NASA wants to probe Uranus in search of gas

We hear a lot about Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn, and that’s because we have extremely fancy hardware floating around and, in some cases, cruising on the surface of those planets. The planets that lie further away from the Sun don’t get nearly as much attention, but they may soon, as NASA is currently spitballing some missions that will give us a better look at Uranus than we’ve ever gotten.


Oy.

I noticed a link to a VPN at the top of the BG home page. What is that again? Is it like another internet? Can I use that instead of the internet? Is it used to replace Skype?

My Avast is about to expire. I also have Malware Bytes on my computer. I got the free versions of both programs initially, but then decided that skimping on computer protection is penny-wise and pound foolish. So I upgraded to the paid version of both programs. The Malware Bytes seems to be a one time purchase and has never renewed and I still have the paid version.  The Avast renews itself every year.

I don't know that I am thrilled with the Avast. Sometimes I run a security scan and it tells me that a lot of folders cannot be scanned because of a password. I have not set up any passwords on my computer other than the one to get into the actual computer.

Other than Avast, what other good programs are compatible with Malware and Windows 7?

I don't know how many of you are familiar with the Mandela Effect, but this is a series of memories shared by a large swath of the population pertaining to a person or event that is in direct opposition to the actual events as recorded in this timeline. I first became aware of this phenomenon when many people on different CT forums were saying that they remembered Nelson Mandela dying in prison. Nelson was alive at the time and so I thought these people were crazy or confusing Nelson Mandela with someone else who had died. However, too many people remembered this event for it to be a coincidence or for them all to be confused, especially as they all seemed to remember the exact same event.

Then The Berenstein Bears became a Mandela Effect topic. Most people remember the Berenstein Bears, but today they are known as The Berenstain Bears. Again, I thought that there must be a reasonable explanation such as the book company changed the name or the authors of the series did. Nope. It seems that they were always known as the Berenstain Bears. There have even been some people who remember them as The Berenstein Bears, who have checked for old books in their attics and found that it says Berenstain.

Many people remember Spike from Gremlins movie, but it turns out his name is Stripe and always has been.

Anyone remember King Henry VIII with a turkey drumstick in his hand? That portrait never existed. At least not in this timeline.

Many (including myself) remember hearing of David Soul's death around Christmas time a few years ago, but it turns out that he is living in England and doing well.

Now, I am having a Mandela moment myself and want to see who else out there shares the memory with me. I remember there being a band called The Cowboy Junkies. I wasn't that familiar with their music, but knew of them. Then in the late '90's, Paula Cole blew up with her song Where Have All the Cowboys Gone. She had a few other hits from the same album. I remember hearing that Paula had been the original lead singer in the Cowboy Junkies before striking it out on her own. I even remember an NPR music show in the past 3-4 years that either interviewed Paula Cole or the band Cowboy Junkies and again it was mentioned that Paula had been the original lead singer.

Well,, last week I was posting videos and someone posted a Cowboy Junkie video (akwilly) and I was going to post how much I loved Paula Cole, except I figured that she had been out of the band for so long, that a Paula Cole reference relating to that band would no longer be very relevant. I then searched Google to see when she had left the band and was shocked to find that as per Google, she was never in the band and someone named Margot Timmins has always been lead.

I have Googled variations of "Paula Cole", "The Cowboy Junkies", "Paula Cole's first band", etc. but I keep coming up with she was never in the band. And no, I am not confusing Where Have All the Cowboys Gone with The Cowboy Junkies because they both have the word "cowboy" in them. Anyone else member her being in the band years ago?

I saw this story today and it gave me the creeps. On the surface, it seemed that some man went missing during the blizzard last weekend in the Northeast. It's sad, but it happens. But upon reading the article, it turns out that he disappeared after leaving a bar. This did not seem to have anything to do with the weather. The man was not said to be drunk and lived up the street. Then his body is found in the river. Same MO as so many other missing young men.

A few hours later, his body was found in the Hudson River off Newark Street in Hoboken. His body was about 50 feet in from the shore. Police said that while officers were searching the area late Monday night, they found Genovese's wallet and keys sticking out from the snow near Pier A.

Police said there are no signs of foul play.

Genovese was last seen by three friends Saturday leaving McSwiggan's Pub of Hoboken at First and Bloomfield Avenue between 10:30 and 11:30 p.m. He said he was going home, a 10-minute walk up the street. A worker at the bar said Genovese did not appear to be intoxicated when he left.

And to think...I used to think Alex Jones was crazy. It's easy to dismiss him until the things that he says start to add up. Please look at this with an open mind. Alex is not the emeny. Certain black op segments of our government are.

There has been much discussion over the two individuals fitted with earpieces and military-esque gear spotted at the Boston Marathon, but as it turns out they may likely be employees of the Blackwater-style private military/security firm Craft International.

The two can be seen in the photo below with their hands up to their ears in what is later (second photo) confirmed to be a a wired communications device. Originally, it was thought that these men were likely some sort of military or special operations â€" specifically SEAL team members as indicated by an emblem on one of their black hats. After doing some digging, however, it becomes much more likely that these men are employees of Craft International â€" a private military/security firm similar in nature to Blackwater (Xe).

From this, we first see the military-style men wearing what later is revealed to be standard issue Craft International clothing.

But next let’s examine another image that not only establishes the existence of an ear piece but also the skull logo on the one individual’s hat â€" which is actually the logo for Craft International, the private military firm started by famed sniper Chris Kyle. Here is the image below, which draws parallels between the SEAL aspect of the symbol (and Blackwater) but does not address Craft International:

Now it’s time to narrow it down. Are these men SEALS, Blackwater, or what? Well, by visiting the Craft International About Us page, we start to get answers. Not only is the favicon (little tab icon) of the site the exact same logo (which on the hat presumably reads ‘Craft’), but in image 3 (seen below) we see Chris Kyle with the exact same standard issue Craft International uniform we see these men wearing. From the boots, pants, and even baseball cap icon, it matches up. See for yourself below:

So are these individuals working for Craft International? It seems so, but why are private military soldiers present at the Boston Marathon? Perhaps it coincides with the perceived threat of a bombing that eyewitness Alastair Stevenson reports.
