Did I say that? I just asked that the political affiliations of the victims,  either directly or indirectly should be taken into consideration before just blithely condemming a bloke with a gun. The victims might even have thought of being gay or voting for Clinton. Surely you'd agree they partly encouraged things?

Yes depending on the situation. If a victim just "happened to be gay" and voted for Billary was a victim along with random others than it doesn't matter how they voted or if they were homosexual. But if he was targeted specifically because he was a homosexual Clinton supporter than it matters because it shows a motive of the perp.

Likewise if some guy, who happens to be Muslim, rear-ends my truck it is likely an accident. But if instead of apologizing and sharing insurance information he starts yelling Allau Snackbar and veers off into the crowds whilst accelerating than his Muslim status matters because it shows the motivation and that it is not an accident.
