He's been doing rock legends the last couple shows.

Has he done a show on Stonehenge yet?   :D

WTF happened on Friday? Syrett was talking RnR and stuff and was about to get into "Crossroads" and Robert Johnson and then Norry pops up and he is talking NASA with some guest?

Ha. Ok. Norry over and Syrett came back. Yep. That is some bad hoodoo to get Norry to take over your show. Listening to the recorded show so a day behind. Was hoping openlines happen, basically, the rock stories are the same old, same old stuff.

I enjoy Syrett.

Have you heard his new conspiracy podcast?

Yes, love it.

I never realized how far on the right fringe Richard seems to be. At least based on some of his early episodes.

Richard also does a weekly rock podcast. Like his conspiracy one, it's more of an overview/sampler show, but can be pretty thought-provoking.

Finns have Denisova DNA according to Saturday's guest, no other Europeans have it. Where is "Bill from Madison" to call in and discuss?  :(

Last night's guest read prepared answers to the bulk of Syrett's questions.  Sounded like Syrett found the guy as annoying as I did.

Looks like more time than usual for Syrett, which is a good thing since it should mean less of Church, Willis, Lee Cigar, and/or Jorch. It would be nice if the fill-in hosts were just Syrett, Punnett, and Knapp.

I'm not at all a Punnett or Knapp fan, but I AM a Syrett fan.  I'm looking forward to tonight!    :)

Punnett can be a self-obsessed ass but at least he's not a completely incompetent host or total Noory boot-licker.  Lee Cigar sounds like an NPR host on Valium, Willis comes across as a giggling airhead, and, Church, gads, that slimeball should be doing used car sale commercials at 3 in the morning on OTA TV.

I think I've only listened to one C2C in the past 5 years or so, because of the topic.  It must not have impressed me, because I don't even remember what the topic was.  I hope to listen more often, now, when Syrett is on.

Yes, Finns have that typical Melanesian look.

I would have settled for AAA Bill from West Hartford.  It's been awhile since he's reminded us he's an atheist.  Maybe he's hitting the booze once again and found God.

Thanks for the reminder! I like Syrett and China is, contrary to what the "news" says, the biggest threat. They consider themselves the "Middle Kingdom" and these latest few centuries of Western dominance an aberration. They also have almost zero human rights views, a history due to famine/conflict a natural tendencies for "the greater good," and a centrally-planned system that, although corrupt, thinks long term- not just "next quarterly report" or "next election cycle." As well as policies related to protecting their people and prosecuting minorities or dissentors. Will listen. But on replay since deep into the recent Alex Jones deposition tapes.....   ;)

Syrett used this song as a bumper last night. Previously unknown by me. Something about the mood of it- I like it very much.
