were trolls and 1 time was saying that you paid her and Art a compliment in one gabcast.

If you would like to see screen grabs of those messages pm me an email address and I will forward them to uou.  Warning: 1 of them I did say you were stupid.

Once again, believe her or believe me. Your decision.

As far as hosting images on the site, I don't blame MV one bit. The size of some image files must of been a hosting cost nightmare.

So come to bellgab and grift for a free AC, skip 80% of your shows, then scurry away because of a few Trump opinions you don't like.  Cool!

She doesn't get my vote.

Gabcast?

oh boy.

the bellgabathon, which was to raise money for the forum's operating expenses, obligated me to do podcasts for you?  holy hell.  look... if the forum goes permanently offline two weeks after a bellgabathon, then you can piss and moan about it.  the difference between a lot of other people and me is that i'd refund every dollar in such a circumstance.

you've been white knighting as viceroy of this broad's protectorate since moment number 1.  it's very unbecoming.  you have that tendency, though, like when you sent heather messages telling her "mv is plotting against your show."  yeah, i know about that.  i realize you thought i never would, but heather told me in one of her many tear-infused skype sessions, which is why i now keep you at arm's length you gossiping, phony fucking yenta.  i'm guessing heather did not fuck you in exchange for that intel, and no, amy is also probably not going to fuck you or anyone else who is capable of personally recalling the kennedy assassination.

you're now free to stop pretending we're "buds."

I'm not sure where you're going with this but I can feel your passion.

oh, and by the way, gravitysucks... when amy asks that you not tell everyone about her sun dried raisin ovaries, perhaps you should honor her request rather than send out private messages doing exactly the opposite.  that's your m.o., though... pal one minute, a bleeding back the next.  quite uncouth.

But are they Golden Raisin Ovaries.  I heard that gin and golden raisins are an old tyme remedy for arthritis.

My recollection is that one of those online fundraising (Kickstarter, GoFundMe, etc) was used as an appeal to get an AC unit.  I also recall a photo posted showing it was 80 degrees where she was doing the show.  Boo hoo.

I can't quite make out why someone claiming this:

Quote
There have been evenings I've been in-session and I've nearly fainted or gotten very sick during breaks. My Central AC unit sucks, and I don't own this place.

...would have the slightest hesitation pulling the landlord aside for a chat. "Nearly fainted"?  "Very sick"?  Really?  I don't know tenant law in the US, but I would think that a landlord would have a responsibility to repair/replace the central AC unit if it wasn't functioning properly.

I'm also pretty sure a BellGabber paid the majority of money for the AC unit.

Looks like the unit she wanted cost $428 rather than the $100 I thought she had been asking for.  I don't recall where I saw the $100 figure being mentioned (it's probably a slip of memory), but I am impressed Amy Martin was able to raise $367 (according to her gofundme page).  Not a fortune, certainly, but still a fairly decent chunk of change.

(I wonder if the fundraising would have gone quite as well had it been Arnie Martin making the appeal instead?)

In any case, I thank both you and GravitySucks for sorting me out.  This saga was far more interesting than I had initially been led to understand.  :)

Given that you're inquiry and that you're British you're most likely a nosey, busybody socialist who spends more time looking into other people than you do actually living your own life. Now you're implying there's some sexism about this. Double plus good, mate!  ::)

If Arnie Martin was as good at radio as Amy was I'm sure it would've gone similarly. Now, run along! I'm sure there are British people who need judging too.  :D

One of the few nights I actually made it here...

I would cancel my plans and stay home for Halloween- but I fear that either a zombie apocalypse or an ingrown toe nail may lead to the cancellation of the show.  :-\

I wonder what malady, insect, technical problem, weather event, or disease caused the "no show" tonight? I don't really care since I was going to watch bb anyway but still curious.

Internet "radio" hosting- the most dangerous job in the country!

I agree. Things around here seem to be going to hell in a handbag lately. You know, it all seemed to have started when Falkie wished death upon us Bellgabbers a few weeks back. I don't keep current on Falkie news, but if he's tried to take it back, it might be one of those things where it can't be reversed without the curse-giver going to great and gross lengths such as swinging the entrails of a gravid ruminant 14 times over his head at the cock's crow for 8 days prior and 7 days after the New Moon. Or something along those lines. And I can't see Falkie going to those lengths under most circumstances. So I'm thinking this may all indeed be a slow demise resulting from the Falkie Death Curse.

It would seem it is not even worth posting the reason anymore?  Simply, "I'm not here tonight?"

I jus canna do it, Captain! I can't stand the host's voice...and lack of intelligence...talent, etc. Seriously, out of the entire crop of Dark Matter shows this one is the dumbest...but that's just my opinion.  :D
