Apolitical Pharmacology: From Altruism to Terrorism in Psychedelic Culture

A well done article attempting to explain how one can be an acid devotee, which indicates social liberalism, but like me, have conservative leanings. Many of the individuals discussed in the article are people that I am, or was close to.

Interesting though the author of the article clearly has a political slant. I think it is stupid to assume political, religious, or whatever opinions simply because of some substance(s) they might use or have used. Or where they live, who their friends are, their jobs, etc. I'm sure there are people on every spectrum who drink coffee (and those who don't.) Sure heuristics, stereotypes, etc are used and often can be correct for many situations but the idea that every individual's beliefs can be identified or must agree with, like some kind of checklist, based on how they vote, where they live, their race/ethnicity, or substance(s) used is wrong. Individuals aren't something you can just put in a box but can change over time, hold sometimes conflicting (or apparently conflicting) views or beliefs, and are different from everyone else. And one might not even be able to know their real opinions and beliefs in a culture of political-correctness, social sanction, group-think, etc.

Matt Laurer Fired!  Surely we’re in the end times and we’re all gonna die.  (And no, I’m not calling you Shirley.)

I never liked Lauer.  Another case of liberal gross hypocracy.

Now what?

It's under 10 minutes. Live dangerously and take a chance on being red pilled.  ;)

The thrust of this piece is that modern billionaires are a dime a dozen.  I thought as much!  Mere paupers when compared to the Rothschilds.

Magicians really only have one trick and it's misdirection.  ;)

Garrison Keillor fired for God’s Sake.  The Apocolypse is upon us for sure.

Keillor was pretty much the last person on my list of revealed bad touchers. We should start a pool.

Walmart pulls t-shirt saying "Rope. Tree. Journalist. SOME ASSEMBLY REQUIRED"

I really don't think they could've captured the current zeitgeist more accurately.  :D

Up All Night

Read the very detailed Buzzfeed article and see the ridiculous Pelosi posturing in all this.

https://www.buzzfeed.com/paulmcleod/she-complained-that-a-powerful-congressman-harassed-her?

How the $27,111.75 "Payout" was "managed".

In this case, one of Conyers’ former employees was offered a settlement, in exchange for her silence, that would be paid out of Conyers’ taxpayer-funded office budget. His office would “rehire” the woman as a “temporary employee” despite her being directed not to come into the office or do any actual work, according to the document. The complainant would receive a total payment of $27,111.75 over the three months, after which point she would be removed from the payroll, according to the document.

Scarborough losing his shit over Trump again.  Rave on Joe but I don’t believe a dead woman with a head injury was ever found in Trump’s office.

So crazy it just might work. In any event it would be hilarious. Randy's antics and conspiracy theories against Bernie's (which some, like the DNC and Hillary sabatage are true.) And Randy's? Considering what is going on in Hollywood maybe there really is a hit-squad out there? I might actually watch a 'reality' show if this happens.

Some very powerful people representing a super pac have approached me about running against Bernie Sanders for senator. 100%

I'd vote for him! He's a great actor and was obviously onto something (besides drugs) before most of us about Hellywood.
