I don't listen to C2C anymore, but from reading the show summaries, they seem to divide the show into halves now because Noory can't sustain an in-depth interview. Good call by Premier. If the offensive line can't block, quick throws is the way to go.

If you're wondering why the front right tire is a bit smaller and wobbly it's because it's the spare. Dave got hungry.

oh man that's too damn funny

From now on that's what I say when I don't understand something. It a total conversation killer.

Here's some constructive criticism, Moron - instead of agreeing with everything your guest says. say something like, "How so?"

We need to make an expanded list of Norryisms. We'd have more instances of this than, "I don't believe in coincidences."

Just once I'd like a guest call him on it. "Really, George? Why do you agree? What are the laws of physics? What are the laws of magic?"

Then asking, "How long has it been like that?" Oberon -"Huh?"
WTF! Is he just asking random questions.
Hahahahaaa! You can't make this stuff up.

Noory is the radio Andy Kaufmann.

The guy is straight up trolling every night.

Genuis.

Pity you weren't around when A T & T launched Telstar. You'd have made a lot of money buying A T & T back then.

Looks like the inspiration for Lucas' Deathstar

Oh awesome. Another night of Kennedy assassination conspiracy with John Wells - the most gullible host since snorry. Time to turn the radio off. Goodnight you all. #freeartbell

I can't stand his melodramatic sighs. He isn't gullible, he just sensationalizes everything.

Sirius was the first stock I ever bought, had my mom get some shares with my busboy tips in like 1995. The stock was 2 bucks then. It's not much more now. Pathetic.

If I might be so bold, SaucyRossy has the video talent needed to make a great viral video.  I would have mentioned it in the statement, but it was best not to include someone else's name, especially without having consulted them first.

I agree. He has more power than the lawyers in favorably resolving this crisis for Art and us fans.

Art Bell is the fucking talk radio GOAT.
Sirius holding him to that non-compete after misleading him about worldwide streaming is spiteful and malicious. Sirius LIED, and Art will be free.

I hope you can get back on the air soon, Art. It might be time to take the gloves off and go head-to-head with Coast. I know you've expressed sentimentalism in not wanting to do that, but what's left of your baby is a zombie corpse. There's nothing real left.

Sirius should have, in good faith, disclosed the problems with their streaming to Art before they tried to sign him.

I really don't get why Sirius thinks it's a non-issue, or at least not worth fixing in a timely manner.

Vince Gilligan would have pulled Breaking Bad from AMC without hesitation if the channel cut out every 5 minutes.

It's starting to sound like Art is trying to get the anger of him abruptly quitting on us again off of him and trying set up others as the bad guys.   Seems Art wanted  out and NOW is trying to nullify the anger against him for quitting on everybody once again.

Hope i'm wrong but this is sounding like bull.

I do think he is using the Sirius streaming problems as an excuse to reach a wider audience via his website so Bob Crane sells more gadgets, he gets better callers, and C2C has viable competition.

He should have just gone back to broadcasting from KNYE and streamed from ab.com, and only add affiliates that met his format/commericals demands. It seems like every time he signs an agreement he gets taken to the woodshed. Instead of the extraterrestrial/terrestrial radio meme, it should have been UNIVERSAL radio.

It feels like theater. It feels like a narrative is being built to make this whole situation seem like a series of unfortunate events.

And the audience numbers shouldn't of mattered that much after less than two months, he could of actively renegotiated his contract while still on air with Sirius.

I agree. I wish he gave it more time. I wish more planning was put into the show and more testing was done so technical issues would have been known about before any deals were signed.

But in the end, it sounds to me that an old quarterback didn't want to go through a rebuilding process. Superbowl or bust. And that wasn't going to happen on ESPN72

This whole past week feels like lip service to soften and calm the harsh backlash that was coming from the base fans.

I wish it didn't feel like that, but it does.

If Art knew he was going to end the show if Sirius said no then he should have had an attorney ready to get him out of the no compete.

Paul, I believe you guys care, and want to keep doing the show but this whole fiasco was handled as poorly as the Obama care roll out.

And I want nothing more than to have to eat my words.

If this was all theater, I will never forgive.

My take on it is that a "Brett Favre" came out of retirement, got blown out in the first two games, realizes no superbowl, and retires again.

Without streaming there is no way the show can compete with C2C. Dark Matter was a glorified podcast... at least initially. It could have grown more. I think Art thought more than 10,000 of the 27 million subscribers would listen.

Art,

Are you at liberty to discuss the other offers you had to return to radio that you declined before the Sirius opportunity?
