You miss the nuances. Because almost all the films you love were edited. So why stop there? When it was unavailable on stuff I bought an illegal copy CD-ROM Movie (I think DIV-X) from Kwoonloon of "Cannonball Run." It was hilarious. Subtitled in two Chinese languages. Which differed so much from the actual language. It was awesome. Likewise how you can see "Fast Times" or "Warriors" on tv, VHS, DVD, or rereleases with different soundtracks, endings, etc.

Well, yeah, all films are edited but to the director's or producer's vision. I'm anal about it, I know. I just hate commercials and they have like 25 minutes per hour now. No thanks.
