Draft Bernie for People's party

A group is trying to draft Bernie Sanders to form a People's Party.

What could be the outcome? Will Hillary be pleased or pissed?

As much as I liked Bernie, voted for him and agreed with 85 to 90 % of what he had to say (which is more than any other politician ever for me). I am profoundly disappointed with him. He seems to have let the corporate political Democrats just bury him and forget about him.

If he really wanted to make a difference he would form a party and just say Fuck you to all the Democrats who screwed him out of the nomination. He also could have made a real big deal out of how he was screwed and help that it never happens to another grassroots candidate again, but no not a word.

I would be out there explaining all the BS with the DNC and forming a third party or working to strengthen the Greens or something. He just went back to Washington to be ignored and ridiculed by the corporate fake liberals.

Bernie should just go into commenting occasionally and saying "I told you so" and plugging stuff on radio and internet shows like food dehydrators. Pull a Ron Paul. Instead it seems he accepted the pay offs and stood with the Party that intentionally destroyed his campaign, though it seems like he got a lot more than simply 30 silver shekels.

Furious. She's a sociopath who won't stop killing and manipulating until she's dead.  :D

I think he played it pretty smart. He probably saw the writing on the wall, knew how corrupt the Clinton mafia was and also saw their message start to fray and unravel. Distancing himself from the Dems was probably the smartest thing he could've done in this situation.

Also, I just heard today that he' is forming a new political party called The People's Party. They're having a convention in July, apparently.  ;)

All Sanders did was promise a lot of free stuff and get the politically naive, Neo Marxist and something-for-nothing crowd all worked up.  Not once did he tell us where the money for all his handouts was going to come from except to tax the rainmakers of the country into relocating to foreign shores.  Obama was the closest thing to a full on socialist that will ever be elected in this country.  Sanders was as successful as he was because he was in competition for the nomination with a liar and serial felon with whom he compared favorably.  Whether he would have beaten Trump or not is debatable but I doubt that there will ever be an alignment of circumstances that was so favorable to the rise of a socialist presidential candidate as in the 2016 presidential race.

I suppose you could call Obama a socialist in the sense that he was following the cloward piven strategy of trying to bring the whole thing down in order to justify and create a new socialist system but throughout his 8 years he demonstrated nothing but being on the side of big banks, big pharma, the insurance industry, etc. These are facts. Big monoploistic businesses entwined in a socialist government is the very definition of fascism.  ;)

I believe he wants to keep the door open for a 2020 run with him being 1,001 years old at that time. He has said he is not ruling out a future run.

He'd make an awful president.
