There are tons of cartoon and kitschy TV shows I liked, and I loved the opening themes to all of them because it meant one of them was about to start

Oh yeah!!!!!!!!!

I guess I should be ashamed that I loved this show.....    Elliott either cracks you up or he doesn't - the guy always made me laugh

Oh that's right - you're elderly......    :D     Well it was a horrid show.

Is this one is a little better?   If I lived out Chefist's way, I think I'd have to have an old Willy's

For some reason I don’t remember Space Ghost. It must have been on the same time as Paul Revere & the Raiders, The Monkees or Batman.

Decades later he reappeared as a talk show host on Cartoon Network - Space Ghost Coast to Coast...

If it was a Saturday morning cartoon, I would have missed it. By the time I was 9 I had a Saturday job sweeping up a machine shop and cleaning their office. One of their machinists would pick me up at 7:00 am and bring me back home after noon. I got paid $7 cash for 5 hours. Had a bank account and everything. Our generation screwed it up by deciding our kids shouldn’t have to go through what we went through. Little did we know.

It was a great show! Too good for TV, so to speak. I used to love all the bit characters he would do on Letterman, like The Guy Under The Seats.  :D

If you were a bad guy that needed an ass beating, George Kennedy's Bumper Morgan in the Blue Knight was only too happy to deliver it:

That was one of my favorites.  I think it was also Wambaughs best effort.

I love this intro.  I still let it play through before the show starts.

Yeah but Cock Gobbler Kevin Spacey killed off his own show.

Yeah, they were really programming us hard for space exploration interest in the 60s and 70s. It worked.  :D

You gotta love that opening bass riff and then the band really kicks in half way through. Plus what a cast!

That show was a crack up.  Just watched the intro again.  Forgot about the hot redhead slut milf in the final moments.  Wonder who she was.

Either that, or people were excited about space flight and the moon missions, and TV jumped aboard the bandwagon to pull in some cash
