Except it's not "one landowner". There will be thousands more property owners to oust under Trump's ambitious wall plan. Many are already looking to hire lawyers. And, there remain outstanding cases still unsettled from the 2006 land acquisition.

Suffice it to say, even acquiring the private properties without delays will take years, not to mention the monumental task of actually constructing the wall. Meanwhile the clock is ticking on Trump's time in office, as is the patience of his supporters. And for him to boast he's "way, way, way" ahead of schedule is just another of his blatant lies.

Look I been drinking, I have been drinking alot BUT you obviously have not read the Kelo decision....You should read the Kelo decision then get back to us ok. No attorney with half a brain will take this Kelo puts the nail in the coffin, read it then get back to us. After word you should (heh maybe) realize how idiotic the idea that attorney would take the case. Kelo was decided at SCOTUS it is a done deal ;)

Read the sign, "We need representation and protection. Not a fence" It sounds as if the Texan landowners near the border feel as if the wall/fence is nothing more than a self-serving move by D.C. politicians. Has anyone bothered to speak to their concerns, or will Trump just mow them down and put up his wall?

These epic David versus Goliath battles are precisely the kind of D.C. policy moves that ultimately turn constituents against the administration. As with healthcare, there is absolutely no sense whatsoever of bringing in the people to the discussion on decisions that will affect their lives for years to come. The fact that Trump was elected by a minority of American voters whose support is already shrinking should indicate to them they are treading on thin ice.

This will not matter look up the Kelo Decision https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kelo_v._City_of_New_London

Yep. There will be lawsuits. From property owners and environmentalists and even from nefarious types that want to keep destroying our civilization. We are either a country of laws with a border we can defend or we aren't. Since 2006 the Secure Fence Act mandated that we have a secure border.

There will be delays. And costs. But this administration is not like Obama that encouraged the "sue and settle" doctrine. Eminent domain will eventually prevail. Most of the land has already been granted through purchas and easements. 95% can be settled quickly. The dest can be guarded until the eminent domain cases are settled.

I think you have brought up in the past issues of Trump using eminent domain. Well, if there was ever a constitutional arguement for its use, this one is certainly clear cut.

Obstructionist judges be damned. We will get control of our borders and immigration or we will be damned to ruin.

There will not be delays or cost this is crap and Democrat wishful thinking. Besides it is already settled and they have no one to blame but themselves. Two words "Kelo Decision Thank the democrat activist judges :)

How much longer before Trump voters figure out they've been duped? SAD!

"We're building the wall. In fact it's going to start very soon. Way ahead of schedule. It's way, way, way ahead of schedule."
-Donald Trump, Feb 2017

Brownsville, Texas (CNN)
Before Donald Trump can build his promised wall between the US and Mexico, he will have to take private property from thousands of US citizens - a land grab that is expected to prompt years of legal battles, cost tens of millions in taxpayer dollars and delay construction.

Also from the Washington Times  "And one more tidbit: These spreadsheets were allegedly requested by Rice a year before the 2016 presidential election"

This is way before they started the Russian narrative.

This is the deal, we KNOW Susan Rice will lie to the media, the weekend after Bengazi she hit all the talk shows stating with conviction that it was because of a video. The leaked / hacked emails prove that the day of the attack they KNEW it was a successful terrorist attack.

When she is under oath she will have the following choices. 1. Tell the whole truth and implicate a lot of people possibly even Obama. 2. Lie. That is perjury she goes to jail. (G.G. Liddy gangsta) I doubt she has the stomach. That leaves 3. Plead the 5th.

Again: She will plead the 5th

No-one has said yet what she did that was illegal. My understanding is she was NSA to Obama, and in that capacity had access to classified info provided by the IS, yes?

What evidence have you she divulged classified info to un cleared persons? Unmasking isn't leaking by the way; it adds context. But as neither you nor I know who or what or why, the point is moot. Unless of course you're simply repeating what Trump is tweeting?

Yes she said that during the interview. She also said that there  “They allege there was a spreadsheet you put out of all of these names and circulated it.” Rice: “Absolutely false. No spreadsheet, no nothing of the sort.” She said that unmasked names “was not then typically broadly disseminated throughout the national security community or the government.”

That contradicts this:  A former U.S. attorney named Joseph diiGenova told the Daily Caller: “What was produced by the intelligence community at the request of Ms. Rice were detailed spreadsheets of intercepted phone calls with unmasked Trump associates in perfectly legal conversations with individuals.”

So....someone is lying. I doubt she will repeat that on the stand or she will Plead the 5th  My bet she lawyers up and takes the 5th.

I bet my hair she doesn't need to. Show what she did wrong; use diagrams and a pp presentation if you need them.

Ha Ha good one. Did I say she did anything wrong? No I did not, I said "she is going to plead the 5th" that is what I am betting.

The previous admin has lost control of the narrative, they took the Russian BS to far and it is starting to backfire.

Isn't NY Post owned by Rupert Murdoch? Owner of Fox news? Yeah, I think it probably is.  ::)

So this is just a distraction nothing to see, about the bet lets make it A beer. I bet a beer Susan Rice is going to plead the 5th when she is called to testify. Not real news, just a distraction it should be a free beer. Take me up?

This does not look good.

Months (Possibly over a year) prior to the election she ordered the consolidation and unmasking of all the incidental intercepts. Then minor leaks before to the press then major leaks after the election of the collected info?

The bet is does she plead the 5th yes or no.

Now we get to find out how gangsta Susan Rice is. Undoubtedly she is going to plead the 5th will she do fed time like Susan Mcdougal. She went to jail rather than testify against Bill and Hillary Clinton her husband died there before he could testify. Will she do the same to protect her boss?

Would not do any good.

I read the Intel assessment release, I also work in the industry. So I understood exactly what they were saying the last two thirds of the document reads like a security best practice. The good news is someone took the time to reword the elements to make it appear to be new, it wasn't.

From the office of the director of national intelligence "does not dispute the CIA's analysis of Russian hacking operations, it has not endorsed their assessment because of a lack of conclusive evidence that Moscow intended to boost Trump over Democratic opponent Hillary Clinton"
Source: http://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-trump-intelligence-idUSKBN14204E

At this point the narrative must be maintained a lot of people in office have supported the claim and to back down now would just look bad.

If the Russian's hacked anything (which the probably did) it was Clinton's server. Notice everything that had been released none of it was pulled off her server directly. They probably have dropped that IF she would have won. That is what they would have released not the bullshit that came out.

The Russian's "hacked" our election is among the stupidest things I have read.

For this to be true we would have to believe that the Russian's would prefer to face Gen. Mattis Sec Def versus someone of the caliber of Carter. Gen Mattis is an accomplished war fighter, a leader of men a legend among the ranks on the level of Gen Puller. Ash Carter was a physicist, academic and a bureaucrat he never served in the military hell I doubt he has ever been in a fist fight.

We would also have to believe the Russians prefer to face Gen Kelly US Marine, War fighter, proven leader. A man who lost his son also a Marine in Afghanistan. He continued to serve his country (the man is a fucking rock) and now heads DHS. This compared to Johnson who was an attorney, bureaucrat and fund raiser.

At the time of the "leaks" Hillary was favored to win by the media, it was everything accept a done deal and they are waiting for the ink to dry. IF the Russians had those documents they would have held them to AFTER the election to weaken her position. It would have been a waste of resources, remember she was as good as the next President to release the info. Putin is not dumb, the man is ruthless he has been in the position he is in for a long time. People that make those kinds of mistake do not hold power for very long.

A few weeks ago there was a leak out of the CIA where the CIA uses foreign governments hacking tools against others. This is in policy technical docs. Time Frame Prior to March 8.  Directory Comey testified that the evidence indicated it was the Russian's. That means the Russian's are to lazy to cover their tracks, but from weeks earlier we learn the CIA likes to use Russian tools for deniability?

After the inauguration our security and intelligence community started to leak like a sieve. The emails from the DNC why would that not be an inside job? There were / are a lot of pissed of people that did not like the way Bernie was treated. I can more likely see them helping out versus the Russian's wasting resources on a weak candidate. Maybe they had more dedicated people who were tight lipped to bad they all got the ax this week.

I missed that one. I couldn't get past George Noory's perhaps frontal-lobe dementia is his "what's happening" news bit when he cited "The Wall" on the Mexico border is unneeded because "we" have Area 51 and "lasers" could be used at a much-lower cost.

What in the world is Noory taking about? Looks like his tumeric isn't starving off his rapidly increasing Alzheimer's disease or whatever he has. Remember a few years ago? On some "Open Lines" bit when Noory said he may announce to the world he "has some disease."

I think we know what his disease is. Rapidly increasing frontal-lobe dementia and no doubt that's why he can't travel solo anymore and producer Tom has to "guide him" around. No coincidence -- because Noory doesn't believe in those -- that Tom has to be on hand for every event Noory appears. His babysitter, perhaps?, as some "disease" he once stated he'll tell the world he has makes him unable to take care of himself anymore.
He can not be sick, toomeric!!!

I can't believe what I heard at the start of the second hour. Someone please confirm what I thought I hears

Jorge talks about how a supermarker had to close for a time period because a poor women murdered either in a mall or parking lot. Then somehow Jorge turned this story into an ad for his supply company he shills for, cause you never know when things shut down.

WTF, I think most people can wait a few days or go a few blocks to another store.

Dude just listened to that, holy crap he is insane
