I understand that employers regularly get resumes with mention of how many FB friends interviewees have. I guess the next paradigm will be here when employers actually start to figure that into their evaluations.

If you've got something to promote, Facebook is great for that, but only if you're doing it directly on your profile. Those "like" pages of theirs are basically worthless.

I don't know if friend count had anything to do with it, but I've gotten gigs that I assume came from "friends" looking at my Facebook profile.

LOL Oh, it was the Philadelphia experiment guy! My degree is in Medical Science Chemistry, but I have been manufacturing inkjet cartridges for 20 years! LOL...strange where your degree takes you...

I actually didn't mind when you talked a little politics. I like hearing about current events and your views. Doesn't need to be the whole show but I think you have something to add as the mainstream media "doesn't get it".

Yeah, I like that too. The first ten minutes of every show were always a lot of fun. And listening to them a decade or two later is like unpacking a time capsule. I don't think I get that feeling from any other show.

Probably that he wanted the kick that you provided... In all honesty, I got a chuckle out of it. A good show and he was a funny guy, in a way, about how 'people now' think animals are friendly Disney-types but,really, they all want to kill us. I recall during the show Art mentioning a mountain lion he saw that spanned the whole road (two-lane) as it crossed, which would make it really, really huge. Don mentioned that perspective changes at night etc but still a big cat!
