Just political theater or just plain weird.

Or just another example of this guy Obama's odd, conflicted personality and upbringing? Or just the usual craven politician who wants to be "everything to everyone" and make some photo-ops?

-Islamic by birth (Muslim father): and schooling (for a time, when he was using another name in his youth, other times went to Catholic or secular schools. Sends his children to a school run by The Society of Friends (Quakers.))

-Christian (of a sort of black militant type): when he was "organizing" in Chicago, getting married, and seeking votes (until he had to throw his pastor and mentor "under the bus".)

-Jewish: "in my soul"*

-Non Of The Above, some odd combination, or secular humanist: aggressively pursues policies that would not be supported by the more traditional members, at least historically, of most of those groups (homosexuality, abortion, wars, racial divisiveness, etc.)

Yeah, who knows?

Or cares, even?

To become a senator in Illinois is to grovel before AIPAC. Findley, Percy and Stevenson III are hard lessons. David Axelrod and Rahm Emanuel being confidants of Obama. They meant more to him on their worst day than Jeremiah Wright on his best. Yes, high theater from a fork tongued politician.

So now he's a Muslim, Black Militant, Jewish secular humanist who supports homos and abortions.  I swear it's like Archie Bunker never left.

It is isn't my allegation but his own statements, newspaper reports, and his auto-biographies and speeches that leads to me to wonder about who he thinks he is:

1) Muslim: he claimed that the Adhan is the "one of the prettiest sounds on Earth."
http://tinyurl.com/ppyo26y
Attended a Muslim school in Indonesia under his other name Soetoro (we have yet to see any legal name-change paperwork as to when he changed his name, if he was legally adopted, or when he legally changed his name back to Obama.)
Muslim religion is carried paternally (through the father's bloodline.) (Unlike Jewish that is through the Mother, which interestingly had some good purposes so social cohesion in ancient times apparently.)

2) Christian: albeit of an unique sort of "black militant" type. His mentor, friend, and Reverend Wright that even married the Obamas. He claimed to attending that church in Chicago of Rev.Wright etc until it became a political issue, and then he "threw him under the bus"

3) Jewish: his weird recent statement that he is Jewish "in my soul."
http://tinyurl.com/ke2xfvk

4) Something else: recall all those "lucky charms" and talismans he carried with him everywhere and featured in Time Magazine? Weird.
http://content.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,1867123,00.html
And that odd group (or maybe cult) SUBUD member of which was the only person in Hawaii to see the "original" certificate of birth issued there (who died in that suspicious airplane accident of a heart attack after surviving the crash. Only person who died.)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Subud

5) Totally secular: certainly a likely option because much of his key personal peccadilloes and concerns, like BGLT and homosexuals, abortion, and wars aren't appreciated or supported by most of the followers or doctrines of the above religions (depending on the faith, sect, or group of course.)

So who knows? I'm guessing this is just the usual "be everything to everybody" type of politics but with the mysterious, and frankly bizarre, background of this guy who really knows?

I can't believe I forgot about all those persistent rumors! One wonders if his obsession, or all those rumors, led him to direct his minion to issue this Christmas present to his flock:

(On the good side, his minion claims to be looking out for the "protecting the civil rights of all Americans”, of course, they don't care about the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc especially if pertaining to the NSA, IRS, TSA, AFT&E, etc.) I'm waiting for some cross-dressing, gun-toting, homosexual, small business operating, land-owner, illegal alien, anti-abortion, Catholic to sue and really get the administration in knots over priorities!

I thought his dad was Frank Marshall Davis? :o Who knows? Obama might not even know for sure who his real dad was (as opposed to adopted fathers, father-figures, and mentors.) His mom, Stanley, seemed to have been trying to create a mini-UN with her profligate lifestyle.

God Bless Albrecht.  Without his daily aspersion-casting rants, I would actually believe humankind has hope for peace and justice instead of hatred and division.

Tell you what, have Obama release his basic documents - not the fakes and forgeries he's presented so far - and get all this over with.

Of course anyone spending millions of dollars to hide who he is is going to be questioned, and theories are going to be put forward.

Merry Christmas to you also, if I'm allowed to say that. I hope Holder or someone doesn't charge with me with a hate crime for mentioning Christmas. Or the IRS on me for mentioning Christmas. I really feel bad for the families of the officers shot and killed due to the rhetoric and divisive policies. And, even, sentiments for the "gentle giants" and "youths" who were killed due to their lifestyle and upbringing and their families. Ignorance and dependence engendered for generations. Very sad. And the bad cops out there fueled by the Federal government military give-aways, confiscatory seizure laws, and sadly the broken people who were formerly in the military who now are hired by police and have mixed-up minds and "rules of engagement" due to conflicting government policy, multiple deployments, and a VA "death panel" waiting lists and program of dismissing people for "cause" that were caused by the wars. And now treat policing as if they are going after Bin Laden....unfortunately due to the Obama Doctrine they increasingly are! With the open-borders and the cartels, the dreamers, and the rhetoric from on high, and in the urban culture and music about "no snitch" and "kill police."

Remember when Obama was going to bring us together?

Instead of that, he helps light the fuse.  Add it to his pile of lies.

I never believed it and can't believe how many did. A cue was his speeches, and especially how sullen, aggressive, and odd Michelle was. Gnashing of teeth into some forced smile. Bared teeth anytime the country or military was mentioned.  My goodness, at one point I though she might tear off onto stage and assault Hillary. But, yes, sadly, I recall the people believing it.Especially during the initial campaigns. And then the news and videos and speeches of his friends and mentors!  But the same people also think many fallacious things. Red has to hit now because it was black 3x before. Vegas and DC wouldn't exists if the "HOUSE" wasn't assured to win. Though, it will be interesting, assuming there are historians or even a country, in several decades as how they will review the election of this character Obama. Maybe written in Mandarian- it will be interesting to see the psychology of "white guilt", the wanting of "being a part of history" simply for that sake, the sluggish "no more Bush", or what the motivations were. He wasn't a good speaker. An odd style of stopping/starting, without a prompter clueless and lost, and a weird cadence. I reallly don't know why the media think he is a good speaker. Even his written ones were lacking in actual details and poor, hesitant delivery (unless he was on things like racial animus in which he was very smooth in denigrating his grandmother, etc) But for a lawyer? And especially for politician? He is not well-spoken or quick on his feet when speaking or when questioned.

Oh, we can write that one right now.  A total re-write of his term (assuming he leaves), he will have been the most transformational, gifted, adored, statesman we've ever had ever.  A civil rights icon against all odds in racist America.  If the economy ever gets back to normal, he will get the credit no matter how far down the road that is.  He will be hailed as a foreign policy genius.  He'll be Lincoln, Washington, MLK, and Mother Teresa, Hawkeye Pierce, and Jackie Robinson all rolled into one.  No amount of gushing will be too much.

Look at the 'legacy' of murderous thug Nelson Mandela

Look at Kennedy.  Starting with a likely stolen election, the nepotism of appointing Bobby as AG, the spying on MLK,  the philandering.  An incredible string of foreign policy blunders:  getting his clock cleaned by Khrushchev at their Austrian Summit - which lead directly to the building of the Berlin Wall and to the miscalculation of the Cuban Missile Crisis, the escalation of the Vietnam war, stranding our allies at the Bay of Pigs, on and on.  The Libs rail against the CIA, but somehow never mention what happened in Iraq during the JFK years, or the assassination of Diem in Vietnam.  All in just 35 months.

And what do we have:  the myth of 'Camelot'

It's good to be a Liberal Icon.  God knows they need people to look up to

Obama has always been the proverbial shape shifter.  I don't know why this is significant now.  Even left leaning groups bitch and moan about this factor because Obama was supposed to be their radical comrade or he's not black enough for them, or some other letdown.

As far as I'm concerned, he's just a thin-skinned, inexperienced, egotistical college professor with a chip on his shoulder.  He's also rooted in bullshit liberation movements and revolutionary theory that is admittedly baby-steps to totalitarianism, rather than the populism that the movements propose.  He isn't a Marxist or whatever, but his foundation influences his actions when he strikes out.  And he strikes out often because he is an impatient, inexperienced clown that cant seem to get shit done in D.C.

He also throws a ball like a girl.  His wife throws a ball pretty well tough.

Thats absurd! The media and scholars of higher education would never write something so subjective. Those objective accomplishments were just the start but must not fail to include his Noble Peace Prize for ending world violence.  Ending the dozens of wars started by that W guy. His providing free healthcare to 100s of millions in need for free all while allowing everyone the freedom to keep their doctors and not pay a dime for it. Single handedly bringing national unemployment to its lowest level in history despite 25 million less jobs. And most importantly, he gave the people the gift of all gifts, hope and change. Its a shame you can't see the true brilliance of this man and savior.
