Ah, there's no point in giving people tips about nailing jello to the wall!

I enjoyed it for the "amok time" that it was and think this has been one of Johnny B's best shows.  Maybe there's an Art Bell "trickle down effect"?

It seems like the calls are better when Wells hosts the show. The tales usually are more coherent and less depressing.

I'm still reading this thing, it's here if anybody else wants to: http://www.truthaboutmatrix.com/index.php?option=com_phocadownload&view=category&download=1:rico-the-sophia-stewart-story-the-truth-about-the-matrix-terminator-movies&id=1:documents&Itemid=80

The words "naked and without shame" are used roughly 4,000 times.

That's pretty much the only similarity to her story and TERMINATOR.  Only, apparently EVERYBODY in her story is "naked and without shame," not just the killer robots from outer space.  By that logic, every porn flick ever made was ripped off by James Cameron to create TERMINATOR.

He listens and responds.  Good pace.  Purrs.

Or every porn movie made since whenever ripped her off!  What a riot!

G'night all.  Nice chatting.  Big day tomorrow.

Naked and Without Shame. This is what I strive for on a daily basis. Also the names of the imaginary twin sisters of my teenage fantasies.

It is but I'm selling/donating mine cuz I just don't use it.  Freaks me out to be up against the big cars and trucks all by myself.

Yeah, I could see that.

The last few callers are killing me. Ask the fucking question or make the damn point already!

I'm wishing Wells kept her on for the whole show, her story is so hilarious and weird.  Instead all he could do was breathe heavily and express excitement about a proposed MATRIX 4 theme park attraction.  Even Noory would've done a better interview.

I don't think I've heard a guy (or gal) make breathing an integral part of the show as much as unWells does.  It was out of control. Maybe a double or triple windscreen on his microphone would help to reduce those annoying noises. Or not. Light 'em up if you got 'em.

Good luck. Try and approach it naked and without shame!

This is why most of the nudist colonies in the 60's have faded away. Naked and Without shame in your 20's and 30's is OK.
But Naked and without Shame in your 60's and 70's is pretty scary :o :-\ Jurrasic Park for real, Yikes!

I know a elderly woman who recently passed away who looked just like this.. So I hesitate making much mockery of the actual appearance. But my God he looks like a deceased elderly woman..

I know the pics on the c2c website are supposed to show you at your best but those have to be around 20 year old pics.

That show with Ms. Stewart was the final straw for me. I could not believe it when John B announced this charlatan as being an upcoming guest, and I really can't believe no one vetted her BS before it even got to that point. NOTHING about any of her stories hold up to even the most basic scrutiny and listening to her makes me wonder if she is a conwoman or simply delusional. Seriously, just typing her name into google reveals this: http://www.snopes.com/politics/business/matrix.asp

The guests and the shows have just fallen completely off the cliff. It's like Premiere knows the jig is up starting tonight and they've already raised the white flag.

New to the forum.

I couldn't believe they let this lady on.  Clearly a nut and her story has been repeatedly debunked. Don't they do research on this stuff?

Do you remember when Art had that guest on claiming to know and work with Billy Meier.  Art called him on the carpet as a fraud and ended the interview midway through the hour.  I thought for sure John B would have dropped her at the bottom of the hour.

Jeez, how many meds do you think she was on?

I love Art because he calls people out everytime.

How many meds?  Clearly not enough! lol!

When I first heard John B on C2C, I think his voice pulled a warm fuzzy nostalgia out of me, and liked him right off the bat. Problem is, the more I listened to him, the more I realized either he was A- bad at picking guests and topics, or B- he, as a host, had no control over either points of A- . That damn show sucks the life out of any host, making it impossible to put on a proper coast show. But alas, Art has returned, and it just doesn't matter anymore.. Perhaps John B will get his own show together, and ill give him another chance. Anything to do with coast is not worth listening to, unless snoory has another frozen food encounter and tells the world about it lol.

I told my wife about the pizza pocket incident, to which she replied "he talked about this on the show? as in live broadcast!!??" I love that woman  :-*

Tinfoil Hat

You know, now that you mention it, Dave's pizza roll story was probably his best show in years...

I liked Wells too. His voice brought some old C2C nostalgia out of me. He even asked some interesting questions. However, the more I listened the less intelligent he seemed and the more fear mongering he seemed. Suddenly the intelligent questions came off as absent minded, vague, and it seemed as if he and the guest were talking about different things. Then I noticed he seemed to bill his shows towards things he could sell on his personal website.

Luckily I can admit I was wrong about someone and now see him as an unintelligent, vague, who does no prep work, no research, can't follow his guest or his guest can't follow him, tries to peddle his wares (moreso than I have ever seen by any radio program by far), and uses fear as a tool to remain relevant. BUT he has a nice radio voice!

Mysstryss

I don't understand the people complimenting Mr. Wells' voice. Clearly he is obsessed with the affectation of his own voice. I have only listened to him a few times, but when he comes out of commercial he drops it super, almost painfully low. Once he gets to babbling his pitch fluctuates up and down and then goes to a more "normal" deep tone. It drives me nuts.

yumyumtree

RedMichael pretty much sums up my feelings about Wells too.

And I'd like to emphasize that perpetrating conspiracy theories is damned irresponsible, unless you have really good evidence and have given the possible ramifications some thought.

Although Wells is an extreme example, there are plenty of other talk show hosts if all kinds who do it. Listen carefully and you'll notice. Well, you probably have.  Bellgabbers know their radio.

Jerome Corsi is now making the rounds with a new Kennedy conspiracy book. What is to be gained by this, except $ for Corsi? Most of the principles are dead now.

You do know that Art has Richard Hoagland on tomorrow, right?

LMAO!
Wells did, at least, cut her off early on - even if he used the sketchy phone connection excuse.  I'm not certain he has complete control over who his guests are, and at least once wasn't informed that a guest was a no-show until he got ready to do the show.

And your point is what exactly? You can take or leave Hoagland at your discretion, it matters none to me. This Stewart lady is an entirely different league. This isn't even an apples and oranges type comparison; it's more like apples and hand grenades. They gave airtime to a lady who has been making claims that she won a case that anyone can check to see was dismissed years ago. I can't prove what is or is not on Mars or the moon, but I can damn sure tell that this lady is no "prolific writer" (one short story and a "new book" that's a 130 page piece of fan fiction written like a high school play in three decades is not prolific) and she did  not create Terminator or The Matrix. Those are provable claims and they were refuted long ago.

Wells is not a bad guy.......and, I have never questioned his intelligence.

However, it is the SAME OLD %$#*(%!!   Last night:  Grab yer' guns......it's the end of the world!  RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!

I tried, but had to turn him off.......as do many others who can't take the fear mongering, gun talk, conspiracy, end of the world topics..........over and over and over and over.....

Wells will never change so one listens or, if it's Friday night.........rushes to the SIRIUS RADIO and listens to ART BELL!
