Happy belated Birthday and Father's Day to Art.  I saw this. I wonder if whomever is in charge of Art's estate has thought about something similar?  You can apparently buy Jim Marrs's desk.

Art would have been 73 today, if he’d held off dying a couple of months.

73s, Art.

Glad you are enjoying it!
People thought it was a joke when I first announced it but many more than I expected have been tuning in.

"He was a living legend at the time" - Noory.

Snoory expanded what Art created? Yeah right. If anything, Coast's listenership went down during the days of Jorch.

I'm sorry, but come on.

And now he's just a legend.

I'm surprised that the latest brother stair controversy has not entered this forum. I figure at least a few would know shortwave.

I don't believe they do not have an autopsy report after more than 2 months have passed. Very suspicious.

So what if he DID commit suicide?

WTF does that change in this world?

Anything?

At all?

Same here.  I remember scanning through shortwave on my portable radio one late evening in the early 2000's and coming across an Alex Jones Show broadcast.  I was pretty surprised at the time because I thought he was internet-only.

Yep.  It will be one less thing to be curious about.  It’s called closure.  Doesn’t necessarily apply only to those who were close to him, but for the rest of us who have been listening for years, it’s just one less thing to speculate about.

If it's public information, there's a reason for that and we're entitled to it.

Of all the BS we heard from Art, it would be nice to have something we can actually believe at the end

It's been many years since I've heard the voice of Alex Jones. I didn't realize he'd become a snake oil salesman.

Time to review the seller and the shipping method chosen.

Sad to say, the Henderson/Green Valley Ranch library had agenerically-autographed copy for the taking and I passed it by... Listening to him read it was cool though, thanks to Keith about that.

Oh no, I'm borrowing it from a library that turned out to be a really busy one.

It has always struck me as interesting that Art not only died on a Friday 13th, but also managed to make it past his 12th wedding anniversary by 2 days. Homage to Airyn? Coincidence?
