This is my favorite version of the song.  I like the hard rock and doo-wop vocals. They should have released the single with the shooby-doo-wah's intact.

Meta-Beatles . . .

One-time popup supergroup (John Lennon, Eric Clapton, Keith Richards, Mitch Mitchell [and you can ignore Yoko scattered on the floor]), Dirty Mac, performing "Yer Blues."

If you haven't watched the Stones' Rock and Roll Circus, the source of this clip, get your act together and rent it.

Always a big hit when VHS was king and BEATLEFEST was still called BEATLEFEST.

The hall would fill at the LA Bonaventure when this came on.

LOVED it. How anyone in their right mind could find fault with Paul, George, and Ringo backing a song of John's with Jeff Lynne at the helm boggles the mind. The video is incredible.

That's great. It's actually an old German folk tune and the flutes bring that out.

I really like this track and liked the whole album.  I bought it when it came out and still go back to it. Sean Ono Lennon is a fucking poseur snowflake compared to Julian.

McCartney's son is a pathetic waste of guitar strings.  Dhani is enjoyable for a couple of tracks and is turning into a Dweezil Zappa, which could lead to a long and prosperous career....

Zack is a drummer... Better than his father in some many ways.  Oasis and The Who sideman...
