And last night he said Alex Jones is an "award-wineen" reporter.  I guess that makes Jones an "Award Weiner?"

I guess one "Award Weenie" would recognize another.

Yes, I can hear Cusco, followed by "Midnight in the Desert" playing now.  I don't think Noory's ever played "Midnight in the Desert," fortunately, so it's remained uniquely Art.  One less thing for The Nooron to screw up.

...It makes one  wonder what is being tested in the desert skies these days.

Oh, man, that reminds me of Art being in "the high desert," not far from Area 51.  It was as if he was at ground zero for high strangeness.  A much better location to broadcast C2C from, versus a hole in St. Louis or "The Land of Lindsay Lohan." ::)

George Noory is the perfect real world Ted Baxter.  I made that joke when I first joined but no one responded.

That's the scary thing.  Ted was just a character on a TV show.  Noory is apparently an actual "human bean."

....I wonder... do the North Koreans still name their missiles "dongs?"

Don't know about their missiles but apparently they've taken over "Ding Dongs" from Hostess.

Last night 4/16/13, Noory compared himself to Walter Cronkite and Edward R. Murrow...

I wish there were a portal to Bizarro World where George Noory is an excellent host with great journalistic integrity and Alex Jones makes rational observations with the goal of building a stronger America.  I started thinking this is the Bizarro World but then I realized the sad truth is that there's a lot of money to be made appealing to those with poor critical thinking skills.

Well, there was a host by the name of Art who could entertain us for hours, with somebody such as Michio Kaku.   Then PremRat took over to bring to life what you've described in your second sentence....."From the city of angels off the Pacific Ocean......... I'm Jorch Nooree."  :P

Pat Summerall, my all-time favorite sports play-by-play announcer, dead today at 82.

One of the best.  He was teamed for awhile in the early '70s with one of my favorites, Ray Scott, who always brings back memories of "The Ice Bowl."  Man, was pro football great drama back then.  8)   Can't stand a lot of the so-called sport announcers of today, with the "drooling"  :P  Brent Musberger coming to mind.  He should have hung it up ten years ago.

I'm guessing an obedient Renfield (George) will sit there and eat bugs while Dracula (Jones) spews his paranoid, conspiratorial idiocy.

"What about Ouija boards, Alex?  Could they be involved?...ribbit..."

Is George going to  challenge Alex Jones tonight?  Or will he sit there meekly and agree with everything Jones alleges about the Boston Marathon bombings being a government job?

I'm sure Jorch will add his usual, insightful commentary, such as "amaz'n!" and "whut about portals, Alex?"  ::)

george noory: I have extended an olive branch out to Art for ten years...for some reason he has remained a recluse. I believe Art has four children from various relationships.

gnoory (what he's really saying):  I have pestered Art for ten years whenever I thought I could use him for my own benefit.  Art has always had the good sense to avoid contact with me.  Art has been "gettting around" more than Wilt "The Stilt" Chamberlain could have ever dreamed.

gnoory: You are Insiders and you deserve to have many many benefits.

Gag.... :P .   gnoory (between the lines):  The rest of the masses are unclean infidels and unworthy of The Great One.

Wow, he's a flirting with this gal.  He asked her if she's got a lot of money!  Way to be condescending with the Budweiser comment too.

Jorch embarrasses dirty old men.

White noise is more entertaining than Noory.  ;)

Wells INTENDS to be political.  Noory has no clue what his politics are.  He's just looking for thuh  trooth.

"Thuh trooth,"..... ;D  How has this clown stayed on the air for over ten years?  It's Beyond Belief.  :P

I really liked some of Clyde's early shows (the Thanksgiving one about the Roanoke colony was especially good), but he just can't stay away from politics.

First off, I don't want politics when I'm looking for a paranormal/ufo/strange phenomena show.

Same problem with "Ground Zero" here.  It's politics all day on the radio and I'm looking for something different at night.  I'm just not interested when Clyde gets into politics and conspiracy stuff.  To much mania and hyperbole when he goes off on conspiracies and his favorite topic,  memes.  ::)   I never thought it would be so difficult to come-up with something at least partially similar to Art Bell.  :(

At least Ian isn't Jorch Snooree.  That's a big plus.

I'm glad he's back at bat this Sunday.  Just have to skip 6 nights of MoreCrap radio with Jorch Nooree and FrankenBong.

In summary, Noory sucks.

Jorch would look better if he just wore pizza rolls on his head instead of that Kiwi rag.

Interesting.  A fascinating aircraft.  I've only seen one once, when it flew over an airshow.  I wouldn't want to be it's target.  I wonder how many UFO reports it's caused over the years.  Even with it now being a known stealth aircraft, I could still see it causing some puzzled sighters, especially at a distance.

I've always loved the story of the B-2 being shown to Jack Northrup.  His dream of a fully successful flying wing finally realized after years of frustation, with such craft as the B-35.

From Wiki:
"Almost three decades after he retired,in 1980, Northrop's dream was achieved as the military revealed the new B-2 Spirit. This new bomber was based after Northrop's "Flying Wing" B-35, and is the biggest stealth aircraft used by the military. When Northrop saw the new plane unveiled in 1980 he stated that, "Now I know why God has kept me alive for the last twenty-five years." Northrop lived for one more year and in 1981 he died in Glendale, California."

Chew... have you noticed more B-2 activity in your area since North Korea has started saber rattling?

All the buttons and switches on Tommy's gear no doubt have a special, "tactile" feel after years of fast food abuse.

Do you disagree?  How many Americans know Canada is their biggest national trading partner, and how often do Americans mention Canada when they talk about their friends and allies?  How many know there are 35 million of us?  Canada is a footnote in the United States.

What most Americans know about Canada.

Not necessarily in that order, eh?

Did I dream that Snoorey is auctioning off a dinner with him for a charity?

I looked here on Coastgab to see if the posters were going wild - but it must have been a dream/nightmare.  The possibility of dining on soggy 7-11 sandwiches and lukewarm pizza rolls or actually eating anything with him is revolting.

Dinner with Jorch and Tommy.  What a delight that would be.  Jorch rambling on about what a swell guy he is and spitting in your food as he talks, while Tommy is fingering the rest of your plate.   :P

Blame the sales weasels at the station...the Ad Council gets airtime when sponsors can't be found. Very common in overnight radio(cough)

One of the local stations keeps playing the same PSA's over-and-over again.  Found this on the net:

"How is the Ad Council funded?
General operating contributions from more than 375 individuals, corporations, foundations, and constituent organizations are the Ad Council's principal source of funding."

I wish the busy-bodies and "do-gooders" who fund and make this crap would get a hobby that was something other than telling everybody else how to run their life.  >:(

So-called public service announcements telling us what we should be doing.  Who the hey are these twits and what makes them think they know what's best for other people?  How about minding your own business.

George asks (about the BEK's): "could they be human ouija boards?"

No Jorch, they're actually human portals.  ::)

I always thought you got the best coffee in convenience stores.  Like how you get the best turkey sandwiches..... oh, never mind.  ;)

What happens if someone bids, wins, and the Snoorge looks so different in person the winning bidder doesn't recognize him?

Well, I'd say if they bid and win, they actually lose.  If Snoorge looks so different in person the bidder doesn't recognize him and leaves, then they win.
