Lasers are on the "cutting edge", lol.  But the video didn't prove anything.  I don't think the speaker interviewed anyone nor quoted anything believable.  Fox News is own by Disney and seems more like theater than news.  https://www.politifact.com/punditfact/tv/fox/  says that 88% of Fox's statements have been proven half true (19%), mostly false (21%), false (29%) or brazenly false (9%).  That's 88% of what they say being false or at best half true.

For instance one of their speakers said that the U.S. doesn't have a military reserve.  https://www.politifact.com/punditfact/tv/fox/false/

That said, I'm pretty sure that remote lasers could be used for destruction.  And maybe some people do eat their own.  But Fox did not prove that or give any evidence for it.
