... And who takes a personal phone call in the middle of a live interview? I was thinking that the phone call was some kind of scripted thing (the ringing was so loud and obvious) but it never came back into play once she returned. So maybe she really is that unprofessional.

And what phone call could she possibly have that she had to take it that instant, then get right back to the performance without missing a beat?

Sounded high to me. He also was all about giving Heather anything she wanted. Dude better watch out.

He was marveling about what nice people she had calling her.

NV is MV. George hits the wrong keys a lot.  The N key is right next to the M key.

I think you're right!  Thanks for clearing that up!

Yep.  She was there for selfish reasons.  I felt bad for the host.

That dumb clod had no idea what was going on

I am sure Art told her a lot of things to get her to shut up.  Those last few months with her living down the road must have been nightmarish.

I put those comments down to the dodderings of an old, likely heavily medicated, man.

That, or now that he's dead she can make any claim about their conversations she wants

I heard that bullshit live!

Did you make it to the end when the host seemed to feel he should keep it going a little longer, but Heather was done and ready to end it, having said everything she came to say?  During the show there were little tells that she had a list of statements she wanted to make, and once the performance was over she was ready to go

WTF? Is that what the show is really like? Wow. Good for Keef that she bailed.

I can answer that, yes that's what it's like. Every once in a while my conscience kicks in and I am like I should go listen to some Heather because maybe I was wrong about her. NOPE NOT WRONG!  She SUCKS!...

You do realize in one of their last conversations Art told her she was every bit as good as he ever was, and that she is the embodiment of his legacy, right?

that sounds fair..even high.
I was in pahrump last month looking for a rental and was surprised the going rates were a tad higher than I thought.

I wonder how much radio equipment was included.  Plus permanent access rights/ownership of the antenna array?

Hey guys this was per Keith...he gave me permission to post it here, and it explains the shifting (and then non-shifting) time slot:

... All the animosity towards  Coast and George was Art...

Heather, erased from the network

... he made all sorts of weird moves that showed he was losing his grip...

Among the absolute worst was transferring the property right next to Airyn to Heather Wad.  It should have been Airyn's decision whether to have her around after he died, not his.  Beyond awful.

With MITD, I think Art simply didn't want to do the show any longer.  I don't even think it was his health, and I think the stalker story was designed to give his exit an "Art Bell flair" while saving face.  He miscalculated the public reaction to the plan.  Heather probably came close to mucking up his exit strategy (and complicating it) when she called the police.  If I'm correct, Art never called the police himself concerning the stalker matter.  Not once.

I think Art loved the attention and anticipation associated with coming back and the buildup toward that, but when it came to actually executing the grind, he would lose interest.  Art was a reeeeally fickle guy.

I just wish he'd been more honest about it, and had a little less contempt for his listeners.

He didn't owe anyone anything, no one owed him anything.  He had the right to quit, everyone else had the right to their opinions about how he decided to do it.

CNN has projected Hoagie to be the next host of Midnight in the Desert...

Good deal.  How much are they paying people to listen?

Better than the alternative?  The alternative to watching Falkie is watching this guy?

Heather's Airyn story seemed so strange to me.

It seems off that Airyn, while grieving the father of her children, would take time to reassure the strange woman who moved in next door and led her husband to spend less time with her during his final years.

Airyn is on record as not giving a fuck about neither radio, how Art became successful nor the paranormal.

I think Heather knows Airyn isn't following any of this, and can therefore make any claims about their conversations she wants.  Just as she does with Art (IMO)

One of the last things Art ever said to me was do whatever I could to stop the charlatan Heather Wad, that Tommee was now his choice to carry on his legacy.

After Heather's performance last night, I received a call from Airyn saying the same thing

I always thought he should do it himself, and use all the world of radio hosts/Art fans out there to fill in as he sees fit and could arrange.

Keith has never liked me, and all that there, but he has a nice voice, and seems to have a bit of a sence of humor, and maybe even some smarts.

There is an obvious choice, a person who fits that description and more, and who is always the understudy and never given a chance.  A person who has sat through thousands of hours of paranormal talk, and has learned all the things not to do.  Tom ''Tommee'' Dumbheiser.

The people's choice.

Remember when that bag of shit claimed that photo wasn't her?

384
oh no he said she was walking around nude with the front door wide open. She was yelling at hin so he pushed her out the door, out side. closed the door and locked it. She was buck naked pounding on the door screaming.

It was indicated that this happened a few times.

At least take the purse with her, a small donation gets her back inside

After last night's performance, I'm guessing the reason Heather didn't go to the funeral is she didn't want to risk being exposed.

If she was herself, blasé and nonchalant about his death and mostly scheming to implement her plan to dump Keith, it would be a bad look.  If she tried her sobbing performance, it would be about as convincing as it was last night - except even worse in person.  What's a girl to do.

America needs a northern wall to keep Rosegirl out.  Maybe just a box of twinkies on the Canadian side of the border would work.

Not for long

Apparently she's not one of the radio pros whose judgment Art trusted who he said liked H
