Ladies and germs,

as fun as this self-actualized naming thing has been, I'm going to return to my roots and remain there, as I've just noticed that fiddle-farting around with my moniker incessantly has consequences for the heinous and loathsome search function provided here. It barely lumbers along as it is and I frankly have no wish to break the site--it barely lumbers along as it is.

We'll always have Paris™.

So, no.  We may not completely dismiss the idea of an ancient Chinese secret society emerging like ascending locusts from the depths of Oklahoma City ...  to burn and pillage a modern day people whose ancestors enslaved David Caradine and others as railroad tinker train specialists.

Walk through OKC on any clear quiet day and a distinctly Asian hive hum is sensed beneath one's feet.

1. I stole it.

2. WordFag! is no more--I felt like it was diluting my brand.

I always get bummed when I see great 60s/70s bands in 80s garb.   :(

Me too. The 80s was the worst for that sort of thing. I even remember Will Ferrell doing a bit about it on SNL. It was a commercial for an album dedicated to that theme. I remember some of the copy was that they (bands that sold out in the 80s) entered a downward spiral from which they'd never escape.  :D

I know it's become a beloved album since but when ZZ Top's Eliminator came out I saw it as the biggest betrayal given their hard rock stuff previous to this. Everyone was selling out in the 80s though. I couldn't wait for the 90s! Fortunately, it came a little early starting around 87-88.  ;)

I still suspect some connection between donning those primary color blazers and bringing in cheesy keyboards.

I am not a fan of people continually  changing their username. Yes, I realize MV doesn't give a fuck about my opinion.
