Thanks!  Maybe the news of Ian Punnett returning for an occasional weekend show means that Dave is out.  I know they(Ian and Dave) are also on good terms so hopefully whatever happened/happens was amicable.  A healthy relationship between C2C and MITD would be great.

Been a huge fan of Dave since the early days of Darkness Radio in Minneapolis, couldn't be happier with this move as I felt Beyond the Darkness was a steep decline from Darkness Radio.

Will Dave still fill in on C2C?  Not sure if he said anything- I missed the beginning of the show and would rather listen in its entirety once uploaded.

Really appreciate how candid a lot of these Guests/George have been.

Really enjoyed hour 1.  Seemed like a genuine, heartfelt tribute.  Thanks, George.

Wouldn't be surprised if Pete listened to Art Bell, too.  Another voice that is/will be sorely missed.

I know the tone in this thread has been more on the lighthearted side, but man, this still hurts.  As soon as Art left MITD, I knew and came to terms with the fact that we'd never hear him broadcast live again; but knowing that voice on the other side of the radio all of those nights is no longer on this earth really sucks.  Unfortunately it wasn't a huge surprise when the news of his passing broke, but after years(and years, and years) of entertaining us- I really wish he could've enjoyed a final retirement and flown his drones around Pahrump a little longer.

It seemed Art wanted her to make a decision to either talk to him or the time traveler at the beginning when Heather said the time traveler was back on the line.  He deserved a proper farewell I guess, and taking calls with Art as mentioned would've been more fitting than this.

I understand candidness is Art's "thing", but I worry any on-air discussion of staff jumping ship(or switching to the dark-side)/any whiff of trouble in paradise this early in the game will make potential affiliates think twice.  But I'm sure Art knows what he's doing far better than I.
