Redirect error at a defunct horse porn site sent me here by mistake.  While I was here though I noticed a new art form called Haiku for Noory-san, the mystical yet illuminating nature of which keeps me coming back.

I used to be a big fan of the horse porn.  Not so much now... think I'm all horseporned out.

I'm onto the chubbies and the grannies right now. 

I wonder how people got their porn fix pre-internet.  In Britain you couldn't have any hard core porn pre-internet. It was all discreet modelling and, "whoops, mah titty fell outta my dress... isn't THAT arousing. Look... a titty!"  Then the internet, and suddenly it was an unregulated feast of everything from nun-rape to horse bondage... the immorality of it all.  It was like the Wild West in the early days, with unlimited, unregulated access to just the foulest, most illicit pornographic atrocities you could ever dare to imagine.

It was fantastic.

I forget what point I was reeling unsteadily towards, but lets just say horseporn gets a big thumbs up, even if it's somewhat passe these days.

BellGab is the only thing in my life where I am truly ignored.

In real life people like me and generally seem to want my company. I get lots of hugs from the ladies and plenty of fist bumps from the fellas.  The long haired guitar player/singers have it good.  But at the end of the day? I just want to be alone and eat a beaver.

One day, after listening to a particularly awful C2C show- I typed in Noory Sucks! and ended up here.  I've joined other forums, but this one, by far, has some of the smartest, funniest people I ever met on the internet. Sure, there are nasty arguments and a bit of name calling but I think you'll find that on most forums.

I rarely listen to a full C2C show, but I do enjoy the critiques and commentary posted here. Many of the other sections are also entertaining. This is one of the least moderated forums I've visited and I think the membership behaves remarkably well without needing a babysitter.

Well said!  Most forums are a waste of time, but BelllGab has become one of my guilty pleasures for all the reasons you mentioned.  It's always entertaining, and often enlightening.  And if you're not careful, you might just learn something!

Thanks- I think Bellgab is an excellent example of a "spin off" resulting from an established show eclipsing the show itself. C2C can't even come close to the quality of Bellgab as far as entertainment and informational value. Even threads where people go off the rails with bizarre or insane tangents are better than many C2C shows.

My friends late mother turned me on to Art Bell in what was the mid to late 90's, and I was hooked immediately. I gave George a chance, but he sucked so bad that one night I used my Google-fu to type in such lines as "fire George Noory", and "George Noory sucks" which eventually brought me here. I lurked for a while... and eventually couldn't resist chiming in on a subject that interested me along with like minded individuals. Plus the people here are as stated above are much smarter than your average forum users.

I would agree the people here are a bit smarter than most sites. I do like to learn though and some people on here do a good job putting out information. Others, it is like arguing with a 3 year old and it is easier to say You Win and move on!!1

I got to the point that I just hated listening to George Noory, and only listened when I really wanted to hear a certain guests here and there.

I watched Ancient Aliens from the beginning of the series, mostly because I liked the video footage of the places they went, and the artwork they covered.  Then I happened to be in the kitchen during a show and I hear that familiar voice garbling out some pointless comment, I went back to the living room and sure enough there was George Noory sucking on another show I liked.

I googled that well known 3 word phrase 'George Noory Sucks', and found that "The Original George Noory Sucks Thread" at GLP.  After a certain amount of back and forth drama, this ended up being the main site for George Noory commentary.

I am really glad people are telling their stories. I do not have the same views as some of the people who are on this site and thats ok. It is nice to see a different side of them without all the BS we tend to cause each other. I think it is a good thing to learn a little about each other. Hell who knows we might even learn to not be as hate full to each other as well!!1
