All this banter of Lisa Lyon brings to mind that segment of the "Into the Hollow Earth" show Art did with Dallas Thompson.

Art asked Thompson on the air if he had talked with Lyon about all the things he was mentioning, and Thompson had responded, in a nutshell with a no.

Thompson was an absolute nut, and clearly Lyon didn't have her ducks in a row.

Slack, under-performers unable to differentiate an ass from an elbow.

No wonder Bell wound up not wanting anything to do with the dog and pony show that become Coast.

I heard she's pretty HOTT.
She better be, with that porn star name.

It's sad that the "producer" of Art's old show would brush off a simple request to stop using his name. She has her current job because Art created that show. How disrespectful.

Anyone else find it strange how they hold onto Art? Why do they keep playing SIT shows and mentioning Art's name? SIT just keeps reinforcing how inept George is, and why keep mentioning Art?

Art has mentioned in the past that Premier are still holding out hope that he returns to Coast on a part time basis.  I can't remember exactly where I heard or read that.

No idea why but when I try to copy and paste it messing up the font size. anyway click on the image and you can see it. Looks like noory is taking a shot at Art again. I responded by telling him George is during a life show so he is either a liar by saying all rude emails are sent by him or he has quit paying attention on his show.

Bwhahahahahaha....darkeditor..LMAO..you can't really think people are going to take you seriously with a name like that? Right?

Yep! Premiere is like that person who is absolutely awful yet totally infatuated with you-- maybe you gave them a chance years ago, but now you can't stand it anymore and just want them gone.

Also this: if Art is so "closed minded," then WHY are his SIT shows still performing so well?

And does "open minded" mean you'll just sit there and sprinkle in random comments while a guest prattles on?

Using Art's name on C2C is like using Febreze to make an oozing, rotting corpse smell better for a few minutes.  It is a pitiful attempt to equate the "essence of Art" to the nullified show that exists under Noory now.

This too.  Only...is Knapp able to escape the clutches of Premiere and do this?
Michael Savage recently won this case in Federal Court freeing him from his agreement. It could possibly apply to the Knapster or even Art. Savage lives in California where non-competes are basically illegal.

I find the poll at the end amusing. Out of the 1,600 some odd votes cast (as of this writing), George Noory narrowly edges out Rusty Humphries on 'who has the best perspective on the issues' with a whooping 6 votes.

As revealed in an October 18, 2013 email response by Coast to Coast AM producer, Lisa Lyon, to listener Adam A. Russell:

“Hi Adam,

I am impressed by your indignant attitude and your fierce loyalty to Art Bell. Well done! More people should have your passion. The world would be a better place if people were like you and came to the defense of those who are being maligned by bullies. You are a good man.

So, you are disgusted by the evil, stupid destroyer, George Noory, correct? You stand on the moral high ground here, right?

Art Bell comes out of retirement again to poach listeners from Coast to Coast AM because he does not like that George Noory does not ask the kind of follow up questions that he would. Okaaaaaay. The world is churning and this is what you are all worked up over? Ghost hunters and talk show hosts? Yikes.

Art Bell is a big boy who has been attacking our show and George Noory for years. He has thrown down the gauntlet and has told the world he is back on for revenge and to hurt our show. How noble.

Art wants to take us down, yet cries foul when he is out maneuvered. Would you give somebody who was out to hurt you the benefit of the doubt? Of course not. This is business and we are servicing OUR listeners and OUR sponsors not our competitors.

Fight the good fight, man.

Lisa Lyon, Producer"

Not sure if one should give credence to the source of this purported email from Ms. Lyon.  "Zionist controllers?"

Lol, Art Bell is C2C. I would call this lady a real nasty four letter name that begins with c and ends with t, but I am too old and mature to use this adjective any more ;)

AZZERAE

What's so fucked up is that Noory phones in to the Spec Sheet (all those months ago) and kisses Bell's ass, countless times. His old "I'm a good guy" routine.

Then Lyon goes on to maintain that business is business in her email [above], detailing that Bell "cries foul when he is out maneuvered". Something doesn't add up.

Noory wants to give off the impression that he has respect for Bell... however, the actions of Coast's two-bit staff say faaar different.

At least Bell's got the cojones to express his intense dislike for Noory. Noory's BS is clearly a front.

I'm sure there are many, many reasons for Bell's beef with the Coast circus (reasons we've never been aware of, aside from the obvious ones). Things we may never know.

And I HOPE (and trust!) that Bell will spill the proverbial beans on all the horseshit he's had to shovel by doing show after show to both the Premiere and Sirius' network terms. I believe there are things he wants to say, but didn't get much chance to toward the end of his career. But maybe I'm wrong... who knows?

McZippie

All very interesting, but as I read this thread, the same thought keeps recurring. Not much business accumens are being expressed by anyone, including Art.

Yeah, she is a coot.

It's quite simple why the keep mentioning Art's name and playing SIT.  It pisses Art off. And he bites every time. When he gets mad he is put off his game. Look at what happened during the Sirius fiasco through poachgate, Norry's postings on Bell Gab, the David John Oats (or whatever his name is) incident. We know how that ended. Art must see the writing on the wall re: July. As far superior as his talent is to George he can not possibly do any damage to the C2CAM juggernaut and that would have to stick in his craw. It would kill him to know that they are laughing at his little podcast.

Eddie Coyle

Tony D Tiger would be a better producer than Lisa Lyin'. What an absolute cesspool C2C is.

Not only that, but as long as they pretend he's somehow still associated with Coast, they can capitalize on the cachet the show would not otherwise have. Art's name is still a draw.

All the more reason to turn C2C off permanently. I really dislike what George and his staff have done to the show and how they treat Art.

I'm hopelessly naive about the radio business, but I wonder if there's a way to turn the tables on PR and Co. What if Art's return (in whatever media he chooses) was not at all about George, PR, C2C, revenge or anything of a negative nature from Art or his audience. What if Art came back just for the love of what he does so, so well. What if Art was able to reconnect with his audience and attract a new generation to his style of radio. Media is full of fake shows and people that drive the quality down. Sure, George and Co. could laugh at it but it would just shine a light on what they really are- no class, talentless drones. Art could take control of his own destiny and choose to shut them out. I'd pay a subscription to listen to Art and I'm sure many more would, too. It would be nice to see some of the better quality guests interviewed by Art. I suspect that they would run the risk of being banned from C2C. Any attempts at sabotage by George and Co would reflect badly on them. Not sure if this is realistic but PR and George seem to enjoy chewing on this old bone, it would be nice to see Art take it away from them. The best revenge would be a happy Art and audience.

Yes! I hope this is the background thinking behind creating a network that not only profits and supports Art Bell alone, but also creates a radio platform that is inimical to the charlatans who keep the advertisers happy. Our programming isn't created by fear-frothing. Quite the contrary ... and the contrary isn't as profitable. Thus the need to band together and float in the wake of the big Art.

That's probably the only thing stopping George from choking while spitting out Art's name while gnashing his teeth. I wonder how much mouth wash he has to use after that each night.

Thank you for articulating what I just couldn't put into words!

Spot on.

Hi all here is a update,

Here is the way I see things: Starting in late July Dark Matter makes a return five nights a Week
from 9PM-12AM P.T. on DMRN. The Stream will be at a higher bit rate and FREE to all.

As I mentioned a Producer is needed and it looks like we have found a really good one, Paul will
also be able to assist.

I will be depending on all of YOU as well as my FB followers to spread the word far and wide on
Social Media. A blitz if you will, BUT not yet, it's still too early, but I will give you all the word, we don't
need magazine's and we sure do not need AM radio to spread the word, Social media has far more
power, I have seen what YOU can do.

We will start building the Studio in March or so and as I have mentioned I will absorb the cost
myself. This will be a labor of love because I do dearly love Talk Radio. There will only be enough content
from anything else to give myself a short break every hour, or put another way, almost no commercials.

There are other very exciting aspects of what this show will have, but again it is simply too early to give
away what is coming. Trust me it is exciting.
