I find Alex Jones hilarious. Everything is a conspiracy to this guy. He's a great actor and he kisses George Noory's ass a lot. I used to think he was harmless and just good entertainment. Some of his stuff is good/true. The food/FDA stuff is interesting and the steroids and hormones in beef is correct, but you can't make an entire radio show out of it, so he has to go on and on about Bohemian this and that.
What's dangerous about him is that he is the Rush Limbaugh of today. Rush was a hero, but at least Rush was grounded in reality, but he was still a rebel. I think Alex is dangerous because rather than just have a rebel appeal, he is making young guys who worship him think "if I'm a loser, it's the government's fault. I don't want to pay my taxes or do anything because this country is so corrupt. I'll give myself to the truther movement." Alex makes a great living off of his following, and his family is getting the benefits, but the price is high.
So many elderly and youth are buying into his bullshit, to the point that I read an article by a young woman whose father went bankrupt buying all the nonsense Alex endorses, for fear that the collapse of the world is near.
