Quote
Ronald Gerald Wayne (born May 17, 1934) is a retired American electronics industry worker. He co-founded Apple Computer (now Apple Inc.) with Steve Wozniak and Steve Jobs, providing administrative oversight for the new venture. He soon, however, sold his share of the new company for $800 US dollars, and later accepted $1,500 to forfeit any claims against Apple (in total, equivalent to $9,185 in 2015). As of April 2016, Wayne's 10% stake in Apple Inc. would be worth almost $60 billion.

The way he explains it is that he was in his early 40s at the time he signed the agreement with Woz and Jobs and the only one of the three with any money or assets. So, if it went South and creditors came looking for their money, Wayne was the only one they would've been able to get any from. It's understandable but yeah, it must've been torturous realizing what he walked away from later. It's too bad he couldn't see what was in front of him.

It would be nice if the Jobs estate threw him a million.  For old times' sake.

You would think that would've happened at some point. I wonder if Woz threw him some cash and just didn't tell Jobs?
