I'm pretty sure INS will deport you next time you're caught stealing something.

Next time I'm caught stealing something? haha sounds like you are upset.

So witty. I can't believe your podcast isn't listened to by more than 12 people. It is at least 12...right?

Appropriate considering there hasnít been any interest paid to CoastToCoadt for 10 years.

Maybe I will. I'll call in and let you know what the Spanish word for 'witty' is since you don't seem to know the English one.

Maybe you should, I'm sure you would be riveting.

Well I have a bit of self-awareness. That is why I don't have a podcast. I know I would be bad at it.

I wonder how Jorch's extended contract to 2030 and beyond will work out after the dust settles.   :P

Care to elaborate, or are you just guessing? I'm going to need specifics. You said 'trust me', that's pretty serious, unless your trust doesn't mean anything.

Terrestrial am radio is dead. Even my newer vehicle doesn't include the am broadcast band. Too much interference from all the onboard electronics. I do all my listening via online streaming. Even the local 5000 watt am station does full time internet streaming. It also gives them real time figures on who is listening to them. They have a single engineer who comes by once in a while to check logs and make minor tuning adjustments to the old broadcast transmitter but that's it and he's pushing 75 years old. The transmitter could fail but only a few would notice they would be off the air.

KFI in LA admits they have a huge number of iHeart streaming listeners. But keeping their 50,000
watt clear channel transmitter is expensive and the number of advertisers has dwindled.

iHeart is dying on the vine...change, you can't stop it.  Now, back to watching pornhub.

Pornhub is not selective enough. When I want just the "girl next door", they give you the porn star, or the crack addict... who happens to live next door.  :o They need better filters, like no tattoos, no body piercing, no glasses, no high heels, no drugged or drunk participants...

I wish it were not true... But it certainly is ready to be placed in a casket.

My local station that used to carry Coast did a massive program shuffle after they lost Dave Noorie.  They took an already terrible show out (at home with Cherryl Gillispe) and put on some health show.  I caught around 10 minutes of the host trying to convince the audience that psychics can help with their well being.

To make a long story short, they actually took an email reading.  Bell always said that personal readings make for bad radio.  Now, imagine not even having a caller who can at least interact with the psychic.  This was somebody who sent their name and birthday in by bloody email and listening to some charlatan spew their garbage "reading" was supposed to be radio worth listening to?

Then they took my old radio shows off the air, and my radio has been quiet at nights ever since.

Can't a company in Chapter 11 cancel contracts, if approved by the bankruptcy court?

Is George Noory aware of this and concerned about it?  Someone should call and ask

Dear I Heart,

Employee George R Noory is said to currently be making in excess of $500,000 per year.  In Chapter 11, you are entitled to cancel contracts if the bankruptcy judge approves.

It is doubtful George would be able to get a job in radio elsewhere, and his outside income is heavily dependent on him being the current host of your show.  I believe he would accept an annual salary of $50,000 to do the same job, including the same number of shows and hours, at the same level of performance.

You're welcome,

PB the Deplorable

LOL.  Jorch hauling in half a mil a year.  Gee, I can't understand why such a competent outfit would be bankrupt.  ::)
