According to the Drudge Poll, Tulsi ran away with it. Mostly because of her anti-war stance, I assume. I didn't catch the whole debate tho.
Of course this is just Day 1.

The entire reaction to her here is very authentic because she is the real deal..too real for the DNC, in fact. No way she makes it through. No, they’ll either pick some hopeless socialist or some tired old estsblishment elitist like creepy uncle Joe. You heard it here on Bellgab first.  ;)

Does it matter to get interested, until they are finalized?  Will any excitement have any practical effect on outcomes?  Asking for a sincere person.

If I were a Democrat, she'd be my choice. I'd trust her with the nuclear football far and away over any of the other candidates. She doesn't come across as a politician. She comes across as smart, and she seems to have a level-headed view of the world and the way of things. Plus she's hot.

Nah. I was an activist for many years when I was a young Zenman. No amount of excitement about it will produce anything constructive. It'll turn out however it turns out, like the weather does. Just enjoy it for the entertainment value if it appeals to you. Better yet, go watch a Netflix video instead. :D

We are all 25 here, in the ether.  Well, thank you, my conscience is relieved  :). I'll get excited when I can have an effect like if I'm ever in the electorate.  Well, maybe I'll vote.

Rather than stretched across the stage, they should have been put on a Hollywood Squares style set.

I like the idea! Rich Little is still alive I believe and could also, just for the heck of it, a surprise candidate! He could mock and copy accents of current candidates and the famous Democrats of yesteryears. Is Paul Lynde still alive? He needs to have the center square for his witty answers.

Paul Lynd is reputedly deceased. From the center square he could have given a one liner after every answer. I’m sure it would keep people watching.

Guthrie seems to be the DNC establishment assassin tonight. She launched into Bernie who fired back. The rest are simply whining.

And Diaz-Balart and Pete were the first to speak Spanish.

Now Marianne is delivering the woo, and is cut off by Lester Holt.

I want more woo from Marianne WIlliamson!!  The whole open-borders and medicare for all, and give-aways for all illegals is getting old. Some new ideas, please. The homo mayor seems to be the most logical and, a bit, more realistic on some issues. Speaking of old- Biden looks like he has had some recent 'work' but looks old. Now the Indian/Caribbean woman is confronting Biden about working with old Senators who didn't like integration!  Now she bitching about busing- even though most school districts in California don't have public school buses anymore due to the budget problems! Those Bernie lips and his constant grimace is hilarious and disturbing.

The "Hollywood Squares" version would've been much more amusing.

Does this mean that you do not consider the "new green deal" to fit that description?  :D

Yes! The "Green New Deal" will be the only way to balance the budget-  since they all advocate to continue to have open-borders and free medicare for all, even illegals!   ;D

and here we go on climate policies....you called it!

Castro just said trans women should be able to get abortions. How does that work?
I missed the start (just going to load it now, if I can.) I want the video of this. Seems like a classic "Noorieism."

What were the "pet" issues for the young Zenman? Any that still tug at the heart strings?

Wow... They should have called it "fear and loathing in Miami."

Hickenlooper and Buttigieg seemed interesting. Most of the rest came off a little nutty at best. Lots of very expensive promises and pandering to the extremes and special interests. Lots of nutcases.

Oh well... Long live Trump (and his almost guaranteed four more years...)

The main goals back then were a smaller, less intrusive gov't and a balanced budget. Lol.

I actually went out and scooped dog shit instead. Far more enlightening than this utterly boring political theater. From what I did watch the audience of seals reacted at light speed to the applause signs. Gurgling feelings of satisfaction humming throughout the hall. american political illiteracy at its finest!

If you haven't noticed the McDonald has a falling out with everyone he interacts with even his own handpicked staff. Putin will nuke our fucking asses when america's mascot takes his blundering too far. I can't see us surviving even his first term. As they used to say in the day, "bend over, and kiss your ass goodbye!"

Bernie Sanders, Andrew Yang and Tulsi Gabbard are the only candidates I like. Warren has sold out and is now fine with warmongering. The likelihood of any of those candidates I like making it is almost 0. The DNC will cheat Bernie again no doubt. I left the Democratic party so I can't vote in the primary anyway.

The democrats are full of liars, cheats and warhawks, there is nothing there for me.

Trump's prolly in the tub with him right now. Guess who's bobbin for apples? True love at first sight, but we know how Trump's affairs turn out.

After remaining completely dormant and forgotten for decades, drug up to be splashed on the front page of every newspaper in a bid to discredit him?

Eeeerrrr The McDonald was writing checks after he was inaugurated. I've seen the egomaniacal signature on the check. Did you miss that??? Esquire Cohen brought it to our attention after he got honest.

Looks like an honest scout to me ehhhh?

I almost felt bad for Biden, who was looking a lot older than the last time I've seen him, when the Indian-Caribbean woman went after him for, rightfully, being against Federal school busing policies- especially since most of California doesn't even have public school busing for ANYONE any more, for decades, due to Democrat bad budgets and the various fiscal problems.  But Kamala, the lawyer who lied to, strangely, "prove blackness," claiming to smoke dope and listen to Snoop Dog, came across as coherent, unlike some others. But she was a DA and lawyer and trained in rhetoric and argument.  Her dad criticized her claims as stereotyping. A really weird bunch and odd political situation we have. Almost nothing about American citizens, except general statements, it seemed the core constituency and concerns were for foreigners and illegal aliens!

The fact that they all in this round of the clown show supported open borders and free healthcare for all, including illegals, was stunning. I noted there was a bit of hesitation in a few of the, somewhat, more sane candidates, realizing the absurd costs of providing healthcare (and other give-aways) to everyone in the world,  but peer pressure. Amazing. I don't think we want a President that so easily goes with peer pressure as these candidates did.

I find Kamala’s bussing story hard to believe. She would have started school in 1971 or so. Berkeley, California schools were not integrated until 1971? There was an education department desegregation order for Berkeley ordering bussing? I find that as hard to believe as I do Art coming back as Heather’s guest.
She probably rode a bus to school and didnt know the difference.
