Politics / The Democrat National Convention
July 24, 2016, 11:23:26 AM
I'll kick off the Dem convention thread with the news that, to avoid a PR disaster, crooked Wasserman-Schultz will not preside over the convention but neither has she been fired by HMH.  And Clinton is trying to pin the DNC scandal on Trump and Putin colluding to embarrass HMH and sell out the country.

Dems must have cast iron stomachs; cuz I could puke this is so f'ing rotten.  It's far more serious than the Watergate break-in that brought Nixon down.  The question is; are Sanders supporters really stupid enough to shift support to HMH now that her complete dishonesty and corruption has been exposed with searing brightness?  Or will the focus grouped vids with tinkling piano music and images of her comforting the children put them back into the SJW trance?

It's f'ing murder to tell these poor bastards that they can win with a few weeks of mediocre training, no artillery, and no armor against a trained, organized and brutal ISIS force or the Syrian army.  And that US air support mentioned is $10K/hr/aircraft minimum.

SYRIA'S NEW US-BACKED FORCE STUMBLES IN FIRST TEST
BEIRUT (AP) - The call came around noon, about four hours after U.S.-backed Syrian fighters announced they had taken over an air base outside a town held by the Islamic State group near the Iraqi border. "We are trapped. Pray for us," a commander called into the operation room. Then communication was cut. Six hours later, the exhausted fighters from the group, known as the New Syrian Army, returned to their base in Tanf, nearly 150 miles (240 kilometers) across the desert to the west, having lost four fighters, four vehicles and ammunition. The swift, humiliating defeat last Wednesday marked the end of a widely advertised offensive launched less than 24 hours earlier with intense U.S.-led air cover.

Politics / Should MV ban neonazis/antisemites?
June 25, 2016, 12:59:20 PM
The debate/complaint is about them common enough in political threads where some can't restrain the impulse to display bigotry.  I'm starting this thread so they have a place to lay out their ignorance without fouling other threads. They seem to be multiplying on BG.  Maybe someone is evangelizing about BG on bigot sites.

Politics / The Brazilian Olympics and Zeka virus.
June 01, 2016, 12:15:31 PM
If anything showed that the IOC is an corrupt bunch of elite fools, it was their awarding the Olympics to crime-infested, bankrupt shithole Rio de Janiero. Who needs a sewer system or better public safety and health programs when there's important stuff like kayak courses and bicycle tracks to build?  The most stupid public health decision in history is WHO now saying zeka is no big deal; go party in Rio so you can bring Zeka home as a souvenir.  I wonder if the public health institutions have just thrown in the towel on control of such things as zeka and ebola because of the ease and speed of travel now.

The Obama Admin ordered today that cross dressers and wannabee pervs shall be allowed to use the public school restrooms and locker rooms in which they feel comfie.  Not quite the force of law, but they'll use Title 9 Fed fund allocation as the hammer.  It's astonishing how a microsliver of emotional freaks in society have wrapped the liberal establishment around their little finger in scarcely a decade to accommodate the culture of f'ing pervs.  I suppose giving the pervs their own facilities would be discriminatory.  The arrogance of the order is breathtaking.

I'm not a hard  core sports nut and am fed up with the affiliates that pre-empt C2C to run extra innings night baseball PLUS interminable post-game blather.  The D-backs game Monday was almost  5 f'ing hours and stepped on two hours of C2C.   So I'm requesting folks post C2C affiliates that don't pre-empt for sports and stream on the net, or are on Tune-In.  I wish I'd gotten the recording version of the Tune-In app.  I haven't found an app that records streaming audio (like Audacity) but Apple lawyers probably strangle them in the crib.

The fucking Saudi Arabs are freaking out; today it was leaked that they formally threatened the US govt that they'd dump $750B in US securities if the truth about their complicity in the 9/11 Plot is exposed in US courts.  Sen Bob Graham, who chaired the 9/11 investigation, says the 28 p. are the tip of the paper iceberg.  He also said 9/11 couldn't have happened without high level Saudi support.   I can't wait to hear what Trump has to say.  I wonder how much Saudi hard assets in the US are worth.

Politics / So what about Kasich?
April 14, 2016, 08:17:01 PM
No Kasich thread?  Time to deflate the folksy gas bag.  I just listened to him being interviewed for an hour by Chris Matthews, a tough interviewer who calls BS when it starts flowing, and I concluded that he's the biggest damn phony of the lot.  He talks the "common man" line but is more hardcore establishment than Dick Nixon was. On all the key issues; Mideast, immigration, trade, jobs, health care...all he could do was his "Aw shucks, I'll just do what I did in Ohio" jive.  He did it so well that Ohio is near the bottom of the states in growth; 47th and 45th in the surveys I checked.  I was disappointed; I thought Kasich could be the lifeboat vote; no more.  I'd vote for Cruz before I'd vote for this lifer hack.

Either he thinks he's stabilized Assad or that he's a lost cause that will only be a millstone around Russia's neck in the grand Islamic clusterfuck.

Politics / USSC Justice Scalia Dead at 79
February 13, 2016, 04:13:01 PM
Found dead at a TX resort.  This will mean thermonuclear appointment war, and its likely McConnell won't allow a vote unless a Repub wins in Nov.

Thought I'd open a heading for non-Trump stuff relating to the Republican primary candidates.  Christy made the case last night that Rubio is an empty suit. All ambition, no substance. Same applies to Cruz, except Cruz has the charisma of a bark scorpion.

A lesson in calligraphy (!) for VA high school kids had them copying/imitating the Arabic script for the Shahada, the fundamental Islamic profession of faith recited by Muslims in their daily prayers, and btw, the inscription on the ISIS black banner.   And, yes, the lesson explained the meaning.  Evangelicals went nuts enough that they closed the schools in the district yesterday. I think I would have gone nuts too if it were my kids' schools. Reminded me of the time I DID go nuts on a teacher over telling my son's 7th grade class that Geo. Washington died of syphilis. Too bad the true moron who came up with the VA lesson plan won't be fired; as she certainly would if the lesson required a Muslim kid to copy "Jesus is the Son of God and my personal savior".

Of course, Muslim "leaders" are whining about it as islamophobia while ignoring the insult to their faith from using using this vital prayer as an art exercise for infidel kids in a public school.  Meanwhile, the idiots wonder why Trump is on top of the heap.

Los Angeles School Board received an unspecified threat today and closed all 900 schools and told 650K students to stay home.  That system costs many million $ per day to run, now lost for this day. NYC had the same threat too, but they decided it wasn't credible and  ignored it.  The new reality.

Obama...please explain how crimes that warrant $5.8 BILLION in fines don't warrant a single night in the slammer for any of the perps.  Oh...they were all "fired"!!  I bet they're all holed-up in the Hamptons hideouts, crying in their Abreau Cabernet, quaking in fear of indictments.  Yeah, I bet.

And the moron Limbaghists keep insisting that Obama is a Marxist. When he signs the TPP, his underlings should hang a big "Mission Accomplished" banner behind him.

Politics / Waco biker shoot-em-up
May 18, 2015, 12:02:09 PM
Nine dead in a biker gunfight that probably started over who had better accessorizing.  America in 2015?  How'd the futurists miss this. I'm always nonplussed whn I see a pack of affluent greybeards on $25K Harleys and wearing a grand in leather gaywear pretending to be outlaw bikers. The Waco TX police chief said "...this could be any town in America".  Sorry pal. You need to get out of Texas more often.  Another feather in Waco's cap.

With the DC-NYC trains down due to the wreck in Phillie, an American or Delta DC-NYC air shuttle ticket that was $300 Tuesday is now $1200.  I wonder what Uber's doing?

BFD. He makes $130K per speaking job.  An enlisted man doing what he did would likely be doing hard time for a long time.

PRN has kept a 5-minute video by the "Jefferson" bunch linked on the C2C website. Funny thing is that being associated with Noory's C2C will likely brand the promoters as flakes.

Random Topics / Road rage, Las Vegas style
February 18, 2015, 02:17:25 PM
Original story to cops:
A Las Vegas Mom was giving Little Sis a driving lesson last week and some guy in a gray car nearly hit them, exchanged heated words, and followed them home, where some one in his car shot Mom in the head.  Older son came running out of the house with his Glock and returned fire. Mom taken off life support 48 hours later. Community is shocked.

Eventual story to cops:
Mom was giving Sis a driving lesson, driving very slowly, some guy in a gray car passes them.  Daughter honks horn at him; he stops blocking them and exchanges words. Mom drives home, collected her armed son and went looking for the guy.  Mom found the gray car, followed it, and somehow ended up with a bullet in her head fired by someone in the gray car, and was taken off life support 48 hours later. Community shrugs.

In 2015 America, I figure both guys with guns have a strong legal case of self defense.

Politics / The irony of the Paris Massacre
January 19, 2015, 12:31:10 PM
Charlie Hebdo was a huge money loser with tiny circulation (under 20k/wk), and about to go bankrupt.  Now they sell millions of copies and will get a subsidy from the govt. that will keep them going.  If the killers had not acted, CH would soon have disappeared; now it's future is assured.

Politics / Republicans...there they go again...
December 11, 2014, 09:55:11 AM
Now we see why the Republicans delayed their massive spending bill until the 11th hour (govt is out of cash at midnight).  It not only raises the limit on individual contributions to political parties tenfold to $320K, it removes post-crash ban on banks gambling with derivatives and swaps with the FDIC backstopping them. Plus lots of Easter eggs for the rich.  This time they still need some Dem votes and Liz Warren blew the whistle and is trying to get Ried to show some last-minute backbone.

In January, the floodgates will open when the pirates' lackies are back in control.  They'll rile up the base with empty bullshit about the border and Bengazi while they once again help their cut-throat patrons board & loot the American treasure ship in darkness.

Random Topics / Furries gassed in Chicago!
December 08, 2014, 10:43:14 AM
Someone must have really had their tail in a knot to try to gas 'em.  I've heard of them, but figured they were truly rare.  Well, there are enough of them to hold conventions.  The internet lets all sorts find each other.

Random Topics / UFO believers: "Smoking gun" found
November 13, 2014, 12:52:17 PM
I call it not smoking but a pile of steaming BS.  Alien autopsy deja vu.  I remember the same "film stock authenticated to 1947 by Kodak" malarkey from the alien autopsy movie hype.  Jeez, that was almost 20 years ago!
