Is there a mycologist in the house?  A couple of these little goomers popped up out some cedar mulch in my yard a few weeks ago and disappeared a couple of days later.  They looked like little dollops of meringue, and it's the first time I've ever seen them.  Anybody know what they are?  Thanks!

A new report by Bloomberg cites, a new study in the Journal of Psychopharmacology which "found that smokers who had long had trouble quitting their habit managed to remain smoke-free for six months using a highly unorthodox method: Consuming the active ingredient in magic mushrooms".

Rainy day. Just got in and decided to start the tv series 'Under The Dome.' Haven't read the book and not sure what to make if it.

Btw. Stephen King lives here. He has a home here on Casey Key. Duma Key takes place here.  5 times I've just missed him. He's always around at coffee shops, book stores, art galleries. I will be leaving a place and he'll turn up there an hour later. Or, I'll stop in and he just left. He's very nice, down to earth as I've been told by friends. Sometimes he will hang out in Barnes and Noble in his section.
