I'm a huge Elvis fan, and wish Knapp would have been the one to do this interview... and not Jorch. The guy could pull of a decent one if he tried.

Yeah. Me too. My brother was in Memphis and snuck into the cemetery to watch the funeral.  He was escorted out of the cemetery but he was able to see a bit of the service.  The body of Elvis was reinterred later at Graceland.

This guy Xavient us an absolute mistake of a guest. He talks like an underdeveloped 14-year-old, very awkward and not well spoken at all. And Gary keeps throwing to him to try to get him in the conversation. What a train wreck. Now he brings up Tupac... Just go back to your couch please.

He hears something, looks it up on Wikipedia, waits for the guest to take a breath, and then blurts it out whether it's still relevant or not.  George has mentioned how much easier it is now to look things up during an interview, but it certainly makes for poor hosting when it becomes an excuse for being intellectually lazy.

And Jorch is so obviously not listening to whatever the guest was saying before he blurts out his "find" on Wikipedia.

For a guy who claims to respect others, he sure is rude to his "guests."

Guest/author announced that his book has "lotsa pitchers."

yes you could tell  that Jorch was looking up the life of James Dean when the guest was trying to come up with the year and placed he died.....Jorch wants  everyone to think he has got this all down by memory.

Jorch is furiously googling the Colonel and now believes the guest are talking about Colonel Sanders

Actually I heard that Elvis liked to play a lot of racquetball in the 70's.  he had his own private court.  So he was not totally inactive.

1968-Elvis thin
1970- Elvis gets a bit fat
1972-73 - Elvis is thinner
1977 - Fat Elvis then Dead Elvis

I'm surprised he hasn't read an entry on "Colonel Angus."

Tupac is not even in the same class as Elvis or Lennon.  He had 2 top ten hits and I could care less if I ever hear them again.  I totally agree with you about Xaviant.  What the fuck kind of name is that anyway?

Along with his mother who was also buried there at Forest Hill in Memphis which isn't far from Graceland, but fans wouldn't have left Elvis grave alone. Now they are all at peace on the grounds of Graceland... and watching the cam during Elvis week is unreal with all the fans and music playing. Here is Paul's doppelganger at his grave with a guitar pic.

That was a funny movie though Bruce Campbell didn't really do a very good impersonation of Elvis, he at least captured the essence of the man.  Ossie Davis  as "JFK" was great in that film in one of his last roles.

Now Jorch and Tommy are going at it. Going way down.

Elvis - Way Down

This was my first Elvis record.

Ossie made the movie what it was by playing the roll as straight as possible, and Bruce was pretty damn good too. Now everyone is hoping for the sequel Bubba Nosferatu to be made... but I don't know if they could top what they did even of with Paul Giammati as Colonel Parker.

I haven't listened to most of the show, thank goodness, because I'm sure I would have been mentally slapping George many times!  He really, really doesn't seem to have any control of his tongue at all.

Tell me again how it is that he gets paid half a mil to be a radio host on what used to be the best radio show on the air.  :P

the wig gets $499,999. noory gets a dollar.

Sadly though Elvis's idea of eating healthy was to eat jell-o by the bucketful.

CornyCrow

I listen only occasionally.  Noory is supposed to be an experienced host - yet he makes trainee mistakes.  The other day, and I've heard him comment this way before, the guest says something regarding the audience and yours truly responds with 'Yes, they eat this stuff up'.

This distances Noory from the audience and makes him seem like a huckster who considers his audience fools.  It tells us what he really thinks of us, having little respect for us, his listeners.  It sounds insulting, even if it may not be the intention.

According to the net, he makes about $500k and his net worth is 2 million.  You would think, with that salary, he'd have saved more, but maybe those figures are not accurate.

It's a confirmation that even in Wikipedia there is a quote from a reviewer that reiterates many of the Noory criticisms made on this forum.

It must be heartbreaking for Art to see his baby be dragged down so much.  The Premiere Network certainly does not seem to have profit as it's main goal, first pushing a Tea Party agenda and then putting up with this clown host whose evidently chief attribute is following orders.

Nick el Ass

Noory is part of a package deal, and that is the only reason he has the number of affiliates that he has... and A caller recently brought up the fact that Art was responsible for most of the hard work getting the show to where it is to which Noory simply replied "That was a long time ago."

The first thing I saw when I clicked on the C2C site was a picture and link that said "15 celebrities who married their cousins."

Say what you want about the Noo(ry) crew, but they do know their audience.

I often get an add for "15 famous people you didn't know were black"   Apparently the coast audience is very concerned about undercover brothers

I'd like to see an an ad for "15 celebrities you didn't know were bald", with noory's stupid face on the link

This documentary answers a lot of questions ....... the JFK mystery has finally been solved, and insect/crop damage is addressed also.

Tonight's Show
Mass Delusions/ Open Lines
Friday - March 06, 2015

I can only assume that the first half of this will be Jorch, Tommy and the rest of the crew reminiscing about how amazing it is to create such a wonderful show night after night...

I tried to find a silver lining in the the shows they "have" posted for next week. I can't, I just can't.
I quite literally am shocked at how bad they are getting.

We are finally in the Year of Our Snoorge 2015

2015 pages of suck... surely that's a record of some kind. Jorchy deserves a trophy.
