Brilliant! Best Video I'll see today I'll wager! Thanks  :D
I once saw two videos of the... uniqueness of Indian cinemas. Too bad I've never found them again.

Have this though:

2030 India

I'm not sure what to say. Was it satire? Was it a scathing rebuke of rich white people? I just don't know. Hmmm. Well, they better get to crackin' because 2030 is only 13 years away.  ;)

While I have India's attention, I'd like to say hi to "Mary", "David" and "Sam" in the Virgin Mobile call center there! Great job team! I totally believed those were your real names!

Are we alone? NASA to reveal tantalizing discoveries Thursday

NASA on Thursday will unveil its latest discoveries about ocean worlds in our solar system "and the broader search for life beyond Earth."

The briefing will provide information gleaned from the Cassini spacecraft and Hubble Telescope, NASA says. The agency says the new discoveries will help "inform future ocean world exploration" â€" including NASA’s upcoming Europa Clipper mission planned for launch in the 2020s.

I want close up pics of the technology left by previous civilizations there. Can't we get an imaging panel together or something?  :-\

Today my aunt skype texted me "Its Omnibus Day" and I said "No way, they passed the budget already?" We went in circles of confusion for a few minutes until she explained that Omnibus was the senior citizens bus, and I was referring to a congressional bill that is in parts and passed all at once. (i.e. Omnibus Budget Bill) We do talk politics a great deal.  So, a new word for the day...

Food for thought: Why does a society that condones and even promotes abortion have such a fixation on preventing suicides?

Do you have stats to back up your claims on this proclamation?
Do you have stats for any group of people with a disease that votes one way or another?
I was unaware of that specific demographic.

Hoppy Eostre to you, TL! I'd put my hands together for your entertaining and informative seasonal parade, but that's impossible to do at the moment because I decided to spend the weekend just hanging around the way Jesus did. Cheers!

Make sure she stays away from New Orleans or she'll put on weight.

I'm really not a church-going type, in spite of training in my formative years.  As has become my most religious habit at the conclusion of Lent each year I opt to sleep in and mow the lawn and generally fart around as I do so well.

I woke up this morning from my drunken stupor and wished myself and Jesus a happy Easter, immediately I was abashed that I had bothered the Dude on this such a busy day for Him;  who am I to just say howdy on such a busy morning when He's busy running around helping the poor and abused and such?  I immediately apologized and gave some thanks for His time and half jokingly asked/said he could "walk beside me as I mow the lawn" (in my flip-flops and thong while I push the reel mower, bad idea that, I digress..), IF He had the time as I was doing fine "How are yew?", or we could catch up later &c.. I was again properly chastened by my evil thoughts and smiled a bit anyhow.

Thinking the matter closed, and all due processes dealt with I proceed to drink my morning coffee at 1300 while surveying and planning my weekly Sunday mission.  Remembering that I have dogs and that it rained last night I decided to "police" the yard before doing my Lawnmower man routine {I like to pretend that the crabgrasses are godless heathens that I am lawing down the lawn to as eye give them last rites, preaching the whole thyme to them that I am both god and the lawn prophet.  I enjoys my sacrelige, don't judge me.. } nothing worse than hitting your stride only to slip in some "slick shit" or have that accursed twig bring the workings to a sudden and surprising halt.

I want to get this lawn mowing business done before heading off to my secondary target of a Family dinner @ 1800 this evening, things are going swimmingly with the foundational prep-work for my weekly sermonizing of the greens when I find some silver (I think) shining brightly in the sun.  It was Suficiently random that I felt the need to share.

The attached pic is a recreation and therefore allegorical in nature and should not be taken to have any meaning (as I immediately snatched up the treasure, after a millisecond of sober reflection).

I must say that this mornin's post alluvial Easter Egg hunt was both enlightening and enriching.

That is all, Carry On!

Hey, does the search function kick everyone out to Google, instead of an on site search ? I don't run JS so maybe I'm not seeing the 'Search This Site ' option.  I know there are a couple of Astronomy threads around here somewhere.

MV changed the search function to google to save 600+mb on disk space and unload the overhead of indexing to the google servers.

Yes, it's all a Google thingy now.  MV made a post about it, recently, but I forgot where I read it.

Guess I'll have to use search, lol.   ;D ;D ;D
