Onan was an old grump but I liked his posts. Eddie Dean seemed all right to me, but who knows. Jazmunda was hard to dislike.

I think whatever fallout this site experienced was a mix of Bell and Heather not getting the level of veneration these people expected and their dismay with the Falkie thread dominating all of one (1) sub-board. I've seen this at play on other forums so it's not just 'a Bellgab thing'.

My wife won't even glance at Bellgab so I understand it's not everyone’s cup of tea, and that some might actually become nauseated by the place. But these posters were here for years and knew it for what it was.

Onan, Eddie Dean, Jazzmunda and BDubb are the primary 4. Why did they leave? Well, they made it clear in their statements and podcast (Podcast Not Included???I forget). Basically, they felt their content and morality was superior to what they were seeing on the "new" BG.  They gave MV an ultimatum, which of course MV basically told them to go pound sand.

That's about it...they come back every once in a while. The vast majority, me included, would love to see them all post again. I even met Eddie in person in Phoenix, before a Rush concert. He was very polite, funny and enjoyable company. I personally have nothing against anyone of these folks.

Well, you never know...maybe they will come back and participate in the BG community. Or maybe not.

My recollection is at least two of these people despised the popularity of the Senda thread, and would regularly bitch about its traffic. That one of the more unpleasant/most colorless personalities of the site was a regular co-host of the Gabcast was always pretty funny.

At some point a lot of things become no fun to do anymore. I don't know what fun those guys ever got out of making a message board into a sort of repressive high school environment.

It usually ends with the benefactor 'washing my hands' of Senda.

I don't want his life ruined. I want him to act like a man and take some accountability.

This incident was a perfect opportunity for him to go dark and get his life in order. And still he wants another iPad, and wants someone else to pay for it.

I'd pay money for a Tough Mudder-type obstacle course series/skills competition between Senda and Casio.

Mud on that show is intended to be the great leveller for people of physical prowess, but for those two it would be more like their natural habitat.

It's likelier Senda would have shot himself in the leg after one glimpse of the VC, to get a discharge and the veteran disability compensation to go along with it.

There has been a good deal of fantasy involved with the Alexandria library. It was and is good PR for Egypt's prestige.

There's something that doesn't add up about this. They are listed as a divorced couple in that court docket.

I just can't imagine that being a 'ride' that was in high demand.

Of all the stupid crap he has willingly shared about his and their sex life, one photo of Kathy circa 1980 would have answered a few nagging questions.
