ARGH. You are so right. I stand corrected.  :-[
Didn't mean to embarrass you.  I knew what you meant.

Hahaha! Here we go! Heather has a hard time with "Marketing." Hours before her show and she's barely going to eek out information about it.
Eek?  Did you see a snake?   Try the word eke out.  You might like it.  :P

You prove it with every one of your posts. ;D
This from the guy who attacked me when I agreed with and elaborated on one of the points in his post because he was too stupid to realize.   ::)

Pah!!! It won't crash.   ;)
Of course not, but sometimes less than ideal landings occur.  :P. The ideality of the landing is inversely proportional to the number of pieces.

Will you get someone to video it for it's maiden?
I may be able to make that happen.  All planes have at least one landing in them.  I usually put a trash bag in the fuselage.

Seems to be the M.O. I guess given the size of the population, there will always be a small percent that will believe anything.
I learned long ago to never underestimate the stupidity of people.

All set to fly once I get the new batter connectors.  Airframe together, electronics installed and radio programmed.

Iím amazed that so many people have trouble understanding midnight, though I shouldnít with it appearing no one understands the difference between standard and daylight savings time.
Has BellGab taught you nothing?  Very little that goes on here amazes me anymore, delights yes, amazes no.

I figured it was a bit tongue in cheek.  The field I checked out this weekend has folks that fly turbines.  It will be fun to watch them fly but Iím not ready to sink 10k+ into a plane.  Not to mention the hassle of getting a turbine waiver.

Perhaps in time.  That is a big (in many senses) investment to see if I like something.

Iíll be doing a competing BellGabathon on the LNM network.  I tentatively have it planned for the sixth of never but may change the starting date and/or network a few times.

163
I heard MV sold BellGab to some Liberace guy and now lives in the Bahamas.

I've only ever flown one electric model...An E flight Taylorcraft...Kit made in China (where else) 'glued' together with sparrow spit. Other than that, gliders only. I know several who fly multiple disciplines and those that can fly jets also say gliders can be harder. It's certainly purer and quieter.  :)
Much less margin for error.  No pushing the stick forward and powering out of anything.

Bugger.. I need to get some yellow and translucent blue Oricover for my 'Hammer' V tail F3 glider before  it flies again...Did I tell you I picked up a 1/5 scale plan for a Schweitzer 1-35 glider the other week? I'm going to get it scaled up to 1/4 scale..Make a nice 12 foot span ship.
That sounds like it should be fun.  There is a slope soaring site about 60-70 minutes north of me.  I may go check it out, Iíve always wanted to do that.  It must make you a better pilot flying anything.

I guess you have too much amperage flow to risk cutting a few strands of copper.
Yup.

No flying for me this weekend.  Plane is together but I donít have the right sized power pole connectors for #10 AWG.  Wonít fit into contact designed for #12 AWG,   :'(

chefist, what was Orson's beef with you?
I think it had to do wiith using margarine in brownies.  Probably not enough calories.

Good luck monica.  You certainly are putting in the effort.

It was the right BellGabian answer to a typical BellGabian problem.

Merged.
Thanks.  I never got around to creating a third thread which would have solved the problem.

The activity in the threads is almost 50/50 split. We need a tie breaker.
Iíll create a third thread...

I understand the intention, but I'm sorry, I'm not going to follow two threads during the show.  I feel bad, I'm not trying to ignore the people in "the OTHER thread" .
True, intention good, outcome bad.  What is that saying about good intentions?

ikr?  That said, I'd rather listen to somebody with a voice for newsprint with something interesting to say, than to somebody with a great voice with nothing new to say.
True
