Who gives a shit what it looks like, camouflage, hurr durr

Do you surmise that it should hoist a little flag that says "I can heat up the ionosphere from 5,000 miles away with pinpoint accuracy"?

Let me know what a brown recluse spider "looks like" next time you see one, Dick Tracy.

....And lo the ionosphere did spake in tones mocking to 'camouflaged' radar dome/artificial weather array thing. "Bring it on mere mortal abacus, for I have ions aplenty and can reduce you and many thousands like you to burnt out electronic components and pcb boards"

And the camouflaged dome did say meekly, "Erm, okay, you're the boss"

"I'm glad you agree", said the ionosphere with a sneer.

You've made conclusions based on deductions that were actually speculations. Look, look, I'm not here to judge you, that's just how it's worked out here.

This woman goes on about airborne particulates for an hour, and then bakes cookies at the end.

Do as I say, not as I do...

They don’t bother buying the offset credits when they are optional either.

Shit, accuweather is calling for a low of 24 here on Sunday. We are going from summer to winter in less than a week.  Cold front just blew through here this morning ending the warm weather.  >:(

All I can say is there better be a heap big snow this winter.

The U.S. And Syria are the only two countries in the world who ...

"Instead of America being aligned with nearly 200 nations across the globe, the United States now stands only with Syria."

So the opposition includes only two countries:

* one of them is torn by violence, and faces internal division because their autocratic leader constantly sows the seeds of discord.

* and the other is Syria

"(Washington, DC) — Judicial Watch obtained 900-pages of documents from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) which reveal the agency’s use of the mass-sharing Thunderclap social media platform to covertly promote its policies in violation of federal law.

The documents show that EPA staffers, via the Thunderclap platform, recruited outside groups to lobby in support of the Clean Water Rule or “Waters of the United States.” Thunderclap shares member messages across multiple Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr accounts simultaneously."

Looks like winter is setting in right on time.  Get your leaves raked and get those Christmas decorations up because you will not want to do that after Wednesday.  The big freeze is setting in for those of us east of the Mississippi.  Even down here in the south, lows for most of the next month are going to be from 18-30 with highs below normal in the low to mid 40's.  I'm even hearing talk that some of us in the south may get a White Christmas this year.

1) I am definitely using the version of the Briffa et al series you sent in which Keith had restandardized to retain more low-frequency variability relative to the one shown by Briffa et al (1998). So already, the reconstruction I'm using is one-step removed from the published series (as far as I know!) and that makes our use of even this series a bit tenuous in my mind, but I'm happy to do it and let the reviewers tell us if they see any problem.

Yep, they are calling for a bit of snow here in Atlanta tomorrow.  I stopped going to weather.com years ago.  They lost me when they started showing documentaries all of the time.  They then jumped on the man-made global warming bandwagon.  When they were purchased by NBC was the final nail.  I now use accuweather.com for my weather needs.  Weatherbell is also good for Joe Bastardi's updates.

Have 3 -4' of the white stuff on the ground here in North Georgia.  Quite a surprise since they only called for a dusting.  The snow is coming down at a good clip.

Still snowing to beat the band.  I don't ever recall as heavy a snow as this before Christmas since I've been living here. Sticking more to the yards and streets now.  Supposed to continue all night.  If it does, I wouldn't be surprised if there was a foot of the white stuff here by the morning.

We only got 1-2inches but Corpus. Yes, Corpus, got 7! And the Valley got inches. I hope the coyotes and their illegals brought their Mexican blankets with them.
Global Warming, indeed. It will be interesting to see how the Al Gore scientists churn the numbers and show that the snow was a result of warming or, maybe, they will just "adjust" the numbers on the snow itself?
