Listening to mysterious universe now. Its not that bad actually, much better than the filth I have been finding over the last month or so. I may give paracast a chance when I have time. never heard of dark matters either but its worth a shot.

Kinda what I figured MV. While I love being able to listen to a fuckton of stuff I wouldn't otherwise be able to pick up, the ability for any shit head to pick up a mic an pronounce themselves host is awful. For every 1 decent show there are 20 god awful piles of absolute shit and I just don't feel like wading through it anymore to find that one hidden gem. I do however, enjoy your show and sorta wish there were more shows akin to that out there.

I doubt there will ever be anyone like  Bell on air again. I had a little hope for Punnet for awhile but that ship sailed when he had the horse guy on. Remember that turd of a show?

Hi guys, been awhile since I've been here.

I stopped listening to Coast to Coast nearly two years ago. The way I see it, that ship sank a looooong time ago. BUT, I need something to listen to. I miss having some sort of outlet for my interest in the paranormal and since the art bell stream vanished I have pretty much just been listening to news broadcasts. So I have been exploring podcasts and what not and all I have to say is holy shit. It's like someone gave the current audience of Coast to Coast a mic. I DO NOT want to listen to other 'believers' pat each other on the back and peddle their own books/websites/services exclusively. This is especially true of any Ghost themed show, as ALL of them have their own little paranormal investigation squads with enough pseudoscience and pomp to make them feel credible. And some of their websites look like museums to web design in 1998.

Do any of you know of any decent hosts out there that deal with the paranormal from a skeptical or unbiased viewpoint? That was one of the things they kept me listening to Art Bell. While he did allow alot of absolute shit on his show, I usually had a sense that he was on the fence and wouldn't just sit there without challenging/engaging the ideas being presented. I have listened to nearly 50 different shows over the past month and usually cant make it past the 20 minute mark from the sheer 'THIS IS FACT, SILLY NONBELEIVERS' attitude of the hosts.  I'm not really looking for 'skeptic' radio either,  as I don't want to listen to "THERE IS NO GOD YOU SILLY PLEB" radio either. So do any of you know of any hosts out there who engages with the same spirit as Art Bell?  Open to possibility but staying grounded in reality. I figure this is a stretch but figured I would ask before giving up the ghost of finding a  decent show.

Heh, it wasn't that so much as what he said. It was like he was being egotistical in the third person, and sounded very much like something he'd say. I dunno, it was just a really weird feeling I got when I read it.

I think putting himself in the third person might be too much for Noory. Not sure he could handle thinking that abstractly.  He probably had Tommy write it for him then he typed it in himself to give himself the impression he is a big boy.

Honestly I think he has posted here once. I don't want to say the guy's name because I don't wanna get anything started...(and I can't remember it right now).. but I had this really deep suspicion about him. He made one thread with one post and never returned, but in that post he wrote very much like I'd expect Noory to speak.

Why? Did he type in mispronunciation and slurallhiswordstogether?

I don't think I am going to touch this one. All yours FG.

It brings a tear to my eye seeing how everyone is pulling together to celebrate how much Noory sucks. Heartwarming I tells ya.

Okay, let me preface this by apologizing if any this has been brought to your attention before. I also didn't find a record of these names on c2c or the forums, so I don't think this guest has appeared.

However, it seems to me that I have found the most noortastic, bat-shit insane, illogical, religio/new age crackpot potential topic in Noory's history. I present you with Sara Lyara Estes, channeller of the heavenly hosts. She has EVERYTHING. She prophesies, shes hooked on 2012, shes has some kind of crazy ass angel cosmology, shes all about conspiracy ( the christomancers [wtf??] and hamas are working together to spray the artic with contrails to ward off 2012), shes covers reptilians, aliens, free masons, has direct contact with Jesus, does battle alongside him or some nonsense while claiming she is the anti christ. All this while wrapping everything around some weird judeo-christian/ new-age/ L-Ron hubbard world view.  I have been reading her posts for a couple of hours now and shes totally off her rocker.... which is right up Snoory's alley. I mean think of it, it is ALL of Noory's favorite subjects rolled into one fun filled interview! None of his question would be non sequitur!!!

Oh and i forgot to mention she claims to have invented all of this stuff (no shit)

"[Super conducting generator ... Flux compression generator ... Matter/antimatter generator ... Antimatter reactor ... Matter replicator ... Particle/element gun ... STM microscope ... Neutron gun ... Cheap neutron gun ... Dereplicator ... Homemade nuclear reactor ... Quantum computer ... Homemade breeder reactor ... Ion propulsion engine ... Real starship ... Gravity wave amplifier generator ... Thermite gun ... Electric cannon ..."

But apparently the inventing kick ass sci-fi shit gig doesn't pay well enough so she sells her books and oils.

Here is her blog. (Hasn't been updated in 2 years)
http://jesusdog.blogspot.com/  (ftp://http://jesusdog.blogspot.com/)
I dare you to make something coherent out of it.

Here is her website, where you can procure yourself special protective oils, read her gospels or drink her kool aid and get ready for the transition.
http://www.operationterra.com/index.html  (ftp://http://www.operationterra.com/index.html)

From what I have gathered, she once followed this guy, Ted Jesus Christ God,  http://tedjesuschristgod.org/ (ftp://http://tedjesuschristgod.org/), but broke off and left him in his own little secluded area of loony on ther interwebs while taking up a much more lucrative spot . Oh and he has a myspace, http://www.myspace.com/tedisacomingofgodtoearth (ftp://http://www.myspace.com/tedisacomingofgodtoearth).

So if the producers of C2C do read this forum, I beseach you! Its 4 hours of Noory Gold! Do not deny us!

I'm wondering if George has ants in his Bar B Que again this year.

Thanks so much Sybil! Thats about as patriotic as I can muster.

I am hoping for a nest of these in his little used barbque.

I think he'd rather give you one. Hes creepy like that.

EvB, I love you. Really. You are half the gloop that holds this turd sandwich together.

I have never really payed attention to the score. Having the highest score on a forum feels like winning the Special Olympics. But I'll clicky away for great justice and higher numbers when I remember.

That's funny, that is exactly what I said about your meager score.  Exciting, isn't it?

Wasn't your score just 23? I gave you a point when I logged on not an hour ago. Could have sworn it was 23 after that.

Absolutely. But have you ever run into a psychic vampire? Ha-ha-ha-ha.

Every night, he hosts a radio show. Drains my soul by speaking in slurs and reading questions off of mystical que cards that were handed down by the dark lord himself. QUE CARDS FROM HELL! THAT DRAIN SOULS! NOORY SURVIVES BY SUCKING OUR LIFE FORCE!

In an alternate crazed universe george noory is wonderful. How fucked up would that be.
#23
Ever notice how a fairly large portion of noory's callers don't own computers? That says something.

Is this one of those beautiful mind sorta schizophrenia induced coded message thingies? If not... lol, wut?

Well buddy, at least George can spell. Good grief!

Prove it. Given his oratory skills, I doubt it.

Well now that it looks like the shitstorm has settled, let me say, I for one, am glad to have you guys here.  Here's to the future! Glad to have  this bunch around.

Yeah, I meant the picture too. I should have phrased that a little better. Funny how it goes either way on that one.

Emothionally? Well that depends on the guy doesn't it? Personally, I would interpret it as vanity. I too prefer the au naturale. However, I would imagine 90% of men couldn't give a shit one way or another. And if they happen to be an asshole, its going to be ammo in a forthcoming argument.
