I agree. As long as someone is of legal age, why does it matter? People are so hung up on what others are doing. That's sad. If two people are happy and find each other, than what's wrong with that?

I remember when he got married to Airyn.  People were calling Art terrible names similar to what is inferred in the post with the picture.  I guess some people don't like to see others be happy.  I am glad Art Bell found happiness after Ramona passed away.

Wells is on right now and he's blaming the government for Angelina Jolie having a double mastectomy.  I think I'm gonna puke!  :P

And yet you keep listening, week after week. You can't stop can you?  It is an insanity.

That's been the assumption from the minute he started stinking up the Coast airwaves.

As for his being pro-pot...George talks to witches and psychics whom some "Christians" regard as ungodly and sinful, but he still panders to the far right. In other words, there is some variation in a few areas, but the overall thrust is still fringe-right-wingnut-paranoia.
I want to understand what you mean by  'fringe-right-wingnut-paranoia.'  What are some of the tenets of this belief system Wells holds?

He is extremist right. But I don't think of that when I listen to him, I think burned out and incompetent.  Probably arrogant too. Enough that he couldn't help resist viewing coastgab and chiming in to his own defense.

I don't know, not too many on the far right would to a show about the legalization of pot.

Assuming he'll take over Ian's spot, and maybe Knapp if he wants to lighten his schedule, then maybe Premiere's trying to get him ready to replace George and make Coast a right-wing political show.

Premiere's bread and butter is Beck, Limbaugh, and Hannity.  Wouldn't offering Wells overnight fit in much better with them?  If you ran a right-wing talk station, wouldn't you want a political show overnight to keep your core audience satisfied?

I think George's days may be numbered.  Unfortunately, so might Coast as a ride into the unexplained side of existence.

Oh really, you think that Wells is right wing?  He struck me more as a libertarian.

Romney slips up on Libya during debate

The Telegraph (from the U.K.) mischaracterized this part of last years debate. Ms. Candy Crowley admitted later that she was in fact wrong, but let that not stop the left wing press from perpetuating a lie. Romney was of course accurate it is brief account of how the events unfolded.  Obama even used the video excuse at the United Nations.

I hate to gloat, but...

Seems now Wells' opening hour is to be routinely devoted to his shtick of anti-govt aspersions and conspiracy fantasy. Reeves?  Radio host my ass.  A basement web streamer-poseur who's conflated all the "forbidden archaeology" related to North America he's heard on C2C in 15+ years into a screwy..and baseless...Masonic-Annunaki-OT melange of concealment and deception.  A prop for Wells; nothing more.

Prem Radio has clearly turned up the gain on making C2C the late night fix for Beck's "patriotic" paranoia fans.  Smooth, soft-spoken Wells and his ilk of paranoia feeders are poison for America.  After hearing some of Friday's waste of radio spectrum, I predict Noory will be gone in 2013, replaced by JBW.

Wow, I'm really feeling the hate today.

Was that before or after the reputed 100 000 downloads for the new plastic printed gun?

The statistics were released a few days ago, so it would seem that it was before.

Stats released this week show that gun sales rising, but gun crimes falling.

Is it me, or is the news media more concerned with Hillary's political future than they are with finding out what happened in Libya?

QuoteHowever, instead of giving us a microSD card slot, the built-in memory could be upped to 32GB. The Nexus 4 can currently be purchased with either 16GB or a pathetic 8GB of storage space.

I'd rather have the microSD card slot.

First, Art Bell retired - get over it.  The show has moved on the the "Art Bell Show" days.  Yeah, Art Bell was a great talk show host.
All talk show hosts sell something.  I don't understand why it is a problem.  People can decide for themselves whether or not they need/want a product.   It is a free country.  Wells hosts one (sometimes two) nights a week. This hardly makes the show as a whole political.  If you don't like it, don't listen.  It is a free country.

In conclusion, things change.

There was something about Anthony Gucciardi I didn't like.  Maybe it was his smirkiness.  Maybe it was the 100 pages of statistics he had in front of him.  "I've got 100 pages of statistics in front of me, and I'm not kidding about that."  He was also doing a lot of complaining about how law enforcement handled the Boston crisis, saying certain actions and tactics weren't justified because it wasn't "hot pursuit."  Really?  If that wasn't hot pursuit I don't know what was.  He also sounded like he was twelve.  When I got home I googled his picture and - bingo - he was twelve.  When did going around collecting statistics replace the good old fashioned youthful past time of sniffing glue?  Memories.

He was just making the case that the police didn't have probable cause (4th amend) to go around searching into every home.    I don't know anything about the man, but if he is more interested in statistics and government, God bless him - a lot better than being involved in other popular diversions of the day.

And to continue I feel that libertarians have it wrong by always saying its the government restricting our liberites.  Not only are corporate powers directing the agenda (and have been since the industrial revolution) but they are placing more restrictions on my "freedoms" than the government.  Why are corporations allowed to keep and share data on all of us?  How are credit reports a barometer of my driving skills (effecting the price of insurance)?  Why does a missed payment in 1988 mean I can't apply for certain jobs?  Why are there so many companies tracking my internet movements through cookies?  GPS phone?  Grocery purchases through loyalty cards?  Why is my privacy and personal information the price to participate in this economy?  Who chartered or elected TransUnion, Equifax, or Experian?  Why are Wells and his ilk always worried about black helicopters and FEMA trailers when the real restriction comes from the commodities market trader driving upthe price of everday essentials without ever taking delivery?
"Corrupt totalitarian officials" these people are MORONS!

I believe most libertarians think there is an increasing partnership between government and corporations.

Celente's another hypocrite who spent his life as a proud member of the Looting Establishment; promoting all the ideas and policies that he reviles....now that he's made his.fortune...while offering not one meaningful suggestion on how to repair the nation that his ilk's life goal was to loot for personal profit.

Wells perpetually whines about the selling out of America, ignoring how his contribution has been a life spent as a paid shill existing in a reality mostly defined by naive, drugged-out 20-something rock band musicians...when, that is, he was coherent.

Now they both exploit the naive, who think people in govt are the enemy and that we need only return America to 1960...or even better, to 1790.

Are you a Marxist?  You come off sounding like one.

Most of the people who don't like Wells do so because of his politics, and then they find any flaw in which they can exploit.  In the end their attacks become ad hominem fallacies.

As for living in 1960, or more ideally, 1790, hell yeah, I can't imagine what it must have been like to live with so much freedom.  The Americans of yesteryear really had it good.

The c2c schedule for this weekend and next week is now up at the c2cam website.
I see that along with his regular Sat night slot, John B. Wells is also listed as the host for this Sunday's c2c show as well..

Great News!  I hope they give him the Sunday slot full time with the exception of Ian Punnett's night.
