Dave has the same amount of listeners as Heather had. Taking calls from such a limited pool would result in the same 2 or 3 people calling in every night. It would be Kolby in WI/PaulElla/Smog/Bear all over again

The split format is very host-friendly because only the most obvious questions are asked at which point it's already time for the next guest. Minimal show-prep is needed leaving time for more important things like planning your next wrestling cruise or shouting-at-ghosts tv show pitch

Show last night on mind control, targeted individuals, V2K, MKUltra (and others,) use of microwave spectrum to transmit voices to a person, implants, and other such stuff. Fun stuff.

Look at the story about Art selling Karen a radio station.Nothing she had ever considered, nothing she had wanted, not her "life long dream." Why did she buy it?  Because Art told her he was going to sell it to her.
Is this the picture of someone begrudgingly buying a $600 000 radio station?

I've heard her say enough suspect stuff to say that at the very least, she's a bit of an embellisher

As for the cuckshack, I think(based on nothing other than my optimism) that maybe he sold it to her knowing the end was near, and assumed that Irene would use Art's FU money to buy it back(and maybe include a little bit more) giving her the freedom to do whatever she wanted

Well. I guess less creepy than the song "Hey-Kid-Get Into My White Van (lost puppy/dj-candy remix)"  that likely some Hollywood Dem donor and producer pitched to Disney.
probably one of the most unintentionally hilarious/creepy music videos

There aren't really any publicly viewable metrics for determining how Dave Schrader's show is doing after all of these months (unless someone has ShoutCast/IceCast numbers), so I thought I'd look around and see if I can at least get a general picture based on data that can be publicly evaluated.

Heather

Dave(peaks ~1200-1500)

Youtube channel: Falkie-esque viewcount

looking at the terrestrial affiliate situation alone, it's clear they're failing to increase this show's audience.  that's a fact.  without obvious growth the subs will begin to erode, the bills will begin presenting a challenge, and keith/heather will have to split because, after all, it takes a lot of money to pay music royalties and keep two employees paid.  every single trend is downward for any metric you can find to gauge MITD's success.  search presence, facebook activity, concurrent stream listeners (when that was visible), the number of affiliates, bellgab MITD thread activity... all down in devastating ways.  there's no reason to assume the subs are magically up in the midst of all of that implosive chaos.

Perhaps Dave should draft up a listener code of conduct, outlining the proper reaction one should have while listening to MITD to avoid such confusion and upset

The good news:KCAA had a few seconds of "Onna mushy pie" last night before switching to a news show so Fred hasn't completely given up. Reminiscent of how Noory had to show up every night and wait to hear Art's voice because nobody knew if he'd show up

Bad news: The  "Onna mushy pie" song is now stuck in my head

She should really embrace more troll callers. At least they were far more funny/interesting than Mike in MT asking how to connect his guitar to a computer or Smog asking for cat updates.

My favourite troll caller was "Billiam" from /x/. He would close-talk into the mic to irritate her and would back off when she warned him(for all of about 10 seconds ;D) He'd spout off complete BS, but sprinkle in enough woo-woo words like egregores and tulpas to keep her interested. I'm not even sure she knew he was trolling

Tsoukalos has always interested me, who knew his non-woo background:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Giorgio_A._Tsoukalos
Tsoukalos is of Greek-Austrian heritage.[12] He is a 1998 graduate of Ithaca College in Ithaca, New York, with a bachelor's degree in sports information and communication.[2] For several years he worked as a bodybuilding promoter and a volunteer in IFBB sanctioned bodybuilding contests, including Mr. Olympia.[2][13] He produced and directed the annual San Francisco Pro Grand Prix from 2001 until 2005.
