Politics / Car Bomb? Fonseca "Panama" Papers journalist dead

I thought there was a thread on this but cannot find in search so reposting an update:

Politics / Bergdahl Pleads Guilty
« on: October 16, 2017, 01:29:20 PM »
to charges of dissertation and misbehavior before the enemy. Sentencing to follow with no pre-arranged agreement. Obama infamous traded dangerous Taliban terrorists for him. And then there is the weirdness, and at least seeming in twitter rants, of his dad who grew an Islamic-style beard, spoke in Arabic and the press conference with Obama, and learned Pashto and Urdu (which itself is ok but some of his tweets are suspect.)
(There was a thread here but it has been archived, apparently.)

Bergdahl was stupid. He should have 'transitioned,' or at least claimed he wanted to transition- or was a homosexual and left his unit because of "bullying," and Obama would've likely granted him a pardon or clemency like he did Manning. Instead he might be looking at a long sentence. I'm not sure they will give him maximum sentence though.

Politics / Middle Kingdom- China news
« on: September 08, 2017, 11:28:53 PM »
While we worrying, rightfully so I have a relative who still can't get to his house in Houston except in a boat- worst hit neighborhood, about hurricanes there are stirring in Zhongguo. And with the nuclear machinations in N.Korea, the apparent "problems" with our Navy, the Chinese eating up islands (and making new ones) etc. We should pay attention. The media keeps on about the Russians, not that I trust them (Russians OR the Democrat media.) but who is the, at least, potential, threat, you gweilos?

"Reuters reported this week that the 66-year-old Fang, who accompanied Xi to his first meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump in April, is being questioned on suspicion of corruption. "

Random Topics / Hurricane Harvey
« on: August 24, 2017, 12:59:10 PM »
Tropical Storm Harvey has been upgraded to Category 1 Hurricane and expected to reach Category 3 when it hits shore. So flooding, storm surge, and damage is expected for some coastal counties and will affect air traffic and many schools are closed. I know some folks are leaving the area and coming up here "just in case."

Radio and Podcasts / Red Ice
« on: August 20, 2017, 11:16:36 AM »
Red Ice radio and associated websites have, supposedly, hacked by antifada, or someone, and sites are down. The show in recent years has become more and more "controversial" (cough-cough) so I could see it being a target. Especially with hacking and/or technology firms, financial services, and social media banning so-called "alt right" or "nationalist" stuff.

Paranormal - Conspiracy - UFOs - Etc. / Werewolves, Vampires, & Eclipses
« on: August 19, 2017, 09:26:52 PM »
How come no show, or even callers, have mentioned this critical issue on C2C and associated types of shows? Is there an effect? Does a lunar and solar eclipse differ in the effects? And what of vampires? Are they allowed out for a bite to eat during the afternoon when darkened? Dogmen, react like werewolves or more like regular canines at the time and maybe howl at the moon or attack rabbits and such? Is the totality map of this upcoming eclipse mean that Dogmen, Werewolves, and Vampires have changed their migration pattern or, in the case of vampires, bought up dreary old mansions and the like in those areas?

Politics / Obama's "cousin" loses, again.
« on: August 11, 2017, 06:36:40 PM »
Last time he lost he stirred up ethnic violence and they made some changes in their Constitution to assuage him and appointed him an office to stop the violence. Nobody has any evidence that Obama copied Odinga's tactics in the BLM group. So far he has refused to accept the election results. Obama infamously campaigned for his "cousin"* back when Obama was in the Senate, this was contrary to our rules.

*Odinga has claimed to be Obama's cousin and the BBC had reported this on the news years ago however Obama's family tree is so complex and confused and the ethnic practices of the Luo people the term "cousin" might have been used as term of endearment and not an actual blood-relationship.

Radio and Podcasts / Bob Romanik

Various "fake news," kidding, supporting this guy and copying stories for coverage. I never heard of him but interesting with regard to his broadcasts and FCC etc. Ok, and sometimes fun but lotsa more local and into-the-weeds local and Illinois state issues. But, odd, how Washington Post Amazon-news has mentioned him, so I listened to a few. Some funny stuff, but not knowing politics there I would say more better for the locals. Still funny guy and crazy backstory and how some folks use their money to get on the air, or want to be on the air. (Ghost, RCH, etc)

Politics / Jeffrey Epstein (update)
« on: June 22, 2017, 09:12:02 PM »

"Rather than let Epstein use his considerable influence to evade prosecution, she and top officials at the U.S. Justice Department crafted the plea deal."
What about his connections/friendships to major players in banking, real estate, publishers, royalty, and politicians etc etc across the political spectrum? Could that also be a reason for the "sweet deal?" And how did a teacher become a billionaire hedge-fund manager (and child abuser?) I'm guessing blackmail of people. Initial reports said there were hidden cameras at some of his properties.

Politics / Grenfell Tower Fire
« on: June 15, 2017, 12:01:15 PM »
What a horrible event and I'm sure lots of investigations will be done. It seemed to have gone up so quick. I heard one theory that a retro-fitting of some "green" environmental panelling to help retain heat in winter was a major source of the quick spread. Also residents, many of whom are "refugees" and Muslim, allegedly previously complained about lack of safety features, hard to get emergency vehicles to the area, lack of inspection of fire doors and extinquishers, no (or inadequate) sprinkler systems, and etc.
Also, instructions were to "stay in your flat" if a fire occured which due to the rapid spread seems, in hindsight, not the best advice.  As bad as it was from the videos of the fire it is amazing that more people weren't killed.

So far I've heard no information on the original source of the fire and, oddly, but I guess the GOP baseball team shooting has taken over news, I haven't heard any "conspiracy theories" about the fire from the usual folks.

Politics / Qatar Situation: "Sarajevo 1914, Doha 2017?"
« on: June 05, 2017, 07:25:11 PM »
An alarming headline from a Carnegie Foundation Graham Holdings Company outfit.  But it is an interesting situation. We have a big airbase there and do lots of business and educational swaps with them. Lots of ex-pats living there. Also ironic- the Saudis frowning upon funding terrorist and radical groups. Lucky we have Rex as DOS head, as he knows all these players quite well.

Politics / Fake Law
« on: May 27, 2017, 03:15:58 PM »
Even "never Trumpers" are getting concerned about some of these bizarre rulings and how now 'activist judges' don't even try to wrestle and 'interpret' law or precedent when they issue their 'progressive' and political rulings but outright ignore what the law plainly states.

Politics / Amazing article
« on: May 25, 2017, 12:23:27 AM »
I'm potentially violating some decorum and TOS. If so I apologize in advance MV, praise be, and delete it. BUT a bizarre story. And the "fake news" and aspects of AI news writing, outsourced writing, or no editors or basic proof-reading (not sure which are involved here.) And so, before whatever gets corrected, I post in full. See if you can find errors. Or if you can find just awkwardness or bad journalism, form, and grammar.

TAMPA, Fla. --
Two men were shot to death in Tampa, Fla., allegedly by their teenage roommate, allegedly because the victims were neo-Nazi sympathizers, as was the gunman until his recent conversion to Islam, WFTS reports.

"It's obviously very shocking. I'm concerned for my safety," said a nearby resident, who asked to remain fully anonymous, not showing his face or giving his name.

He lives near the apartment where Tampa police found two men shot dead after a teen led them there, admitting he'd killed eh,.

"Things happen, but it's the proximity to which I am to the event, as well as the details that have been slowly released," the man said.

Police said Devon Arthurs first went to a smoke shop Friday afternoon, where he took out a gun and told the two people to get on the ground and that he had killed someone.

Police convinced him to let those people go and turn himself in.

According to the police report, he then confessed he'd shot 22-year-old Jeremy Himmelman and 18-year-old Andrew Oneshuck at their apartment across the street from the sop. He told investigators the three shared a common neo-Nazi belief, until he converted to Islam.

He admitted he was angered by anti-Muslim sentiment and wanted to bring attention to his cause.

"I'm out, I'm leaving," the neighbor said. The details of the case were enough to convince him to move out, while others are left trying to understand how something like this could happen just feet away.

"It's crazy," said Shavaun Walker, neighbor. "It is a sad day, sad moment to know that our neighbors were shot down like that."

The story doesn't end there. When police were investigating the murders, they found bomb-making material. Police said those belonged to a fourth roommate, Brandon Russell - an admitted neo-Nazi and white supremacist, and a Florida national guardsman. On his dresser they found a framed photo of Oklahoma City bomber Timothy McVeigh. He was arrested.

Politics / Dead Spies and Informants
« on: May 20, 2017, 04:46:36 PM »
Note the "fake news" source for all of you Obamaphiles. Under the Obama administration we lost almost all of our human intelligence assets in China and crippled our intelligence gathering there.

"WASHINGTON — The Chinese government systematically dismantled C.I.A. spying operations in the country starting in 2010, killing or imprisoning more than a dozen sources over two years and crippling intelligence gathering there for years afterward.

Current and former American officials described the intelligence breach as one of the worst in decades."

Politics / Immigration Decisions: Courts, Legal, Illegals, & Refugees
« on: February 09, 2017, 06:33:02 PM »
It wasn't a surprise (the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals is notoriously leftist and should be broken up, not because of this, but because it is the most inefficient court and its jurisdiction is too large and covers too many different areas and people due to the demographics shifts over time.) How can this be interpreted to mean that all immigrants should be allowed in regardless of background, origination, or threat?
Here is the law, passed by Congress, and used by Obama, Bush, Carter etc without issue, protest, or riot...
"(f) Suspension of entry or imposition of restrictions by President

Whenever the President finds that the entry of any aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, he may by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or nonimmigrants, or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate."

And what about this part?
"(4) Public charge
(A) In general

Any alien who, in the opinion of the consular officer at the time of application for a visa, or in the opinion of the Attorney General at the time of application for admission or adjustment of status, is likely at any time to become a public charge is inadmissible."

Are these radical Muslims and "children" from Mexico, Honduras, etc coming in as "refugees" bringing with them their cash or will they get any public assistance?

Now, the next step, a full en banc hearing or straight to the split SCOTUS? Or can we wait until another Justice is appointed?

Also, as a legal question, what if Trump initiated another order, with slightly different wording, and enacted it? And repeat, repeat the process. At what point could a Court say the Executive Office is being frivolous or making a mockery of the Court? Can they hold a member of the Executive Branch in contempt even? What if Trump 'doubled-down' and pulled a Andy Jackson and "you enforce it, Court" and just ignored this biased decision?

Politics / Inauguration
« on: January 16, 2017, 09:35:18 PM »
Now that the Coronation of Hillary was cancelled by the voters and Electoral College- we get an Inauguration. Ok, forgive my dig there. Some thoughts on the event:
1) Anyone going? (Pro, Con, just for the history, to protest, for terrorism, to hit on chicks at the Women's March, just because you live or happen to be in the DC area, for business to sell stuff, etc?)
2) Do you think there will be any major disruptions or problems?
3) Anyone who lives in the area renting out their place or rental unit to make some $? If so to whom (not specific individuals but for pro or con types?)
4) Historical predictions (in terms of numbers, weather, issues, news commentary, etc?)
5) How will the various new agencies report and handle it?
6) How many people in Congress will end up skipping official events?

Politics / DNA testing companies/ads: race, ethnicity, disease
« on: December 09, 2016, 09:14:05 PM »
Seeing a lot of commercials for "" and other outfits that sell you the neat idea of getting your DNA anaylsis, or Christmas soon, giving a DNA search gift for a relative. And "find out" your ancestry, roots, etc. And others who advertise other motives: "who is your daddy" etc. Some random thoughts:
1) what do they do with your DNA sample once the analysis is done?
2) is this idea of determining your "ancestry" a good idea for society?* Could it cause divisiveness, "racism," or family problems (but you always told me X was daddy or we were from Y country?) Or could it help "bring the country together"- "see everybody is a mix of various backgrounds?"
3) is that DNA sample or information sold to data-mining companies, medical companies, insurance companies, or governments?
4) is that DNA sample or information able to be discovered in civil or criminal proceedings? Or by your insurance company or doctor?
5) what is the liability on these companies for errors? (You might think you have more prevalence for a genetically disposition for a disease- or not and not get screened, you might find discrepancies with regard to parents, etc?)

*a friend got one done and contrary to "family stories" for generations there was no Indian (native American) found in her sample. The dark hair and looks that poped up sometimes in the family looks were, apparently, from Italian/Spanish etc blood. Technically, this could've screwed up some minor scholarships for her (like that infamous Democratic Senator who claimed "Indian blood" based on "high-cheek bones) a lot of people in Oklahoma etc claim to have Indian in their blood. Lots do, of course but maybe not as many as claimed.

Politics / Civil Rights Acting Head's actions "void?"
« on: November 18, 2016, 10:49:03 AM »

"Vanita Gupta, the acting head of the U.S. Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division, apparently has been working in violation of federal law for more than a year and a half.

That may render all of the official actions she has taken during that period—lawsuits, demand letters, hires, you name it—“void” and of no effect."

"Thus, every action Gupta has taken since May 13, 2015, may have been of “no force or effect.”

It calls into question the validity of all lawsuits initiated by the division that she authorized; any pleadings filed with the federal courts such as the consent decree with Ferguson that she signed in March 2016 or in DOJ’s litigation against voter ID laws in North Carolina and Texas; any hires she may have approved; and any other actions taken by the division that require the approval and authorization of an assistant attorney general who has been confirmed by the Senate."

Politics / Tim Kaine
« on: October 27, 2016, 04:14:53 PM »
Hillary might win due to her money and support of the media and billionaires so I think we need information on her VP pick Tim Kaine. It would appear that she might not make through 4 years due to her health problems, age, excessive drinking, and whatever "bumps on the head" so this guy would be President. I find some articles but nobody in the media (or alternative media) is really talking about him. From what I can find the far-left doesn't like him and the far-right, so maybe a good guy? Or is he also a wolf in sheeps clothing? I know he supports TPP and although a Catholic and against contraception and the death penalty supports abortion and homosexual marriage. He also over saw something like 12 capital punishment deaths while in office. Here are some interesting articles from the fringe and mainstream perspective on him:

Politics / Canadian Court might ban Cleveland "Indians?"
« on: October 17, 2016, 04:45:58 PM »
SJWs at work and the usual trying to get attention ploy- but it will be interesting legally and in marketing and how the MLB, the owners (some were named in the suit,) MLBPA, and the broadcasters/media will handle this. Game is going to start soon and as of yet I haven't heard about any ruling or continuance or dismissal. Or if, as the article mentions, the Indians will make it a moot point by playing in an alternative road uniform that doesn't have "Indians" on it. Also will any Cleveland fans who traveled for the game be banned from wearing the logo or name? Does Canada have free speech in that case or can "hate speech" be used by individual provinces to ban gear? Will a similar stunt lawsuit be also used in the NHL when they play in Canada?

Politics / Lawyers
« on: October 14, 2016, 10:35:10 PM »
Lawyer cabal vs other lawyers. Billionaires vs billionaires in other political/economic fights. It is like we just replaced royalty against each other (though some are still involved.) Note, a billionaire owned news source, not Cooper, Alex, Mae, etc. Truth is stranger than fiction.

Politics / be "ready to fight [North Korea] tonight,"
« on: October 08, 2016, 11:02:14 AM »
We should always "be prepared" but I still question using this type of rhetoric in a public forum, especially when the adversary mentioned is mentally unbalanced, paranoid, and whose country is starving and corrupt. It could, of course, been an issue of translation or "aggressive" reporting by the Japanese paper, but UPI picked it up so?

Politics / Happy World Refugee Day!
« on: June 20, 2016, 04:54:28 PM »
If there are any illegals or "refugees" on BG I'm wondering how you are celebrating? Rape? Drunk driving accidents? Child molestation? Gangrape? Murder? Arson? Or just spreading some diseases?
The returning diseases are;

    1. Tuberculosis
    2. Measles
    3. Whooping Cough
    4. Mumps
    5. Scarlet Fever
    6. Bubonic Plague

Politics / Obama's Father's Letters
« on: June 18, 2016, 10:49:04 PM »
A trove of letters from Obama's father, ok at least purported father before I get the Frank Marshall Davis stuff, has been discovered. Actually a few years ago but just now making news because Obama has still refused to read any of them and, I guess, the NYTimes needed a "Father's Day" story.

"“The papers are rich; they tell a fascinating, traditional, self-made man’s story,” said Khalil Gibran Muhammad*, the director of the Schomburg Center, who said he hoped Mr. Obama would read them someday. “There’s a reason to bear witness to the personal legacy that is here.”"

It would be interesting if this institute would make them public or post them online or at googlebooks or someplace. Because his tale and career is, actually, an interesting story and it might also bring to bear some information on the "international man of mystery" President Barack Hussein Obama (or whatever name he is using this decade.)

* again there are always Muslims connections with this character Obama.

Politics / EURO 2016
« on: June 11, 2016, 07:35:32 PM »
Idiots, criminals, and hooligans. And even the honest, peaceful supporters who show up and get caught up in the moment and need to run etc from the idiots. Stop fighting each other. Yes, I'm a nationalist and good to support your countries but in times like these? It is more important to support Europe, not the EU government etc, but your Continent and culture. Instead of rioting and fighting each other, if you must blow off steam and all those beers and booze, unite and focus on the real enemy in your midst. I'm not advocating violence but peaceful protest and marches through the Fifth Column neighborhoods and Muslim "refugee" camps or against the politicians who continually sell you out by suicidal immigration schemes. Soccer (football, association football, etc) is no reason to get violent. Neither is the invasion, lest I'm investigated or criticized -peaceful protesting only- but certainly the invasion is more worthy of your efforts (in theory.) Band together against the common enemy and actual threat and let ball games just be about fun.
