So 16 years later, one of the documents leaked by Edward Snowden confirms Sherman’s testimony about the NSA using highly classified “black programs” as cover for even more highly classified programs (which he refers to as “grey programs” aka “above black programs").  We may now even have the name of the umbrella program he feared to mention under threat of prosecution:  Sentry Eagle.

Generally I have to give a second thought to the guests and cases that haven’t been discredited after 10-20 years, but it’s even more compelling when unrelated sources offer confirmation of key aspects of a guest’s testimony.

I also want to point out that this is yet another incident that handily refutes the absurd notion that “all of the real stories get covered by the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, etc.”  Mainstream reporting does not keep us informed about all of the significant developments in our world and government.  If Edward Snowden hadn’t leaked this document and the “Art of Deception” document, we would never have heard of these programs, or even entire agencies that were totally unknown to the public and news agencies.

My 16 year old Pug, Blondie who meant the world to me recently passed away and hearing that they will be on the other side with us was comforting.   I'm glad she decided to do this. It shows me she is seriously determined to make a go of it.
I have come to accept that Art Bell is not returning to MITD and I would rather listen to Heather
on the show than to not listen to the show at all.
  Late I know, but I enjoyed the episode with Glen Steckling on 02/02/16.

I don't listen to Coast and have not been up on the paranormal scene for quite some time. 
Some of the material is newer to me than most of the devotees here.
Maybe there is an abundance of potential listeners such as myself for the current MITD.

Especially when they forecast 8-10" of snow, schools and business close the night before and you get a lousy spritz.
The next day they try to run some bullshit voodoo vortex system explanation and some idiots are actually in awe of this.
Emboldened, they do the same thing a week or two later.
  I remember our local tv guy in the late 50's early sixties who would literally say "hold on" and look out the window of the studio and then say " it's raining out right now" or whatever. He looked just like Jimminy Crickett and was never wrong.
