You all will never know how much I feel for you for what you are doing in trying to support me
but I am going to ask you to stop. This will only make matters worse.

Here is the bottom line, this is a job I took only because of my love of Radio, not for the money,
heck 75K is not ever going to make me rich and if Sirius does not want me they sure will not take
me because their Web Site is messed up, it will most likely just piss them off. That does not change
the love I fell for all of you for trying.

I still feel I was right in my decision to halt what I felt had no real way forward and would make the
same decision again today, I only took that decision after receiving a no to any further remedy.

Truly I do not understand why they would say no to me wanting a way to stream, then turn around and
replace me with Coast which is doing exactly what I wanted to do, maybe they we just pissed. Either way
thank you for what you are trying to to, I love you all,  but please stop.

The facts of the matter are that you made a deal w/ SiriusXM which you pimped out on six weeks later.  I've been listening to you since the mid-90s.  I live in Nevada, I could go downtown and shake Ross Mitchell's hand tomorrow morning if I wanted to.  I resubscribed to SiriusXM specifically on your account.  You pimped out and you had no regard for me.

You made your bed, now you need to lay in it.  No one in their right mind is going to broadcast you after this stunt.  I used to have a great deal of respect for you.  Alas it was sorely misplaced.

Yeah and want some honesty? I thought it was BS...

Wrong to reward Sirius for their behavior? Again, who walked off their show exactly?

Regardless, I (and many others) gave a rats ass about Sirius and thought Art was foolish for trying that route...Yet we supported him anyway. Sirius did what they said they would do- Art did not. I still have 9 million channels of bullshit I dont listen to- Just no Art Bell.

EDIT- Plus Art is an 'entertainer' guys (not your Bro) who spins things and is damn good at it- Lots of folks have this talent... Because Art sounds sincere means jack shit. My father was a detective and can tell you stories about people who can make you believe just about anything (and these are not iconic heroes you WANT to believe)

But again. This is all moot if Art would have not quit. I have no way of knowing the truth (nor do you...) but I can connect dots and use common sense here to draw my conclusion- Which is that this is an elaborate excuse and Art Bell is gone for good.

Time will tell (if he is gone for good-) and as for the 'truth' here? We will see if this ever makes it to court (it wont...)

You know it. No one is going to touch Art Bell again after this stunt.

If people here do not wish me to post at all I can do that, I only continued here because I kind of embraced this
forum when I started the show and so I was trying to keep you all up to date, it seemed natural.

Quitter is as quitter does.  You don't have a show anymore by your own design.

Thanks for asking, I am fine. Nothing much to say that I have not already said but good evening!

However I will repeat, people here have no idea the intense talks that were going on from about 3 days
after the show started about the stream drops, I do understand however how it seemed abrupt to the listener.

Also, the deal we tried to make on Wed, two days after the show stopped was a very good one and after saying
they took it very seriously they stopped communicating. I will say again, I think something else is going on.

For those above who listened and did not like the show anyway, it should not even be a issue worth talking about
unless you just like seeing a message from yourself.

I've been listening since the mid-90s to great effect. I don't need to see a message from myself Art, I need to hear you get back on the air w/ SiriusXM as you apparently agreed to do at one time.  I resubscribed on your account and your account only.  I have been one of your greatest supporters over the years, and I do not appreciate your callous attitude towards me.

So I hire this guy (lets call him Art) to help me with my landscape business. A couple weeks later I hear he (Art) is publicly slamming my business by telling all customers and potential customers how crappy my tools are. Next thing I hear is he (Art) is telling my customers that I should just give away free yard services for a year until I get my tools up to par. I say no, he (Art) quits. Now he (Art) wonders why I won't return phone calls ... (Sorry Art, but you left a bad taste in my mouth on how you handled that)

Dump that chump.  He has demonstrated that he has no integrity.  He made a deal and a few weeks later it's not good enough for him anymore.  All the while he was ripping George a new a****** over those few weeks, he made it clear who the a****** really is in the end.

@ArtBellCom just tweeted.  Nothing from SiriusXM yet... :'(

I think Art vastly overestimates his importance and he seems bound and determined to prove it.  How many bridges must you burn before you understand?

Art has sunk to a new low.  He made a commitment to Sirius/XM and by extension all of us who subscribed and he turned his back.  I resubscribed to Sirius/XM last August specifically on his account.  His s*** doesn't stink and he doesn't care who knows it.  Instead of leaving sleeping dogs lie, he tries to make a comeback and makes a mess of it and leaves a lot of bad feeling in its wake.

Smooth move Art!

Radio and Podcasts / Alienation - George Noory Style
September 08, 2011, 07:58:02 PM
I remember listening to the George Noory Show, I mean 'Coast to Coast AM', not that long after Mr. Noory took the helm.  He must have had a burr under his saddle that night because he took some time pointing out to the international audience how much he just 'didn't care' for Nevada and the landscape and so on and so forth.  I couldn't believe my ears what with Art a long time resident of Nevada, never mind everyone else in Nevada that heard him that night.

Now let's face it, Nevada is not for everyone.  I've lived here for as long as I can remember so I ought to know.  But for the love of Mike do you, as host of an international radio show, choose to alienate a segment of your audience just to fill air time?  I think not but if you are George Noory you do.

Any other accounts of alienation - George Noory style?

He may have fetal alcohol syndrome.
I thought it was delusions of grandeur...

Having no alternative but to listen once again to Mr. Noory, alas I detect no improvement in his timing, curiosity or delivery.  I have no ill will for Mr. Noory, but I wish for his retirement.  C2C is too important a show to leave in his hands.

Everytime I see that "George's child" thing on the site, I just know he'll end up taking over for Jerry Lewis on the MDA Telethon. Could you imagine 20 hours of George introducing all his buddies like ZZ Top's Billy Gibbons and his favorite band ever, Whitesnake? Also watch for the running gag as Doug Hutchinson looks for his next wife backstage among a group of high school majorettes from Oklahoma.
God help us if you're right.  It's bad enough having to listen.  Twenty hours of George on the tube might be cause to get rid of it for good.

Radio and Podcasts / George, spare us please!
August 14, 2011, 10:22:16 AM
Greetings from Nevada!  I have been disgusted with George Noory for many years now.  He singlehandedly ruined Coast to Coast AM for me and obviously many others.  During those years I always thought to myself "There must be others like myself who also understand that this George Noory is a complete idiot."  Well I guess I've found ya'll.

The name of the show might just as well be changed to "The George Noory Show."   That way George would get a further boost in ego and the listening public could then be more discerning.  It would be a WIN/WIN for everyone!

What's really pathetic though is the George Noory website (I mean Coast to Coast AM sorry…)  Not only does George have his picture prominently displayed in the header, but he has his picture flashed among the photos of the poor kids who are looking for sponsorship.  That's beyond tacky!  I don't go there anymore lest my 'hit' on his website help support his contract renewal.

Mr. Noory, please spare us!
