I'd listened to Art Bell off and on when I was in high school in the late 80's but sometime around 93/94 I started dating a girl who couldn't get to sleep without listening to C2C and so, slowly, she passed the disease onto me. I didn't do much listening to Art around the time Ramona died and when he remarried, so when I did tune in and heard Noory I was immensely disappointed just about every time. He just...didn't....get...it.
I've tried Rense and some other conspiratorial radio shows, podcasts- even went searching deep enough to find Bill Jenkins who, in some ways, is even superior to Art. I've grabbed most of the torrents of Art's old radio programs, etc, etc.
But Snoory is the worst. Even the short-lived TV show he did for SCI-FI was a snoozer, with lines like "Did you think it was a demon?" and "Ian, have you ever had to run for your life from a witch?" I don't have anything else to contribute except for the gag reflex which Noory causes to kick in.
Glad to know I'm not the only one.
