Obama's illegals committing atrocities and crimes closer to his home. Though, unlike most citizens, he has the tax-payers funding elite security details for himself and his family. I wonder if any of these precious illegals or "refugees" are attending the elite, private, religious school he sends his daughters? Do Quakers accept Obama's MS-13 member immigrants as students?

The Soviet period.
From late 1944, Joseph Stalin adopted a pro-Zionist foreign policy, apparently believing that the new country would be socialist and would speed the decline of British influence in the Middle East.
Accordingly, in November 1947, the Soviet Union, together with the other Soviet bloc countries voted in favor of the United Nations Partition Plan for Palestine, which paved the way for the creation of the State of Israel.
On May 17, 1948, three days after Israel declared its independence, the Soviet Union officially granted de jure recognition of Israel, becoming only the second country to recognise the Jewish state (preceded only by the United States' de facto recognition) and the first country to grant Israel de jure recognition.

Israeli ambassador to the Soviet Union Golda Meir surrounded by crowd of 50,000 Jews near Moscow Choral Synagogue on the first day of Rosh Hashanah in 1948.
Golda Meir was appointed Israel's minister plenipotentiary to the Soviet Union, with her term beginning on 2 September 1948 and ending in March, 1949.
During her brief stint in the USSR, Meir attended Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur services at the Moscow Choral Synagogue.

In addition to the diplomatic support, arms from Czechoslovakia, part of the Soviet bloc, were crucial to Israel in the 1948 Arab-Israeli War. During the war, the Soviet Union supported Israel when it was attacked by Arab countries that opposed the 1947 United Nations General Assembly resolution for the partition of Palestine into a Jewish and an Arab state.

A major episode in the Soviet relation to the Arabâ€"Israeli conflict was the Suez Crisis, with Egypt negotiating an arms deal with communist Czechoslovakia in September 1955, thereby ending Egypt's reliance on Western arms.
Later, other members of the Warsaw Pact also sold arms to Egypt and Syria.
In practice, all sales from the Eastern Bloc were authorized by the Soviet Union, as an attempt to increase Soviet influence over the Middle East.
Political relations between the two countries remained poor throughout the Cold War, with the Soviet Union helping Arab states such as Syria, Egypt, Libya, Yemen, Algeria and Iraq improve their military capabilities by providing state-of-the-art weaponry and training.

Paul Johnson and other historians argue that November 10, 1975 United Nations General Assembly Resolution 3379 that labelled Zionism as racism was orchestrated by the USSR.
It was rescinded by the Resolution 4686 in December 1991, which coincided with the dissolution of the Soviet Union.

The intrigue between the finalized, I won't mention the creation of it, Soviet State and the Jews and Muslims versus the "West" and "capitalist" countries is very interesting. One could wonder, considering various moves, who is playing whom?

Yeah, depending on where you live very common. But then do the DNA stuff and, whoops. (At least in her case.) She didn't even tell the older folks or kids because, it was a family story and why make waves and upset the narrative (but not exploiting like Warren etc.) And, if one wished to go there DNA can be spoofed.** I never did one but notice things, Norway is different than lots of Scandi lands, lots of darker hair and more almond eyes etc . But, then again, the ear lobe stuff and the "Viking contracture" hand thing that, I haven't had, thankfully, yet but my granddad and uncle and some others did. Was the poor country, the Samis, and that the country of exploration (and taking slaves/mates.) Wouldn't surprised me if I had some weird 'native' roots.

ps: you will note I say "I think" because if I'm up that late and listening to C2C I might be drinking or, if not, I'm listening to a replay in the day on weekends doing yard-work or in garage involving loud engines (C2C is nice 'white noise' these days.)

There were a bunch of Jewish refugees that were floating on a boat (or several) for a year or more after WW2. No country would take them and so they started negotiations for Israel.  :D
Yep, the great actor Max Van Sydnow, better known for his Bergman stuff but, really, did everything from great movies to bad tv movies, was in a good one about this little known fact called "Voyage of the Damned." Interestingly many countries, especially "neutral ones," were more than willing to take capital from Jews (or those killing them) but not the people.

There's probably nothing that would have changed anything in the long run.  It was a mistake to create the state of Israel.
Blame the Brits for Balfour intrigue but nothing new to be "managing" the area to their wiles. Honestly some of me thinks it was true that the Brits, French, Russians, US, etc (even Germans under NAZIs) did actually say "fine" go there to "get them out of our hair." Recall that Roosevelt, and most European countries, refused Jewish refugees and the NAZIs also cut deals for a resettlement campaign even. (And others participate in far worse in terms of exportation of Jews to camps and death.) Bizarre. In a way, I think, controversially, the promotion that the German guilt is some way of also expunging our, and other's, guilt- by omission or outright. (Though obviously they bear the most burden.)

Ha. Actually, yeah. Deep waters and bad problems. But, as countless Africans and Asians can attest, some of the safest times in their history is under British Colonial auspices. (Not, so much, some of the other powers. And not in terms of what we now call human rights, but simply rule of law, life expectancy, infrastructure, schools, trades, etc.) Heck, I'll even go further out on a limb to be sawed-off and criticized: doesn't anyone here, with numbers, think people, even the natives, are better off in the "Rainbow Nation" now or back in the day or Rhodesia or the modern Zimbabwe? In terms of diseases, death rates, murder and rape rates, HIV/AIDS, infrastructure, food production, etc etc?)

The Origin of the word Swastika
The word 'swastika' derives from an Asian Indian Sanskrit word, in which the meaning of the swastika stands for universal welfare. "Swasti" means well-being of one and all and "ka" means symbol. The swastika is one of the most ancient of all symbols and used as a symbol for peace, life and good luck. It represented the revolving sun, fire or life.

Swastika symbolism is destroyed
The ancient Swastika was adopted as a symbol of the Nazi Party of Germany in 1920 who used it as a symbol of the Aryan race. The events leading to WW2 destroyed the original meaning of the swastika and completely reversed its original meaning from peace and life to war and death. The true meaning of the swastika and its symbolism has probably been destroyed forever but the symbol belonged to ancient cultures long before the terrible events of the 20th century.

http://www.warpaths2peacepipes.com/native-american-symbols/swastika-symbol.htm
Well aware, but was not about the American "Indian" use of it also. Thanks though, like the "Roman," and later "Bellamy" salute taught to school kids. The NAZI stuff eliminated its use (here, still used in Mexico and much of South American when taking a pledge, assuming an office or rank.)

You have to have a negotiating partner to negotiate.  Israel doesn't have one.

They've made so many mistakes - from not killing Arafat very early on, to giving Gaza to Hamas.  They're in a tough spot, they've been incredibly patient with an enemy who will accept nothing short of the destruction of Israel, but they can't do what any other nation would do and wipe Hamas, the PA, and the rest of the militias out militarily - as that would draw their neighbors in against them.
Do you think if Eisenhower made a different decision it would be different?

I've never done any of that but my wife wants me to on ancestry.com.  It is pretty much a known fact with me though.
A cousin's wife did a DNA test and, contrary to family legend and looks of some people in her family, no Indian blood at all. Though I have a friend who looks whiter than me who got a small grant and, maybe, admission-help to law school by claiming some percentage of Cherokee. Which he said was true via Family Tree history, no DNA tests then, but also freely admitted it was, basically, a scam as he had no current connection or involvement with Indians, didn't live on a Res, etc. Okie though so could be true. But, like Warren, just using it to get ahead and for academic admission. Though he didn't play it up for votes etc later, like her. What will be interesting is that now that 'whites,' (more properly "white, non-Hispanic," are a minority in some cities and due to the latest decision by the Court if a school or business will be allowed to promote 'whites' in quotas and hiring? I've also known several businesses abusing the "minority" business stuff. So hilarious. Hire some black guy as a front and then get small business loans, preferential supplier status to companies, etc. Not sure if that stuff is still happening or if they cracked down on it.

Well, I can believe the criminality (not sure that is something to be proud of maybe quitting the drink and getting a job and one could afford his own pass) but the song-writer left out the part about that strange, uncomfortable tingling sensation he got when he started getting touched in the rectory or locker-room (assuming the singer was underage as the Catholic-types tend to not like them once puberty sets in.) "Don't worry, my son, this is a special confirmation procedure" or, if you were unfortunate to be an Irish lass who "got into trouble." One thing I never understood. Abortion, or even condoms or things that just prevent a pregnancy, are bad and sinful but it is ok to throw babies down the well or bury them in the yards of the 'unwed mother homes' and orphanages? Bad to have sex out of wedlock or without pregnancy or purpose but ok to abuse children, usually male. Homosexuality is bad for consenting adults but ok if you are a Priest or club staff and the boy is underage? Weird, those Papists.

Even the past this was so, but under the Obama administration and he constant desire to deflect all the Muslim terrorism to the potential problems with "typical white people," as he calls them, returning Veterans, and Christians. And people like Morris Dees needs these groups- even if they are faked or agent provocateurs or 'astro-turfed'- to make $$$.

It's too bad that the NRA is not using more of its influence to focus on the enforcement problem as opposed to rallying the troops only when a new law is proposed. Typically, the NRA only talks about enforcement as a way of placing blame on the government.

No problem with placing blame where it's deserved but how about actively demanding that the government do a better job at enforcing existing gun laws? Again, they do talk about the subject but not very loudly.
What also is funny is those on the more fringe or ultra conservative think the NRA sells out gun owners too much! Haha.

I, on the other hand, welcome a papal bull for the eighth crusade.  I think with modern technology, it could be a lot more fun to march to Jerusalem slaughtering, burning, pillaging and raping.  Naturally, once we reach Jerusalem, it is only fair to expect the modern day Saladin to come destroy us... But at least we would die fighting the infidel rather than becoming a quadriplegic after a keyboard warrior curses us.  ;)

Come on Francis!
I don't see why modern technology couldn't be brought to bear? It is stupid to be fighting with guns except in certain targeted special operations. We know who the enemy is and we've mapped the human genome. Some boys at Fort Detrick could come up with some solution, likely. Even if was targeted for their crops, water supply, and livestock so that they starve and fight each other off (therefore, maybe, not violating some 'human rights' rules and having plausible deniability.) And whatever happened to the "Neutron Bomb?" That way those precious relics being destroyed by Muslims and the oil&gas fields would still remain. Kidding, of course.
