This is a show I've looked forward to.

On another note, we got rid of the cackling woman, now how do we get them to TURN DOW THE VOLUME on that 'stream guys' lead in?  One of these days I'm going to forget to mute though that and a neighbor is going to key my car.

I really thought he was going to be one of those 'chicken little' alarmists whose intent is to get everyone all riled up rather than give info. i was glad to be proven wrong.

Isn't there some scientific notion (or is it only science fiction?) that Mars is enough like earth that with enough time and effort it could be made habitable for us when we finally manage to kill the planet we already have?

Whitley actually knows this.  He often has other people host his show 'because the listeners say I talk too much."  Not EXACTLY your reasons but I think this is one of the symptoms.

I used to remove rock stars' fat from photos for catalogs, Chris Squire once thanked me for removing his "jowls."  I also removed all the security cameras from catalog photos of my company's factory so no one would get any "Mission Impossible" ideas...   :

These days, YES!  Back in the day when a community church was the primary source of welfare for people in need, it made sense to give them a break - but now they often have huge tracks of land, comfy endowments and so on. And, we have public safety nets paid for by taxes. Different rules, different world.
