No, the absolute racism comes out.
This is the tactic of the new left.
Racist, sexist, homophobe, bigot.
Those words trump any argument.

I detest Obama's throwback politics and his socialist economic policies.
I give no fucks whatsoever about his god damn skin color.

And our friend Ben doesn't really think you do, anyway. You guys wouldn't engage a troll who showed up here for the first time today. Why do so with a guy who's been around a while ?

No I think he does.  I have many friends on the left that think the same way.

The Rearend Jesse Jackass has made a career out of playing that "absolute racism" card.

Ben Shockley

stevesh -- thanks for calling me a troll and minimizing what I actually think.
"General" --  actual thanks at least for believing that I am real, no matter how bad you want to see me shot in the back of the head along with every other guy who knows how to wear a U.S. military uniform.
FitzPudrick, a/k/a McPhallus -- despite my earlier thinking that you had potential as someone to relate to, you never fail to fail.

Zircon

Ben, I actually feel sorry for you. And, unless I am mistaken, I feel sorry for the children you educate as I think both you and EvP (whatever her handle was/is) are both "educators". Now everyone around here thinks of me as an ass hole and that is OK - especially you.

The democratic party's platform has been nothing short of institutionalized racism since the progressive socialists fully took over in 1972. Blacks were promised this and that and instead of liberating them when the schools became integrated, the quality of education sought out the lowest common denominator and has been largely worthless ever since.  The blacks became government dependents. The schools became social experiments via edicts from Wash. DC and the teachers largely unionized human debris.

Now you scream and holler that those who oppose Obama's policies aren't being honest. You claim that we hate having a black man in the White House and we're blatantly racist. You revert to your collection of insults rather than carry on a discussion because you know you can't win in a discussion because it is obvious what a disaster this nation has become under this president.

You know, Obama isn't calling the shots. Do you actually think those who run this country and this planet are going to let somebody elected by the people no less come in and run this nation? He is a puppet just like Bush and most president's before him following Nixon.

Because a problem exists in that things have to be voted on here in this nation, he has exercised Executive Orders to circumvent the representatives of the people (congress). You and I will both agree I'm sure that congress couldn't really give a flying fuck about the people unless it is an election year and then they try to buy votes. It seems to work as the same rotten bastards seem to keep their seats as the years drag on. Also, congress hasn't passed a budget since Obama assumed power. And congress is the only body that can spend money.

So, it isn't that Obama is black or that we're racists. It is that he has shamed the office to the point to where he must be shown the door. The real challenge for Romney and Ryan, assuming they win the election, is (1) getting Obama to actually leave the White House (Israel-Iran, US-Syria ... convenient "national emergency" situations can jug up transitions) and (2) if he does actually leave willingly, being able to counter or confront those same persons, banks and other organizations who've done such a masterful job with Obama's presence as an effective Manchurian for our enslaving masters. So, not only are the clacks even more under the master on his plantation but so are we white folks now.

b_dubb

this is why America is in trouble: one side can't engage the other in meaningful debate without descending into insults and character assassination

Ben Shockley

b_dubb, can I get a pass for just being wistful  in my personal commentary on the guys?  I didn't attack anyone's family-loving abilities.

but watch this:
zircon, no, I am not an "educator," never claimed to be, although I taught in coll/univ  10~15 years ago.  You, though, are one far-out mo fo ~~

wow. let me count the crazy

the real problem is that voting for either candidate won't bring change. they are both puppets controlled by a puppeteer. I think the difference between the two candidates is that the string between the two candidates/puppets is that the string from the puppeteer's hand to the republican puppet is much shorter than the one that connects this particular democratic puppet. meaning ... the republican candidate's interests are much more closely aligned with big money than the democratic candidate's

More proof that irony and sarcasm is lost in here.  And why most of my posts are not appreciated (at best) or attacked (as usual).
No, "General," I didn't think you were military. That was MY POINT.

umm, well, that takes me, every time i click it, to a post of mine from july 26 in which i say the following:

Quote
actually, upon closer examination, i think stewart is right.  obama's "you didn't build that" quote IS being fucking taken out of context, and pretty blatantly, too.  here's the full quote, unedited:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YKjPI6no5ng#

when you see it in this context, he's clearly saying your business didn't build roads and infrastructure.  not that you didn't build your business.  romney would be wise to leave this alone, and i regret having posted it somewhere here earlier.

i do still believe obama is a marxist, however.

anything else?

I'll give zircon this much: he writes "democratic party," instead of the de rigeur way it's said by the Repubs: "DemocRAT party."  A Frank Luntz specialty.
I know you Repubs and b_dubb will hate me for it .... the Nazis produced films over laying and equating Jews with RATs... like the DemocRAT party: overlay it and say it, baby!!  Put them old people and vets and nig....sorry, I was just ahead of the game. It's actually the opposite.  The big corporations and their executives give much more to the Ds than to the Rs.  The big corps love high taxes and lots of regulations - they get their friends in office to put loopholes in for them while the taxes and regs are barriors of entry to any competitors.

The government is too big.  Way too much power and money flows to Washington DC.  What really needs to happen is to get rid of most of the programs and agencies and get back to where this fascist behemoth doesn't have so much power that bribes are required just to stay in business and the rest of us can keep our money instead if having it be wasted on politicians buying votes.

Here is a local story as an illustration.  Here in San Francisco they have a business tax on payroll.  This was said to be needed to get 'the big corporations' to 'pay their fair share'.  The big corporations either fled for the suburbs (Chevron) or have the cash and stay (Wells Fargo) and enjoy less competition (Bank of America left Calif completely).  Of course this tax falls disporportionally on small businesses - people that have enough trouble staying afloat anyway.

Along comes Twitter.  They want to stay in SF, but don't want to pay this payroll tax on the portion of their stock option gains that go on their W-2s and are taxed as wages.  They threaten to leave town.  So the City of SF exempts that payroll tax on their stock options.  So if someone has a hardware store or barber shop they get creamed with this tax, but the fatcats at Twitter don't - because having Twitter HQ in SF is 'cool', and because they throw a few bucks into re-election campaigns.

Just one little local story of greed and corruption.  Imagine what is going on in DC.

That is really a stretch, unless this is just the same old same old - the R's are Nazi's.  We get it already.

A better example is when the US media would refer to the USSR Politbureau members as 'Conservatives' during the Reagan administration.
