Not calling it quits, on hiatus as she moves to Arizona to take over a few radio stations out there that are run by an ailing friend. She'll be back, and maybe doing her show on regular radio again. She just talked about this last night

In case anyone cares, and I don't know that any of you do, lol I emailed with Rollye not too long ago. No return date yet but she is coming back and has made her move to Arizona successfully. She was starting to wire the studio when we last talked. So that's what I got and I will continue to update in case people do care. (And you should care, because Rollye is a whole lot of fun!

For those you who don't listen to the Spec Sheet, I gave a Rollye update last night. We emailed last week and she was working on finishing the studio and the phones. So I suspect sometime in the next few weeks. I'll continue to post updates as I get them.

Oh Treading, I am always out here but know I miss you bunches!I just haven't had time to listen to gabcast or spec sheet. I might tonight after I do my show. And now I narrow my eyes and look around as I know from Friday night's show that Rollye is out here, lurking among us. Wait, I already knew that, I just don't know her secret identity. Anyway, it's called Velvet Heaven Podcast! You can find it on www.rollye.net under the links sections. Trying to stay on topic.

I'm doing two this week. A normal me type show and another Soul Mix because Rollye loved the last one I did for her.

I also am pondering calling the spec sheet tonight if that happens. I missed gab cast because I passed out after swimming last night. But rest assured, like Rollye I lurk among you, just sometimes I pass out before I can lurk!

I am sure I have done that! Rollye is on at 9PM eastern this week as Arizona does not change times! Call and have some fun. I sure do!

In other news I intend on at least listening to gabcast next time as well as joining the chat room.

Rollye is only doing trivia Friday nights 10-12EST or until she is done with her bank of callers. You can, however talk about anything you like with her and I suggest you do that.

I'm listening to her Christmas show with "Mr. QVC" Steve Bryant who can also write some music! Pretty good show about commercialism, online shopping etc. I'm only an hour in though. No PBS call-in yet

Rollye has a nice, easy practiced interview style. It's a nice show

Rollye has a near encyclopedia knowledge of radio over the past fifty years. One of us can mention some podunk radio station, she immdiately can tell you the history of the station, format/call letter changes over the years, and name a couple generations worth of on-air personalities. Ever better are the behind-the-scene, "you gotta be shitting me" stories she can relate about those stations/personalities. She is one of the most relaxed, natural broadcasters I've ever heard. She is very bright, quick-witted, and calls a spade a fucking shovel when doing so is called for. PBS did me a good turn in sending me Rollye's way.

Well if I don't find the coastgab stream and this forum I never find Rollye. So I'm thankful for this place daily. You're welcome. She's on NYE and NYD this week.
